I will start reading NCERT books from basics and will try to understand history with open mind and will follow PYQ .
It's better to just jump to class 11th and 12th ncert history books or be steadfast at standard books as they will provide you with a history in chronological order and the rest of the ncert is just unorganised in many ways and no need to worry since all the important points of ncert will be covered in standard books. I hope this message will be helpful to u.
1. 3 main take away for me A. I didt understand the chronology B. Concept clearity C. History is change by invasion 2.after my 10 I did't read history 3. *1.Three main take aways for me. A) history is a very interesting subject.I want to know history in chronological order . B)concept clear C) without proper guidance ancient to modern history is so boring 😞..... Knowing our evolving history gathering ways of a great level of knowledge .
1) 3 main takeaways for me a. Know the demand of UPSC b. Read chronologically with low connectivity c. History evolved with time (Open minded reading) 2) After 10th I am from a Science background so not connected with history so need to make connectivity with history as a subject. 3.) I like the ancient part of Indian history basically IVC because they were more civilized and scientific than modern times. 4) Medieval and Modern will be the weakest for me because many events and quite difficult to remember. 5) I will change my approach to the current demand of UPSC to complete history by connecting all dots between many events and rather reading a book must try to understand the background of that time. Thank you Ravi sir and Kawal Sir
Take away 1.interlinking chronological, understanding the history.2.medieval history 3.modern history 4.learning chronological order interlinking the concept.
Three main take aways.for me: 1. I have a basic understanding of historical events, including their background, sequence, and context. 2. However, I struggle with conceptual clarity, particularly in ancient and medieval history, likely due to gaps in my foundational knowledge. 3. My interest in history is stronger from 1857 onward, as this period marks the beginning of the war for independence, which captivates me. 4. Ancient and medieval history remain my weakest areas. 5. Moving forward, I intend to study with a focus on connecting historical events across different periods, aiming to uncover their relevance to the present. I plan to approach history with greater curiosity, seeking to understand the significance and impact of each era.
1. Conceptual clarity, enough content, structure 2. I had a basic idea of things but not enough content to write several answers. The reason can be not enough revisions. 3. Ancient History because it is totally fascinating to learn about the things that in a way shaped today's living. 4. It can be medieval as there are a lot of dynasties and invasions and shift of power happening which will need thorough knowledge. 5. Interconnected concepts, rather than memorizing the events it'll be much better to keep track of the reasons for events.
The 3 main take aways from the session are: a. To understand the history in chronological order in terms of timeline. b. to learn the history enthusiastically. C. To eliminate the misconception that history is a boring subject. 2. I lack 40% conceptual clarity in history because I could not comprehend the ancient history and medieval history as well. 3. The modern period of Indian history, I found to be most fascinating because I have much more interest on studying this period Aaj compared to the ancient and mediaeval history. 4. Ancient era. 5. I will more focus upon ancient history and medieval history and foster my preparation to the next level.
1.a.conceptual clarity b. Chronological notes c. asking questions regarding events and the reasons behind specific occurrences 2. I have a hard time recalling specific occasions, years, and people since history is so huge. 3. Ancient and medieval history 4. Modern history 5. Reading history in story format, making notes in chronological order, multiple revision, making timeline to remember years, events.
Don't take me wrong but (1:00:22 ) there's a little mistake in this, Portuguese gifted bombay in dowry to British not French Bolte bolte kyin bar hmse bhi glti ho hi jati h
1- a) It is easier to understand the History when we set up a link between the events that had happened. Making a flow chart of the event with relevant information to create a better understanding. b) Relating the three parts of the History and link up them with our daily lives will make it interesting c) We should learn from our past and not make same mistakes. 2- I am not able to create the concepts effectively in different situations.I fail to analyse it in all dimensions or to get a deeper insight and lack the ability to make connections in the events simplify the learning process and use the real time examples. 3- I find Modern History more fascinating since it tells clearly why our country is in its current state and the nation 4) The medieval History is the weakest for me. I think there is too much going on so and easy to get out off the track. 5- Understand the chronology and preparing the flow chart to remember events. I will try to relate the events with our daily lives rather than just mugging up the facts.
1.interlink history with present time B).try to learn what's the reason behind events C)build up story while learning history 2.not to interlinked the events and chronological order 3.modern india 4. medieval 5.will try to learn history with cause and effect r/s and in chronological order
Hi Sir,Thank you for everything. 1)My three main takeaways are a)It gives a clear view on how we can improve ourselves. b)History should be learned like a story based on timeline. c)Every period has its own specialty in technology and development. 2)This explanation provides a clear clarity on the different time periods and where to improve. 3)Medieval history 4)Need to work on Ancient history. 5)Need to understand the timeline of different periods with the concepts and technologies of each period. This makes clarity on each period and will be focusing on the revision.
