What i want to know if you can buy a whole car for 11,000 dollars? How come it is so expensive for home storage lithium lifepo4 lithium battery 48v 100 ah 1400 euros in Europe
The range is not enough by Indian consumers, if it's in a 80kw battery pack then it's a game changing innovation. Xev9e is far more superior in specifications, features and size, even though byd companies battery has installed in it with lifetime warranty on motor and battery. People in India are expecting long range batteries like 150 kw battery like wise charging capability under 7 minutes but on a economy price.
Does it build to last for years, or only will last upto the warranty period? Are the replacement parts available for replacement? Will it retain its future resale value? Is my hard earned money isn't an important factor any more?
@@loadsadosh I will take my experience anytime over yours, fast charging destroys the lifetime, and I will never believe anybody who claims otherwise, simple physics, above is just a marketing BS from CHINA
Japanese/Europe car maker will have difficult time to adjust to EV because their production line still align for combustion engine, moreover with their subcon tie up, which doing the small parts. it will take sometime for Japanese/Europe car maker to setup EV production line, unfortunately by that time China EV already far ahead and consumer already adjusted to buying China car, so that is why until now Japan/Europe EV are still limited
Hoping BYD make the Seagull in RHD, and it comes to Australia. BYD has a refreshed version of this car, minor changes but I think the car showen in this video is the old one. The Seagull is not aimed to be a Tesla competitor.
Congratulations BYD!!!!
It must be just as fast as the petrol pumps, and we can't let private businesses control the charging networks they will rip us off.

China technology 👏 👏
Even with 100% tariffs the cost will be only $22000. Go for it.

What happened to the free market and why is this car not in America ?Oh right they’re the competition so screw consumer.
Just saw my first BYD Shark in Melbourne Australia as I was watching this episode. I can’t wait for these vehicles to be in Australia.

Destroys the battery
Do you own a car. Clearly you have no clue

sound to good to be true. Cool if it is
LOL... @3:56: You mean EFFICIENCY not inefficiency.... you might want to correct that.....
The voice says AND efficiency, but the under title changes that to inefficiency
i hope its true, i want one
The BYD Seagull should become the world's most affordable electric car. Just like the VW Beetle once was.
8C charge rate good
Affordability, reliability and efficiency? 2 out of 3 ain't bad. Byd are notoriously unreliable.
cant buy in usa so mute point

How come you can't spell "charge"?

300Km is the bare minimum to dominate, if its already at 200km it just will be matter of time
yeah, charges in 7 minutes catches fire in 10. It's crap, thank the lord it won't be allowed into my country.
its not lithium powered, how can it catch fire?
@@willtabacchi1408 The Chinese will find a way. Hot charging ports and substandard wiring harness would do it. They will figure it out.
Kudos to BYD 🇨🇳🇨🇳🇨🇳🚗🚗🚗🥇🥇🥇--👨🏽🦽🌴🦅☕️
