They did such a great job with so very little money in those days. The major reason these videos were so great was the music. It was just so very very creative back then. We have lost most of that in today's music.
You need to watch more 80s music videos. The stranger the video the better it was. That what us kids grew up to, when I see this only thing that comes to my mind is “great music, ok video” but I never once thought weird, because all Of the 80s was one weird era. And we loved it Stranger things when all the kids were singing it. That was real life every school playground we kids sang it during recess when movie came out. Just like stranger things scenes. The movie left a lifelong lasting effect that decades later it’s one of my favourite childhood movies . Almost every 80s kid remembers this movie as a classic
