    I bought a monstera from Costco's some years ago.
    It was actually one that I sent you pictures about a while back.
    It was already placed in the pot wrong when I purchased it. It already had a decent size to it. After watching your videos and then getting some more advice from you, I tried to reposition it in the pot the way you suggested.
    I'm pretty sure I didn't do the best of jobs.😅 But I did my best LOL.
    I have seen a significant change in growth. And it is more aesthetically pleasing.
    Hopefully the younger monstera that I acquired which had only a few leaves on it. Which is now attached to a moss pole and positioned the best way I can LOL will not give me as much of a headache.
    So far so good.
    Though I am the plant 'addic' in my house , we all enjoy your videos and I actually get my whole family to watch your videos with me. Thank you for all the great knowledge, advice and content!😊

      Love your videos and your advice is clear and concise! I had to propagate my huge monsterea and gave 3 away and they now have 8 leaves to admire in their hom! However my mother plant had all new leaves or fronds going this and that way! Should I just let her be for now?

    That corkscrew twisting Monstera situation is exactly what I sent to you via email some time ago (my name's Slavo) :D Thanks for the email response and this video! Much appreciated. I already tried fixing it and now I'm continuing by trying to continuously stretch and twist the main stem to straighten it as much as I can. Good luck to all the plant growers and lovers with your Monsteras!

    I bought a baby monstera at homedepot for super cheap a few months ago, and after being entertained by your plant info i realized my monstera is all wonky. After watching you repot, support, and separate your plants, i did it myself only to find this place stuffed NINE monsteras into one medium pot. I decided it was time to get them outta there, and after about a month of shock and virtually no growth, im finally seeing new leaves again. (I put the smallest baby on its own and its finally growing a leaf, and i separated a baby stem and threw it in a pot with the specific plant that grew the first fenestrated leaf of the bunch and they BOTH havr e little babies comingggggg)
    Thanks if you did read this. You must know how much joy this plant has been giving me and the part you have to play in maintaining it. I enjoy your videos and the way you deliver information, and i hope you keep making content that matters to you, and in a way that feels the most comfortable. Youll always find someone who enjoys c:

    Monstera came with 4 MORE which I have repotted. They've taken a long time to grow a new leaf (during winter) but I'm on track with

He wrapped rope around each of the pipes and then connected the poles with a small PVC pipe wrapped with rope up on top and it looks so amazing. My three monstera plants are happily climbing up the poles and it looks so full and amazing. The PVC pipes are extremely sturdy. Highly recommend this way!

    My stem is doing the corkscrew move, can I counteract this by forcing it upright and restaking?
    Also, I saw your repotting video and noticed that you didn’t break up the root ball, so I did the same since mine is so huge. A week after repotting I ended up clipping off the older/lower leaves as they were drooping and going yellow. Is this normal after repotting or could I have done something wrong?

      @@KillThisPlantLee what do you recommend for helping your plants from shock when repotting them? Any kind of additive like some recommend? ✌🏼

    • @KillThisPlant
      @KillThisPlant  10 месяцев назад

      @@T4Tracy2 not really, as long as your plant has good light and roots are healthy before repotting and you go up to a reasonable size with 'good' soil your plant won't go into shock. There are 'transplanting' fertilizers designed to help with that. With the NPK there is usually a high middle number.

    How long have you had this monstera for? Or should I ask how old is the plant itself?

    • @KillThisPlant
      @KillThisPlant  10 месяцев назад +2

      Grown it out for 3 ish years now, from a cutting.

      Great! When you propagate from a cutting does that fast track the maturity and fenestrations?

    • @KillThisPlant
      @KillThisPlant  10 месяцев назад +2

      @@pgarcia.13 generally yes, it depends on if it's a top cutting. If it's a mid cutting it depends on how thick the original stem is.

      @@KillThisPlantso I have watched and did the soil as you have shown us, the different types, but what the heck are you feeding that beautiful plant? Which food or fertilizer for airoids do you prefer? I live for your videos and your awesome advice! Living in Nevada and having a real hard time with my airoids and new over crowded in the pot new monstera from Lowes, I have a million questions but those 2 are at the top of my list, Thank you for sharing your knowledge and green thumb with all of us that are struggling 💞✌🏼

    Now THAT'S what I want! Lee, she's absolutely gorgeous!
    How can I ask you about a problem without butting into a conversation like this? If there is a link, I haven't found it! Thanks
