Started using the C4 on my mix bus last week. Really thought I was the only one doing this, but wow! It has changed my mixes for the better
Use it for mastering. Especially to control that low end. It helps greatly!
This Plug - In is a Gamechanger! Just using the presets has improved... everything. But ..I am now having to go back to my old mixes and use this...Blimey!

Not always needed when mixing as things should be sorted with EQ levels panning etc. Rather handy for the mastering stage to push or pull certain parts in the mix that needs to be altered. Hey do what you do. Have fun.
What about side chaining for kick and bass separation? That still clears up space and makes the kick more pronounced? Putting the kick in mono only is mid

What's the difference between a multiband compressor and dynamic EQ? Aren't they doing the same thing?
It doesn’t permanently take out parts of your eq’d vocal

Can we resize the window yet? I really find it extremely difficult to work in this pokey little space with such tiny text.
In V14, it's resizable up to 200%, I think. Only got the C4 but it has that option.
that last before and after I think was a mistke because the "after"preview has bypassed "mid low":D
why does c6 change the sound even with 0 compression or expansion going on?
Yeah.. that's the problem with Digi screen based processing. You have so much power, very few actually understand or care enough to use it all. That's why simple hardware stuff is popular. Waves! spend as much money in deciphering this unbelievable stuff with easy to understand you tube videos as you do making the stuff....it'll make you a better company. Its as difficult to translate this tech correctly as it is to make it me thinks - well almost.
Give me a shout! I have standard dyslexic tendencies and I understand what's needed. Very tricky stuff 😊
I have a two-year-old version of this plugin. Now I can no longer find where to insert the track for the sidechain. What happened? Has it been removed?

I’m not tryna hate, I own and love all of your plug ins but some of em are just so hard to look at. And it’s not like they can’t look good because they’re old, I mean look at Arturia.
If they will use the modern UI then it will take more CPU usage and waves also known for their less CPU usage plugins and there non-modern GUI makes plugins takes less CPU usage but it don't compromise with the quality with the plugins if you notice .

Even 30 years old WinForm style is easier to read and far better than this modern look in C6. Do not modify the user interface, it is already at the limit of usability.
Universal Audio just went to make videos of their products, you guys started too. lol
Now that UA plugins can be run natively on computers and have released high-end interfaces but at affordable prices, other companies have gone crazy.. kk this video is proof of that! 🤣

I never liked this Mb comp. neither C4. tHey tend to cause a phasy thing specially on the mid lows where the beef of snares lives. Now the Linear version of this was way better. In general not my taste to mix the mixbus. Prefer a simple stereo compressor like SSL comp.
