It feels like the Legitimacy Path is geared towards players who want to become the ruler of a foreign empire. Obviously the locals wouldnt see you as legitimate so you need a boost.
After you invade and conquer a large piece of the map the first perk helps you bring it under control because every county will have near 0 control, while the less dissolution factions stop it from falling apart again from all of your new different culture/religion vassals.
I agree they should throw a couple other nice bells and whistles on some of the perks.
As an Englishman you should know Dieu Et Mon Droit is the motto of the English ruling house :D
Yeeeah but we don't speak baguette.
😂😂
@@cheesecakeisgross4645 not you, but many of your kid did, before startingusing english when they lost all french lands
@@wolffrdu6463 Im going to assume you mean "kind" and not "kid". Anyhow while what you say is true yes, an English speaker today would have a much easier time understanding what a German, Dutch or Norwegian is saying than someone speaking French. A much easier time learning said languages aswell, especially Norwegian. English is a Germanic language in nature and not a romanse one. Having some loan words wont change that.
@@FredrikSkievan i wanted to write king, not kind or kid, bloody phone autocorrected again, why some time it do not auto correct when i need it, and some time it do and it lonch a word that isn't what i wanted to write (was writen on pc, so if they are some error, sorry, i have dysorthography)
what i wanted to say is, the english king after the conquest by guillaume the conqueror used only french and few used english until they loosed the land that is now in france
The only bit I really like about the legitimacy one is the last one.
As that can just be crazy powerful where you have kids rolling out the door at level 5 of your chosen lifestyle.
Especially if combines with level 2 or 3 Kin I believe?
I’m surprised they didn’t add a legacy path to do with health and diseases.
I think it may have been too good, I kinda see why they didn't
I’m guessing it would make the whole “we have plagues now” part of the game a non-issue. Obsolete on launch.
@@TelperionMt eh idk man lol i started a campaign last night and instantly got leper like with in minutes of me starting it like tf bro kinda op way to tell me to f off so health bonus would be nice oh and i quit that and started again took Normandy from France instantly had a flue breakout in my capital tanking my troops which led to me losing my title to Charles 😂 either am cursed or this shi is too op
@@KnockoutsKoKingsThis is the Paradox Way. Every new mechanic they introduce needs to be tweaked and tweaked again before it's good.
@@TelperionMt ik 😭 i had to use immortality mod so i can unite Britannia under Norse English rule (because i want pope to launch a crusade so i can whoop his ass) i did that cuz idk if it is just me but the plagues are killing me or setting me back so bad before i can even build hospices
They explained the AI never steals a legend seed immediately on it becoming available. It waits for a month or two. You won't lose it immediately but should be careful anyways.
That's ok then but I'm waiting to get myself caught out anyway 😂
The legendary watchtower is really good imo even they dont have renown but the downside is we cant choose which county to build instead it random .
Dieu et mon droit means God and my right. It was a phrase used by Richard the Lionheart in his battles against Phillip Augustus.
It was to remind the people that Richard had taken the cross and fulfilled his pledge while Phillip had run back with his tail between his legs.
Oh how the world would have been if Richard had lived for an additional ten years
or not you know, given france the most strategically important forts in the Continental Angevin holdings to get help in a rebellion against his father. Dick highly overrated and a bad king of england. Spectacular Duke of Aquitaine, though.
@@katmannsson Richard never wanted to be king of England. King of France was mother matter though and something which I am alluding to
It doesn't seem like the first tier of Legitimacy is good, but I see it as basically the first perk of the Overseer tree without dread, free for literally every family member. Definitely makes securing yourself all but guaranteed with minimal effort.
LOVE IT
fyi the down in history perk is worth getting now because ai will go for your cap more now if they don't take too much damage from attrition so fortifying your capital is now worth getting so ai cant use the rush capital cheese we all do 😂
oh no its getting smart!
@@Malforian ITS ALIVe!! 🤣
I don’t think the legacies need a buff their legacies they supposed to be strong if anything some of them are too weak especially since the game hasn’t end date now, if the game didn’t have an end date, they should’ve made diesel powerful
Legitimacy legacy is pretty ass. Sons of our fathers is pretty good for easy Legitimacy but that's it.
Its weird how you put up a video about how useful they are but you don't even know how they all work or what they do
Super weird