1. My 3 main takeaways are: * chronology of events is of utmost importance and should be considered while starting out. * History should be learned like a story, not some factual khichdi. * History should be compared and contrasted with the modern role/POV. 2. My lack of conceptual clarity in History comes mainly when I have to put emphasis on timelines and dates of events. 3. I find the Gupta age and Mauryan age to be fascinating as it has given so much in terms of popular art/culture and India's History. 4. I believe my ancient and medieval India is the weakest. 5. I will try to link and relate things and understand the chronology of facts.
1.What are the 3 Mains take-aways for you from the session?>> Learn in a sequence; understand the underlying theme; relate history to current(administration, economy, art culture) 2. To what extent do you lack conceptual clarity in History and why?>> i try to read conceptually, issue is with memorization. 3. Which period in Indian history do you find to be the most fascinating and why?>> Modern- i took guidance for this subject so it became easy the way i taught. 4. Which era of Indian History (Ancient, Medieval, Modern) do you think is the weakest for you?>> Medieval- ive not revised it much and need to read multiple times. 5. How will you now modify your History preparation to improve your quality of preparation?>> integrate subjects- read governance, art and culture, economy historically.
1.Three Main Take aways • Big Picture formation of Indian History as a whole • Learning history in chronology makes it easier to understand the concept and connect it with incidents. • Point of View of historian and how history has shaped the present society. 2. I Lack conceptual clarity in Ancient and Medieval History as I always stuck to learning important topics alone and never tried to learn the concepts thinking History is highly unpredictable in exam. 3. I find the Ancient History part fascinating as it was these civilisations that formed the framework for course of events right from invention of Iron to how it shapes classes in society. 4. I feel medieval is difficult for me as there a lot of dynasties that was prevalent in this period. Each dynasty has number of rulers and their own works associated with it. Since I have never properly spent time, I feel its difficult. 5. Instilling curiosity factor along with learning things in sequence with a story like narrative will make history a easy subject for me.
A) like this chronological way is the soo helpful to remember the whole history. thankyou sir B) lack of conceptual clarity - because maybe lack revision or deep dive and history have more years to remember. lack of analysis C)modern history is some more fascinating than other D) weakest era is medieval - may be because of terminologies E)understanding the topics well and follow the chronology rather than mugging up and prepare chart for remember chronology main points and MORE Revise, analysis
Some corrections - 1. Fire wasn't invented it's discovered. 2. Ashoka adopted Buddhism before the war it's just that he changed after war of Kalinga. 3. Bombay was given to the British from Portuguese as a dowry with a secret pact that the fort will be used to protect the Portuguese settlement so French didn't gave Bombay to British.
It's ok... Jab app itni bdi movie dekte ho toh ek do loophole... hona common baat h... Aspirant today session is n't history session it's like a movie which enjoyed🙂
1) What subjects/topics to focus on for studying, the methods and techniques for effective studying, and the areas that can be avoided or excluded from the study plan. 2) The timeline presented in the videos clarified historical events, but I had difficulty distinguishing between ancient and medieval history. 3) I am particularly fascinated by the ancient historical period, as it offers a glimpse into how life was during that time and how much we can learn from their intact civilizations. By understanding the reasons behind their decline, we can apply those insights to the present day. 4) I find the medieval period somewhat challenging, especially due to the complexities of various dynasties involved. 5)Understanding the chronological order of events and incorporating it into the study process while establishing connections with the information. Thank You
1. i) Understanding by connecting events. ii) Remembering History as story. iii) History is very important for UPSC 2. Up to level to clear UPSC because this is my ultimate goal. 3. Modern India because it gives us a clear picture about freedom struggle and reforms. 4. All the era of Indian history. 5. i) Doing BFF and making broad picture. iI ) Reading at least twice and making notes. iii) Revising again and again. iv ) Solving test paper.
first one is from Right now ancient history has become interesting to me too. (2) Today I understand the overview of every era of history. (3) After this video session all over history has become interesting for me. First I must know Syllabus of history, I should analysis of syllabus UPSC what want to ask us. I must read history like a movie not a chapter reading
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THIS WONDERFUL SESSION MENTORS !! 3 Takeaway for me ... 1) Studying historical events in a connecting manner instead of just mugging up the events and dates. 2) Try to understand as you are experiencing the same things and connect it as it's happening in front of your eyes . 3) Just develop ENTHUSIASM I lack conceptual clarity in the ancient history concepts as didn't read it in chronological order. Medieval history is fascinating for me as there are a lot of empires and each have their own strategy for expansion and consolidation. I'll not say that I totally find modern history as my weakest point but I need to work upon it more than ancient and medieval history. I will improve my way of understanding of history of all 3 phases - ancient, medieval and modern and will read all of them in a connected way instead of parting it differently , reading it as a story will be much more convenient with questioning the events as how, when, where and why..
