Maybe the fact that my ex cheated on me (my ex literally finding hookups on telegram) multiple times + flirting and sexting with multiple peoples by sending explicit photos when we were still together, and put the blame on me by saying I’m not sexually attractive enough + need to focus on self love and decided to propose the breakup ??
And yet I’m still dumb enough to lie to myself when I found the evidences of my ex cheated on me...
My ex cheated on me with someone else... I found out from his fb status, he lied that it was a prank from his friends. But after that “expose”, he blocked me from his fb. And things just went downhill from there...
although I tried to believe his words, but my gut feelings tell me otherwise. That was when I decided to break up with him over text...
I found out that he married that person during one of my trips with my bff after a year or two... i thought that I had gotten over him, but when I found out about the person he was marrying, I was shocked and felt betrayed... because I remembered asking him if we should breakup since he no longer loved me back then...
but that was also the official start of my healing journey... It took me many years to get over him or heal from that breakup. The biggest takeaway I have was never to cheat on your partner... if you like that both of you are no longer in love, it is better to end things properly before starting a new journey with someone else...
So many promises but all broken. We didn't have a closure so I had to find different ways to find my own closure months after months hurting so damn much. I feel that having a proper closure is the most important thing so you don't leave things hanging with loose ends. It's part of being responsible and giving respect to another person. A selfish, irresponsible bastard I would say. Bless the next girl! Oops!
I started liking this boy when i was high school. Long story short, i was dating him n broke up after a couple months of relationship😂 after broke up with him, i just found out from friend that he asked me to date him, just bcs that he lost gambling with his friends. Besides that, when i was in relationship with him, turned out that he often went to his ex's dorm with his girl friend (classmate). And a month after broke up with me, he started dating his girl friend😂😂😂 i thought he would be dating his ex, not his girl friend...
most unforgettable thing was the dreadful break before the break-up and the fact that we were going to choose a flat. I guess the heartbreaking part was the fact that it was a 3 year relationship where we just drifted apart due to phases of life...but it taught me that communication is important like what Zhin shared and sometimes, the words of the people around you and your partner do play a huge influence in decision making :(

I totally agree with what Chow said. I Shldnt be faulted for someone else’s unfaithfulness! Loving yourself is really important ✨ went through a period of self doubt and blaming myself, trying to understand his actions until I realise it’s foolish to do so
