    Amazing as always... What Dima teaches us all is how important breathing is to Chi (intelligent energy ) in generating power... he is explosive with his shots and relaxes in between.... just amazing.... i am learning a lot from these videos and trying to apply it to my and my kids game... Keep inspiring us all Dima.. Cheers

    Great athletic ability, the banana flicks are explosive and super well placed on the table (love it). This is a tremendous weapon in today's TT game. I had also commented in another site how important breathing is important during play, I have a serious problem as I keep cutting my oxygen supply as I am going through a fast rally. Your breathing I believe helps that type of issue by releasing energy and forcing air in/out of the lungs. VERY important ! (even if it sounds funny like some say, I think this is a must, some will make more noise than others, that is all !)
    Super intense video - kudos to your dad that is there all the way ! Bravo

    • @TTSmashCity

      Thanks a lot for your nice feedback Alexandre! We like the way you look at it! Since a very young age Dimas dad told him to daily train on breath out strongly to get more power in his strokes, that became stronger and stronger during the years.. but also more and more power came out of it. The same with many of the professional powerful tennis players.

I wonder how you develop your mental toughness? Ma Long won in the last set by just break of the game.thanks Germany for supporting world table tennis.is it true boll's wife is a Filipina? Congratulation did a good effort for a good showing in the Olympics. As a personal protests i didn't not follow lawn tennis it's news just passed the glimpse of my eye. Denying me the worthwhile table tennis news. You know just lately I knew Seung Min Ryu played professionally in the German league a league going on for a long time yearly.oh my! Vielen Dank für die wertvollen Einblicke! Ich werde heute Abend im Training sofort eine Multiball Session einbauen.
    Ich habe eine Frage zum Vorhand Topspin und der Ausführung. In den meisten Fällen trifft Dima den Ball mit der gewohnten Schlägerhaltung beim Topspin. In seltenen Fällen sieht es so aus, als ob Dima beim Vorhand Topspin den Ball förmlich einwickelt und somit das Handgelenk und die Hand geknickt sind und die Hand fast am Unterarm anliegt.
    Ist dies eine spezielle Ausführung, welche nur in besonderen Fällen ausgeführt wird? Danke für den super Content und alles Gute!

    • @DimaOvtcharov
      @DimaOvtcharov 2 года назад +4

      Danke Stef! Super💪! Das ist ein spezielle Rückhand Griffhaltung welche ich anwendet. Da ich extrem zwischen Vorhand und Rückhand umgreife, kriege ich deutlich mehr Speed und Spin in meine Schläge, verliere aber etwas Zeit beim switchen zwischen Vorhand und Rückhand.

    Watching his backhand stroke, one realizes how grossly inefficient his forehand is. He was able to generate more power with much compact motion with his backhand. Maybe trim the backswing of the forehand little bit? Use more elbow and wrist and less body to stay close to table. Chinese are moving towards compact strokes. Playing close to table, sometimes their elbow stays same level as their head and still able to produce quality balls..