Thank you sir for providing us good session on History The three take away for me was; a) relating the ancient people life with modern people life and seeing similarities between them b) understanding history in story format c) each phase in history is interlinked to each other In history my Conceptual clarity was very weak because I never tried to understand it in story format; and always started mugging up the concept. Modern history I found it more interesting as this was the time when people came to understand the true meaning of unity in diversity and fought strongly against Britishers. Ancient history l found weaker section for me as different ages comes in play and also the different civilization also. I will change my approach towards history.
THANK YOU SIR FOR THIS WONDERFUL SESSION. The major take aways from this session for me is to learn history as a story, understanding chronology of the events will help to remember things better, comparing ancient, medieval or any part of history with our modern life will give more clarity and understanding. I think I lack of a lot of conceptual clarity because till now I was just trying to remember all the events, I didn’t try to associate it with modern times nor did I try to understand it in a story manner For me the most fascinating period is ancient history because in that period we can study the root culture of India, about many inventions, different types of arts etc. For me the weakest is medieval and then modern Ill try to remember history like a story (in fact ill try to imagine it like a movie), will try to associate it with modern time as sir said HISTORY REPEATS will try to link everything. :) once again thank you so much KAWAL SIR and RAVI SIR, it means a lot.
This session is really very helpful. It has helped me to have a overall idea on the ancient period to modern India. Overall picture about foreign invention is clear to me. Some data on Ancient India are new information to me. I have lack of conceptual clarity about Medieval portions. The period from 1857 to 1947 is the most fascinating to me because in that period patriotism, unity was seen among Indian. Medieval History is the weakest point for me. I will focus on my weakest portion of History to improve my knowledge, clear my ideas and all guidance received from Ravi Kapoor Sir will help my improvement. Thank you Sir.
Thank you to both of you sir, specially to Kawal sir for teaching the entire history as a movie of 1.5 hrs. Sir it was really a unique history session I've attended ever. From Harappan civilization till 1947, at a glance. Sir now reading any book of history will be easier for us to proceed as we had a mind map of entire history subject.🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤
Bhai, the whole components of history isn't covered in this session many components such as civilization in Eastern India in ancient times Harsha's times , early mediaeval dynasties , islamic invasions , Delhi sultanate, later mughals later mediaeval kingdoms such as Marathas ,peshwas, many British wars against indigenous principalities etc are missing. Many would consider these topics obsolete but they are quite important for optional and also for prelims and leaving it aside art and architecture is not even given a glance in this video maybe they would make another video for it but it's one of the most important component as per prelims and gs mains so man Although the video was resource full and an eye opener the history of India is humongous it can't be overviewed in just 1 and half an hour so I would suggest u not to limit urself just to these topics but try to explore other part of history too in a upsc oriented way .
1. 3 take-ways a. Understanding of Chronology shall help in remembering the facts. b. Enjoying the facts shall create intrest in History. c. Easily understood Acts of British Govt for administration of India. 2. I enjoy History while studying but forget many facts. 3. Revolutionary and extremists phases of Modern Indian History bcz it first time created a large pubic base for revolution. 4. Medieval is the weakest for me. 5. Understanding the Chronology and preparing flow chart to remember events.
1. To interconnect the things of history and present and to understand the sequence of the history so that we have fine knowledge of the topics and to avoid any confusion. 2. There a lots of confusion as it is very difficult to learn the whole things in all the three parts of the history ( ancient, medieval, modern ) because to learn the names just like the names of the kings ,the dynasties and many more. 3. I like the modern and ancient also ...in ancient we come to know about various developmental and interesting civilization..(Harappa civilization, there advance culture..) 4.medieval history cause of so many dynasties and kings. 5. By chronologically....
Thank you so much sir for arranging this lecture 1. By attending this lecture, I got little confidence about history. Explanation was given very well so I understood it well. 2. I have studied history till 10th std. After that, history didn't have much to do with me So I have to read History again from the beginning. 3. Modern history period This I know a little too much. Learned this while in school. So I know more about this period than other 2 periods 4. Ancient and mediaeval history period seems to be tough for me bcoz Not much is known about it. I don't remember History events n their period easily 5. I will understand complete syallabus. Then I will create interest in history while studying. By understanding the concept of history, I will study history by an events.
