You have a much better vocal delivery than the average RUclipsr. If I were you, I'd work on cultivating your talent even more. I can pick out people with this natural talent. Keep up the great work. I really enjoyed listening to you.
My daughter grew up with social media so she’s fluent. She has done very well on instagram, so RUclips is branching out for us. I’m doing YT so i had to study up. Definitely different styles on each. I still haven’t told most of my friends I’m doing this!
Ooh I’ve been there! I only started telling people when I worked at my 9-5 when algorithms started to feed them my sponsored content and I couldn’t avoid it anymore. 😂
#8 - I think the longer you do this and the more you get burned from places where you thought you'd get validation, the less you care about it. Just gotta do it to make it happen and tear the Band-Aid off. It's worth it! #9 - Was going to comment about having more of a "whole content strategy" across multiple spaces... but then I saw #10 and #11😂 #12 - I like to think I'm in a nice post-comparison, post-algorithm stage, but I'm not producing as I work in the background for the next stage of my life as a creator. That said, now I'm comparing myself to other directors and trying to find my place in my day job, so hey 😂 It'll find you somewhere! #14 - "The internet is now your office."
hehe appreciate you my friend!! Hahah we are in synch for 9/10/11. 😂 It really is wild how the comparison slips in somewhere or another. But you best not be comparing yourselves to other directors because are THEY balancing a WHOLE OTHER JOB AND BRAND ON THE SIDE?!
Love how much thought and effort you put into each video you push out Kaya. Thank you for staying real and sharing so generously! I've mostly just shared on Instagram since that's my preferred way of sharing (photos and stories) and was able to grow a decent following a few years ago but burned out and went on hiatus on that account. With changing directions and starting a new account since then, I hope to push myself and get to the point of being able to film and share my artwork process and things I've learned along the way on RUclips _someday_ 😂
Thank you so much and thank you for sharing! Burn out is SO REAL, your next direction sounds so exciting though, I know I myself would love to see your artwork process and learning!!
Great video, straight to the point and relatable! If you have come across this video, I highly recommend checking out this channel and binge watch a bunch of other videos. Soothing voice, pleasant and calm video, educational, well artiuclated and, again, straight to the point. So I promise you won't be wasting your time. I would like to know if you read any business/marketing related books, Kaya. If so, what would you recommend? I watched the video that you posted before this one and you shared your love for books growing up 😍
Appreciate your kind words SO incredibly much!! That's such a good question but I'll admit I'm much more a read-for escapism type of girl. 🫣😂 But I've really been enjoying Atomic Habits as an overall resource for life, The RUclips Formula by Derral Eves for YT tips, and it's been AWHILE, but Getting to Yes from what I remember has good resources for negotiating. I was actually thinking of doing a big read of some popular resources so I could recommend them better! Time to get on it!
Ahhhhh it’s all becoming so clear… I still have no idea on my ‘why’ 😂😭 more so my ‘why’ changes every day. I genuinely cannot choose a direction I want to go in with my content- it’s been 2 years of “imperfect” action but it’s lead to essentially 0 growth. I’ve been at the same number of followers for over a year now.
You can have multiple why's if that helps! 👀 😂 But seriously it can take a while to really nail it, but I find what helps is going back to why I started in the first place, and also what aspects of creating would I never want to outsource even if I had a team.
Glad it was helpful!! And I *know* the niche topic is a sensitive one --but know it doesn't necessarily mean boxing yourself in too tight. Just be able to have a thing that you are known for that people know they can return for.
@@CreatingwithKaya Would love to see behind the scenes on editing videos. Can I ask what you use for editing. That’s one of the things scaring me about posting the content I currently have.
I need to lean more into long term content. My recent TikTok’s have been getting decent views (for me lol) but it doesn’t translate to followers very quickly
I hear you on that, TikTok gets you those dopamine hits and views but so much harder to turn into a community. Long term/form content is so rewarding, but it really is hard to find the motivation to keep at it at the start because the pay off is so much longer. 😔😅
That one can honestly feel like the hardest, keep experimenting with different styles and incorporating elements from content you like into your own, and put your own spin on it . and above, all lean into your own, lived experiences- that is some thing that nobody else can replicate.
I feel so called out!! Which is in fact validating, it's so hard to commit to a niche when you've been floating on vibes for years. lol
😂 floating on vibes is the most relatable thing ever… and there’s nothing wrong with it, it just makes the journey a lot harder 😅🫣

Your content creation hacks are genius!
Appreciate you!! It’s funny because I don’t see anything as hacks, just lessons learned that I hope will help out others!
