In ther UK the only place that sells them is RPRC: www.rprcdistribution.com/tekno-rc but they are sold out currently so can only pre-order, really is a great car though
Hi question for you guys my new Tekno EB48 2.0 & Hobbywing 1900KV on 4S 70C GensAce with 17t 43.16mph & 15t 35.44mph both asphalt what tooth would I have to run to get 50+mph?. I expected more than 43mph on 17T as obviously lighter than ET48. Great channel btw
It will depend on what size tires your using, but with the 1900kv your likely going to need to be on a 20t or 21t pinion, we were one a 18 or 19t pinion and with a 2200kv motor so had 5,040 more RPM than the 1900kv motor. Glad you like the channel and thanks for watching 👍
@@HardcoreRC thanks I will be testing settings on my Hobbywing ESC with the programmer which will hopefully help me over stock settings resulting in faster laps after settling on 15 or 17t for racing on astro.
Max8 with 2200kv motor on 17 tooth pinion. Really depends on type of bashing, the Tekno is really a race truggy designed to flex, so any hard bashing well bend the front drive shaft, however the diffs, arms etc are tougher, its has a 7075 chassis and shock towers and its a lot lighter than an Arrma, if M2C bring out center braces fort it then it would be a solid basher. We use ours Tekno to bash race is that makes sense, and use the Kraton EXB for the real big bashing, hope that helps
@@HardcoreRC thanks for answer. I was thinking to do the same bashing as people do with the exb. But if you say it will bend maybe better get the exb. If I do so I can use all the stuff I have from the notorious. Don’t know what to do
@@michaeltan1708 If you really want to be sending it then i would suggest the EXB. For me the Tekno is just to good at handling to be sending it stupid high etc, that is what we have the EXB for, Tekno just handles so well. But to through a spanner in the works, if you can find a ET 48.3 with the M2C upgrades that would be a worthy basher
No problem, dont think it will hold up to hard bashing currently - really needs a M2C brace as the chassis is designed to flex for racing, stock set up is fine for light bashing, bashing racing
Excellent 😎 .. my exb6 with max8 15t went 57 on grass .. Nice going team hardcore.. u need to bring that out racing with us Dave .. Callum is a very worthy challenge to try and beat round the track 💪👍
Thanks - yes hopefully get out with you guys again soon, got a few busy weekends ahead, airfield this weekend hopefully, then Paddlesowrth Event, then Wing and Wheels, going to be a busy June
Not first. 😂. That’s a fast truggy!! 62mph is insane!! ALMOST too fast for my liking. 😂. Excellent vid! I’m surprised Jack didn’t crash it! 😂. I’m sure the road rock incident was just a fluke. Nothing more. (Maybe a bit more than just a fluke😂)
Nice speeds I was kinda skeptical about Techno at first the more I see them run the more I'm impressed I really like this one It is insane on 6S It would make a great 4S class race truck Nice vid guy's 🔥👍✌️
Wasn't really speed running it, just seeing how fast it was with the set up we use, you will be surprised the number of people that ask for this type of information. If we were actually speed running we would be using our Big Rock built to speed run or our two limitless's
@@HardcoreRC Thats what I meant. Why speedrun this Truggy? Lets say you use it on a track, then you make the setup fit the track. These Speedruns won`t tell you anything. I just don`t get it.
@@PaddyPatrone Not many of our viewers / subscribers actually race, they bash. We did this video as we had a lot of viewers asking how fast it was on 4s You are correct racers will set the car up with camber, toe, gearing etc for the track they are on, but we dont race, the car is just set as stock and never changed. Everyone uses their cars in different ways, the key is to do what you enjoy
on a positive note its good to get 876 views 👍 yep its quick and no sign of frontal lifting either, not that we will ever really run it 6s, 4s is more than enough for bashing / racing
Poor diffs. They will melt if u bash with that kind of power. Have a rcr mod lrp .32x in my nt48.3, my diffs lasted 4 tanks🤦♂️ get the hardened steel diff case!
Tekno makes a great product and it looks as though yours is no exception
They do make a great product, loving this ET48 2.0 - need to buy more Teknos now 😂 they are a joy to build as well
Hi guys, could you please let me know who supplied your Tekno ET48, as I am interested in building one.
Keep the videos coming.

Which combo and pinion are you using, between kraton exb and the et48 2.0, which one would you pick for bashing

Thanks - weather is on and off, this was shock during a break in the rain, drove 200 miles round trip to shoot it as well 😂😂

62mph is very quick, but that was on 6s and to be honest we wont run this on 6s as 4s is more than enough. Yes no crashes this week 👍
Very good buggy handling and stable brilliant keep up with the great videos
Thanks, will do!
Nice video
Great footage
About to start to build mines tonight
Thanks - enjoy the build, wtahc the shock collars though, they are tough to get on, apply some silicon grease similar to help

Awesome speed test run my friend😍😁