1. Three main takeaways for me:- A. Understanding history B. Clear view of concepts C. How history is evolve 2. After 10th class I study commerce so I was not connected with history 3. I like the ancient part of indian history basically IVC because they were more civilized and scientific than modern time. 4. Modern history 5. Reading history in story format, making notes in chronological order, multiple revision, making timeline to remember years, events.
Thank you, sir, for the wonderful session! 1. Take away a. Connecting the events and their background b. learn events in chronological order c. Understanding the themes behind the events 2.For me lack of conceptual clarity in history is due to not able to connect events in chronological order. 3. I find modern history more fascinating as it's easy to relate plus connecting and understanding events is easy. 4. Ancient History 5. Interlinking the events and understanding the chronological order of events in a broad sense.
Sir, your mentoring is truly inspiring. But these sessions would be more engaging and more useful if captions are provided. Then the students who prefer Hindi over English can understand using the audio and the students who prefer English over Hindi can understand using the subtitles. 🙏
1) 3 main takeaways: Linking different history periods and finding common points to memorize, relating history with present days like symbols etc, understanding the history in the form of a story. 2) I lack conceptual clarity in ancient and medieval history as it is difficult for me to connect the dots. 3) Modern history looks easy to me as I will be interconnect it( not best but better when compared with ancient and medieval history) 4) Medieval history is the weakest point for me. 5) I will try to understand the events and observe their sequences and will try to interlink it. I will try to correlate the history with present day situations and will try to remember it.
1. The 3 take aways from me are understanding history in a whole as in step by step, relating it to role plays, Imagining them into a story. 2. I lack in memorizing years and remembering many things. 3. I find that Ancient, medieval arts, culture their work without technology are most interesting than modern history. 4. I feel that modern history is little difficult to remember as we can see there are so many factual things happened and so many freedom fighters, revolutions happened. 5. I will read history now as a story based fact, wars, battles, revolution and keep in mind every time from which era we reached till here.
1. Learning everything in the form of a story, also sequence. 2. Medieval History as I find it simple to remember, 3. Modern history as it has too many facts. 4. Preparing notes to remember history.
1 ans A-- how to read history B--- follow the pattern C--- link them to remember it 2 -- there are lots of name which I can't memories.. 3--ancient easy and small 4-- modern ..many events and name 5-- write ,revise, memorize
1) 3 main take-aways for me are :- a. build up a story while studying history. b. Rather than cramming notes, try to learn why it happened. c. Interlink history with present time. 2) My conceptual clarity in ancient and medieval is 65% ( no problem in remembering names and battles). But in modern history, it is 35% ( confusion in acts, years, ideologies). 3) For me, ancient history is most fascinating as it is easy to remember and is golden age of india. 4) Modern India history is the weakest for me. 5) I will try to learn history with cause-effect relationships and in chronological order.
Through this session now I've got the proper guidance of the strategy and the syllabus. I found there is a room for improvement and work for me in the ancient part of the history. Now I shall read or analysis various topics and try to figure out the different things then it'll help me in depth.
1- I understand the a) background of events b) chronology of events c) basic understanding about history 2- I lack conceptual clarity in history like ancient and medieval part mostly because my basics are not clear 3- after the 1857 I like more to study because from here's the war of independence has started 4- ancient and medieval are weakest 5- now I'll study to link past history events and try to find out the relevance of that period, I'll be more curious about history
Thankyou so much for this session ❤️❤️..it created a road map in my mind and clear my doubts about ancient dynasties and their kings...I really appreciate that how they summarise whole history just in 1 hour...thankyou so much
1. My take: - History needs to be taken as a story but, of course with dates. - It is connected to everything with everything in todays society. viz., social system, monuments, literature etc. - It needs IMMENSE REVISION. Includes an answer for the points above as well, once I have that, I believe I would have a command on them. 2. Throughout the session I was confused about the way things were related and also it may be because I never liked history as a subject (school). Perhaps, this is the reason I felt lost after a while with the dates, places of origin, key persons etc. because I studied to pass. 3. Honestly I found interest in parts with time. Some from Harappan Civilization, Rigveda and with Sufism. 4. Ancient and Medieval may be. 5. First, understand the historical timeline i.e., from BC - AD from a very brief perspective, following the MAJOR key people and then dive into it once prepared with through revision, because it becomes very confusing. Once I am able to do that I believe I will have a stand and move to Level two.
