Thanks so much for this list. Used the tip for tire wear on the 650s and finally managed to win human comedy Lake Maggiore Circuit with it. As a controller user tire wear has always been my biggest problem there. Still was tough, but was the first time I didn't lose time from tire wear.

@OmegaO hey guess what, with the new update, I would like to get your opinion on something. Do you think this update changed the cars or just the way people tune? I noticed my gt3 porshce feels not right even with countless of hours of tuning on Spa. I tried to get it feeling like my last version porsche, before this update, but now I can't get that back.
Very good video and list. Im glad you mentioned how they perform on RH tyres as pro/cons for the cars. I think that is such an important factor given how often we race on them.
Yeah, the RCZ. I started my Gran Turismo journey in online by using mainly the RCZ in late 2019. I loved that car. I should race it again, not worrying about result.
The AMG is fantastic on trial mountain. It's definitely the best handling car on that track, not the fastest but it definitely handles that track better than anything else.
Thanks @OmegaO, I pretty much agree with all your points, but I think the Genny must still be on the edge of this group. I have chosen Lexus for Manu this time on the strength of the BoP changes. The gr4 version of the Lexus is a little ‘special’ in terms of its gearing ( I’m doing GT2 on my alt account due to the crap GT1 timings in NSW). But I’m looking forward to using the Gr3 Lexus at Bathurst, very stable across the top of the mountain. Great content again, perhaps a gr4 version would be the next logical video. Nice work mate, keep it up 👍
No worries. Yeah the Genesis wouldn’t be far off. Main reason i left it off is because its not the easiest car to drive imo, before the changes it would’ve had to be on the list tho. Yeah fair enough, unfortunate sometimes with the timing. Yep, lexus should be flying at Bathurst id imagine. Great car to drive there. Makes sense, thanks for your thoughts mate and will do 👍🏻
I need to figure out how to drive the Lexus because I can't get pace out of it. I'm very strong in the '20 AMG, the 650S, and lately the Corvette and the GT500 Supra at Monza Daily Race C. But I'm not competitive in the Lexus for some reason.
Its not really great at Monza though. When a track rolls around where its top of the leaderboard again give it another go. Just rev it ALOT. Could also just not suit you too. If not, all good cars you listed anyways.
I've driven the Lexus here and there, but most recently Monza Daily C. Mid corner and exit it pushes like crazy on throttle and costs lots of time down the subsequent straights.
I've been rocking the Porsche RSR grp3 for awhile now. It's quite the workhorse. While I love it, I am getting a bit bored with it and may swap to maybe the AMG.
From driving with the Lexus before and after the last update I would say the only but biggest flaw with it would be tire life it absolutely eats tires.
@@OmegaO no problem love the content btw! Just as someone who ran with Lexus in the last manufacturer cup just didn’t want anyone to get caught out from the tire wear.
😆 there might be but its my list okay lol. Well the Genesis is not quite as quick now and i wouldnt say its one of the best all round cars purely because its a bloody nightmare to drive 😂
You should also mention what cars have the endurance kit. Real gt3 cars have endurance kits for night racing. So, if you plan on doing night racing, you should use the amg as it has the option to fit the endurance kit in gt auto. However, for some reason, the r8 lms only has the sprint headlights, which is not going to help you in the nordschleife at night.
What's your pick for Gr2 cars? I'm currently testing out the Honda NSX Concept. It's not bad, damn quick on the straight and pretty nimble cornering. Keen to try the Nissan GTR 08 around Mt Panorama though-the 4.5L V8 and 1,100kg is pretty damn appealing (huge V8 supercar fan here!)
good video and channel my personal thoughts on any category racing car choice is slightly distorted as there are too many variables (track, racing conditions, number of laps, tyre wear, fuel, controller vs wheel, wheel brand, personal driving style, torque feedback personal choices, type of championship or race, pit strategies, DR/SR class rated group that one is racing against, etc etc) which i think all adds up to most transient nerfed settings that PD do i believe to give/get more attention than it really deserves. i mean for example, take any world championship season and deciding on which manufacturer to contract with, i really don't give current PD settings much thought at all as in my experience it is the mostly about the actual set tracks for that particular season, what class your in at the time, and how much time you really have to setup a specific car for the set tracks coupled with so many choices of manufacturers and personal driving styles and how one races in a group of completely different personalities etc.. eg, ratio of time spent on car selection and testing (on all the seasons tracks, over many variable parameters, weather conditions, fuel/tyre multipliers, etc) vs getting on with comparing your own personal manufacturer favs and getting on with pre-race practice and setting a pre-qualification time that sits well with your expectations.... my little (just for me really) youtube channel i use to upload championship races completed direct from PS5 is easy and is great for post race analysis on Ipad at times when i don't want to be at home or in a racing room... keep up your great work! nice work mate... The lexus drains battery for no reason then you cant get in the boot for tools to remove to remove the battery, it is under braked for weight, handles like a watermelon on a stick, chews juice and warps brake rotors. Oh sorry i am supposed to commenting on cars in GT7. Arent I?

Well BOP brings them closer together but its not perfectly balanced. So essentially, they are not the same. They also change it sometimes to make some cars faster or slower.
I raced the McLaren in the last manufacturer cup. It really lacked power on interlagos and Bathurst. I couldnt overtake the merc or gtr even with slip stream. Very dissapointing on uphill tracks with long straights
I’ve been playing the game for a few months and so far have been just using the cars I’ve won or collected for completing things. Any suggestions as the best all arounder for $1 million?
Thank you! Well it can help with tyre wear and also how the car turns into corners. It basically directs where the force of braking is applied, a negative figure means its towards the front and you will wear your front tyres slightly quicker, the car may seem to understeer under braking and this also shortens the braking distance. On the other hand and more commonly used in my experience is a rear brake balance. I find that most cars are good with +1 to +3 somewhere in that range although some cars such as the group 2 amg are even better with +5 imo. Rear brake balance slightly extends the braking distance but you can potentially get better rotation into corners. It really depends on the car, your driving style and other factors such as tyre wear as to which i will choose to use. This setting wears the rear tyres more. Even no change in the brake balance can sometimes be the ideal setting. In the gr3 AMGs for instance im finding that 0 works best for me most of the time. With improving lap time with it i make sure to have my own fastest lap ghost and try different settings and see how i go against my ghost. If i choose a particular setting and suddenly through a sector im way ahead of it then it gives me a clue i could have a better settings. Lots of testing and trial and error basically. Or just watch some of the fast streamers and copy what they do 😂 Keep at it 💪🏻 GL and i hope that helps :)