Thanku sir for this unique session..... It's like I study hole history in just 1.5 hrs. Through this session it's easy for me to correlate ancient, medival , morden history . This is something like core video for history
Report Main Take away 1.Multidimensional view 2.Know why things happened before mugging up 3.Connecting the missing links Clarity Connection between the events and not finding the reasons of why it took place Fascinating Period - Modern History . The freedom struggle , various plans and to keep unite people is difficult for long period. Weakest : Medieval History History Preparation. Including time line , find reasons ,effect of events ,looking for cultural social changes . This session is truly what we call BIG PICTURE before diving into subject .
A good and informative video, giving a true and clear picture of all main events of history. It helps in better understanding of history Easy to remember in story format, creating big picture formation is very important
1.3 main take aways a. Interlinkage b.chronological order c.Understand the subject 2.I am lacking conceptual clarity in ancient and mediaeval history because there was no interlinkage between the events. 3.Modern history is the most fascinating for me because it had interlinkage and chronological order. ancient and mediaeval history are the weakest for me. 5.I will understand the subject, study standard books, make short notes, Practice answer writing for mains and practice MCQS for prelims exam.
Three main takeaways : 1) timeline revision of history 2) inter connecting periods of ancient, medieval history 3) changing perspective on how to study history . My conceptual clarity is unclear in terms of which era these dynasties belong to and when northern kingdom a certain kind is ruling, corresponding which dynasty rules is the south. I find the period of Ancient history most interesting as the fewer kingdoms and evolution of heterodox philosophies with the kingdoms can be studies. My weakest area is Medieval period as the number of kindgoms or dynasties are many and the particular causes and interlinking of period is difficult I will read more novels and take a deeper understanding of the subject in order to develop a good understanding of this subject.
The three main takeaways for me have been: 1. it’s important to understand chronology of events as causes and effects are easier to comprehend and understand 2. It’s equally important to take those causes and effects and relate them to other associated things 3. It’s also helpful to see if the things we’re reading about have some form of a role to play in our modern times. I think my conceptual clarity in history lacks mostly where it comes to correctly placing events into timelines. I find modern history to be the most fascinating because it has directly shaped all of our lives. I think early medieval history is where I need to work harder. I will try to link and relate things and not study them as isolated facts. I’m certain that this will help me form a robust chronological order (or a timeline) and I will be able to better place facts and events therein.
Thank you sir for this amazing session on history 1.some topics are not much difficult as I suppose to.... 2.understanding eras by connecting with technology and theme 3.easily understand difficult topic by learning in the form of story In Some topics I found lack of clarity due to lack of understanding in right way Modern is fascinating Ancient is weakest Improving by applying key words taught in the session
Take away 1. Connecting the events and its background 2. Not to interlinked the events and chronological order 3.Modern Indian History 4.Ancient 5. Interlinking the events and understanding chronological order of History in broad sense
1. Relate to current issues, learn from what happened in history, learn in sequence. 2. Concepts of medival history is not clear as never studied in detail. 3. Most fascinating is ancient history as it tells how everything started. 4. Weakest is medival history because it is difficult to remember what was going on in diffrential regions simultaneously. 5. I will try to understand the chronology.
My three main takeaways are 1.history is interesting, if we read in a right & chronological way. 2. History is not just about memorization it's also about understanding. 3.reading books for upsc will be interesting if we know a general story of the chapter.
1. a) It is easier to understand History when we set up a link between the events that had happened. Making a flow chart of the events with relevant information helps to create a better picture. b) Co-relating the three parts of History and linking them with our daily lives will make it interesting. c) We should learn from our past and not make the same mistakes again. 2. I am not able to recreate the concepts effectively in different situations. I fail to analyse it in all dimensions or to get a deeper insight. I lack the ability to make connections in the events, simplify the learning process and use real time examples. 3. I find Medieval History the most fascinating because of the way it had been taught to us earlier in our school days and the way it had been glorified. I feel it is easier to understand because of the familiarity of the names and places. 4. The Modern History era of Indian history is the weakest for me because of the number of events that had happened in that phase. There's a lot to memorize and there are many dimensions of each event which I fail to analyse and that's why I'm not able to answer the questions. 5. I'll read/listen to the topics at least twice or thrice in order to get a better understanding of the concept. I'll try to relate the events with our daily lives rather than just mugging up the facts.
@ravikapoorirs4636 1.Key takeaways - a. Understanding concept and trends of questions b connecting history with future c relate with sequence of events 2. i am not able to connect events 3. ancient history is more fascinating 4.medieval history 5. I will try to visualize and start connecting the events
1. Three main takeaways for me a) Understanding history in a sequential manner b) Understanding the themes behind events c) Being familiar with the syllabus more 2. I studied history until 12th and had the subject as general elective in college but due to covid I lost touch with it. 3. I find the Indus Valley Civilization the most fascinating as it was developed in that time period (2500 BCE) 4. I find the Medieval History to be more tough than the other. 5. I will try to connect the dots and form a timeline in my mind so that it becomes easier to recall.
My three take aways from this session are- 1. Bring conceptual clarity 2. See ancient medieval and modern as an integrated whole. 3. Understand context and trace the background of events. I am a History student, I have studied it for 5 years for now, so my concepts are pretty clear. I find Ancient History fascinating because it covers a large period. Modern is comparatively weaker as many things are going on simultaneously and every event in India is connected to global politics. I will understand the context and try to interlink topics and events instead of mugging up the facts.
session was amazing, answer to questions -- 1. Read history in chronology and not as different sections, think of history as a story, learn about cause and effect of everything. 2. My concepts are not very good, I think reason was I always read history as parts like ancient, medieval and modern and never tried to relate one part to another. 3. Modern history is most fascinating for me. 4. Both ancient and medieval are equally weak for me. 5. Firstly I'll start by connecting things with each other as a story, by watching documentaries related to topics which I can't understand, by reading books light headed and not taking history as pressure.
Three mains take away for me........ (a).. All the era in history is very intresting. (b).. We can also understand all the concept with sequence wise( all the era in history) (c)..The one thing to notice that History repeat itself. 2... The basics problem for me is that it's hard to remember the year in which events happend. 3.... Harappa civilization 4...Medieval history is weakest for me. 5...I will start to read history but with emotions means to say that I will try to connect with it. And I read it with imagination because it creates a better picture in mind.
thnku so much for this session. it hd cleared mine doubs btween understanding and memorizing the thing and a good way to approach the history in simplistic way. the way u related it with all the three phases ancient medieval and modern. thnku sir fr this great session n helping the students ,
take away(A) 1) got a small idea regarding how India becomes so diverse from the invasions . 2 ) In a chronological order 3) how culture and arts are connected . 4 ) how India is emerging from an uncivilised to a state . conceptual clarity (B): sir it was hard for me to understand many as i lack knowledge in Hindi (c) fascinating : ancient and medivela and modern,, weakest is medieval . i ll try to learn them as a story
Thank you for this amazing session sir. Never thought history would feel so interesting and now I can say I will easily overcome my fear of history .. Thanks sir
1. (a) History is interesting subject for me after this session. (b) Now I am more grateful with our history (our cultural development) (c) I am curious to more about it. 2. I lack 50% conceptual clarity because of medieval history (memorizing names os kings and time period their battles - oh headache but lesson) 3. Obviously ancient history is more fascinating because of their development without science. 4. Medieval history 5. I will focus on concept and summarize with story.
I need to add one more point, Britishers not from the start were defaming Harappan civilization, The Governor Generals in the beginning of colonial rule were Orientalists who believed that Indian culture was very rich and they should he governed by their own rules, it was the later Utilitarian Governor Generals which told the Indian heritage as culturally inferior, and then to legitimise their authority developed The Aryan Invasion Theory.
3 main takeaways for me- 1)Relating history with present 2)Linking different history periods 3)Understanding POV of a historians. I lack conceptual clarity in ancient and early medieval history as I find it very difficult to link with each other. Modern history is most fascinating to me as it is easy to understand. Medieval era is weakest for me. I will understand a basic sequence of events in history, understand basic human behavior behind this and then study it as a whole.
Need caption sir. It will be helpful to many students.
YES NEED SUBTITLES
really need subtitles!!!!!!!
Need subtitles sir
1. Three main takeaways for me
a) Understand history in chronological order
b) Clear view of concepts .
C) How history is evolve
2. After 10th class I study science so I was not connected with history.
3. I find indus valley civilization, Mauryan and vedic period fascinating because it show how great our civilization was and how rich our ancestors by culture.
4. Medieval history is weakest for me

Bhut jyada jaankaari mili is vedio s … ase Teacher mil jaye to bachho ka भविष्य ही चेंज हो जाये❤
1) 3 main takeaways for me
a. Know the demand of UPSC
b. Read chronologically with low connectivity
c. History evolved with time (Open minded reading)
2) After 10th I am from a Science background so not connected with history so need to make connectivity with history as a subject.
Sir, please include subtitles. It is quite impossible to follow the discussion for one without knowledge of the hindi language.

Take away 1.interlinking chronological, understanding the history.2.medieval history 3.modern history 4.learning chronological order interlinking the concept.
Please add subtitles sir. I don't know hindi but class is very interesting. I watched geography sutra. very helpful session
Three main take aways.for me:
1. Conceptual clarity, enough content, structure
Heyy smriti can we talk a while
The 3 main take aways from the session are:
1.a.conceptual clarity
b. Chronological notes
c. asking questions regarding events and the reasons behind specific occurrences
2. I have a hard time recalling specific occasions, years, and people since history is so huge.
3. Ancient and medieval history
4. Modern history
5. Reading history in story format, making notes in chronological order, multiple revision, making timeline to remember years, events.
He's thorough with immense knowledge and the command he has on the subject. Wonderful! It really helped me to clear my doubts.
Don't take me wrong but (1:00:22 ) there's a little mistake in this, Portuguese gifted bombay in dowry to British not French
Bolte bolte kyin bar hmse bhi glti ho hi jati h
1- a) It is easier to understand the History when we set up a link between the events that had happened. Making a flow chart of the event with relevant information to create a better understanding.
b) Relating the three parts of the History and link up them with our daily lives will make it interesting
c) We should learn from our past and not make same mistakes.
2- I am not able to create the concepts effectively in different situations.I fail to analyse it in all dimensions or to get a deeper insight and lack the ability to make connections in the events simplify the learning process and use the real time examples.
3- I find Modern History more fascinating since it tells clearly why our country is in its current state and the nation
4) The medieval History is the weakest for me. I think there is too much going on so and easy to get out off the track.
5- Understand the chronology and preparing the flow chart to remember events. I will try to relate the events with our daily lives rather than just mugging up the facts.
Wow,In just one hour u revise history without any board, notes and books in interesting way sir❤🎉🎉😊 amezing
1.interlink history with present time
B).try to learn what's the reason behind events
C)build up story while learning history
2.not to interlinked the events and chronological order
3.modern india
4. medieval
5.will try to learn history with cause and effect r/s and in chronological order
3)Medieval history
4)Need to work on Ancient history.
5)Need to understand the timeline of different periods with the concepts and technologies of each period. This makes clarity on each period and will be focusing on the revision.
1. My 3 main takeaways are:
* chronology of events is of utmost importance and should be considered while starting out.
1.What are the 3 Mains take-aways for you from the session?>> Learn in a sequence; understand the underlying theme; relate history to current(administration, economy, art culture)
1.Three Main Take aways
• Big Picture formation of Indian History as a whole
• Learning history in chronology makes it easier to understand the concept and connect it with incidents.
A) like this chronological way is the soo helpful to remember the whole history. thankyou sir
B) lack of conceptual clarity - because maybe lack revision or deep dive and history have more years to remember. lack of analysis
C)modern history is some more fascinating than other
D) weakest era is medieval - may be because of terminologies
E)understanding the topics well and follow the chronology rather than mugging up and prepare chart for remember chronology main points and MORE Revise, analysis

He is saying right .
Thank You
1.
i) Understanding by connecting events.
ii) Remembering History as story.
iii) History is very important for UPSC
15:22 Can we say that the Later Vedic period had an agricultural revolution in India
first one is from Right now ancient history has become interesting to me too.
3) Just develop ENTHUSIASM
I lack conceptual clarity in the ancient history concepts as didn't read it in chronological order.
Thank you so much sir for this. The way you link the ancient , medival and modern was mind blowing.
Kawal sir is so knowledgeable and articulated person. It would be an honour to be taught by him
Thank you sir for providing us good session on History
The three take away for me was;
a) relating the ancient people life with modern people life and seeing similarities between them
b) understanding history in story format
c) each phase in history is interlinked to each other
In history my Conceptual clarity was very weak because I never tried to understand it in story format; and always started mugging up the concept.
I think I lack of a lot of conceptual clarity because till now I was just trying to remember all the events, I didn’t try to associate it with modern times nor did I try to understand it in a story manner
For me the most fascinating period is ancient history because in that period we can study the root culture of India, about many inventions, different types of arts etc.
For me the weakest is medieval and then modern
Ill try to remember history like a story (in fact ill try to imagine it like a movie), will try to associate it with modern time as sir said HISTORY REPEATS will try to link everything. :)
once again thank you so much KAWAL SIR and RAVI SIR, it means a lot.
Sir ne job quit kr diya
1. 3 take-ways
3. I like the modern and ancient also ...in ancient we come to know about various developmental and interesting civilization..(Harappa civilization, there advance culture..)
4.medieval history cause of so many dynasties and kings.
5. By chronologically....
Thank you so much sir for arranging this lecture
1. By attending this lecture, I got little confidence about history. Explanation was given very well so I understood it well.
2. I have studied history till 10th std. After that, history didn't have much to do with me So I have to read History again from the beginning.
3. Modern history period This I know a little too much. Learned this while in school. So I know more about this period than other 2 periods
4. Ancient and mediaeval history period seems to be tough for me bcoz Not much is known about it. I don't remember History events n their period easily
5. I will understand complete syallabus. Then I will create interest in history while studying.
By understanding the concept of history, I will study history by an events.
1. Three main takeaways for me:-
A. Understanding history
B. Clear view of concepts
C. How history is evolve
2. After 10th class I study commerce so I was not connected with history
3. I like the ancient part of indian history basically IVC because they were more civilized and scientific than modern time.
4. Modern history
5. Reading history in story format, making notes in chronological order, multiple revision, making timeline to remember years, events.
Thank you, sir, for the wonderful session!
1. Take away
a. Connecting the events and their background
b. learn events in chronological order
c. Understanding the themes behind the events
2.For me lack of conceptual clarity in history is due to not able to connect events in chronological order.
3. I find modern history more fascinating as it's easy to relate plus connecting and understanding events is easy.
4. Ancient History
It's really brilliant he is such a gifted teacher superrb🎉🎉🎉🎉
1) 3 main takeaways: Linking different history periods and finding common points to memorize, relating history with present days like symbols etc, understanding the history in the form of a story.
2) I lack conceptual clarity in ancient and medieval history as it is difficult for me to connect the dots.
3) Modern history looks easy to me as I will be interconnect it( not best but better when compared with ancient and medieval history)
4) Medieval history is the weakest point for me.
2. Medieval History as I find it simple to remember,
3. Modern history as it has too many facts.
4. Preparing notes to remember history.
1 ans
A-- how to read history
B--- follow the pattern
C--- link them to remember it
2 -- there are lots of name which I can't memories..
3--ancient easy and small
4-- modern ..many events and name
5-- write ,revise, memorize
1) 3 main take-aways for me are :-
a. build up a story while studying history.
1- I understand the a) background of events b) chronology of events c) basic understanding about history
2- I lack conceptual clarity in history like ancient and medieval part mostly because my basics are not clear
3- after the 1857 I like more to study because from here's the war of independence has started
4- ancient and medieval are weakest
5- now I'll study to link past history events and try to find out the relevance of that period, I'll be more curious about history
Thankyou so much for this session ❤️❤️..it created a road map in my mind and clear my doubts about ancient dynasties and their kings...I really appreciate that how they summarise whole history just in 1 hour...thankyou so much
1. My take:
- History needs to be taken as a story but, of course with dates.
Sir please speak in English...we are from South India. And we don't understand Hindi 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Thanku sir for this unique session.....
It's like I study hole history in just 1.5 hrs. Through this session it's easy for me to correlate ancient, medival , morden history . This is something like core video for history
Report
Main Take away
1.Multidimensional view
2.Know why things happened before mugging up
3.Connecting the missing links
Clarity
Connection between the events and not finding the reasons of why it took place
Fascinating Period - Modern History . The freedom struggle , various plans and to keep unite people is difficult for long period.
Weakest : Medieval History
History Preparation.
Including time line , find reasons ,effect of events ,looking for cultural social changes .
This session is truly what we call BIG PICTURE before diving into subject .
Very Great explanation.....Co relation was excellent.
A good and informative video, giving a true and clear picture of all main events of history.
It helps in better understanding of history
Easy to remember in story format, creating big picture formation is very important
Thank you both of you sir for clearing the notion of whole chapter of history really it's a crash course sir. Really you are a gifted teacher
1.3 main take aways
a. Interlinkage
b.chronological order
c.Understand the subject
2.I am lacking conceptual clarity in ancient and mediaeval history because there was no interlinkage between the events.
3.Modern history is the most fascinating for me because it had interlinkage and chronological order.
ancient and mediaeval history are the weakest for me.
5.I will understand the subject, study standard books, make short notes, Practice answer writing for mains and practice MCQS for prelims exam.
Three main takeaways : 1) timeline revision of history
2) inter connecting periods of ancient, medieval history
3) changing perspective on how to study history .
My weakest area is Medieval period as the number of kindgoms or dynasties are many and the particular causes and interlinking of period is difficult
I will read more novels and take a deeper understanding of the subject in order to develop a good understanding of this subject.
The three main takeaways for me have been:
1. it’s important to understand chronology of events as causes and effects are easier to comprehend and understand
2. It’s equally important to take those causes and effects and relate them to other associated things
Thank you sir for this amazing session on history
1.some topics are not much difficult as I suppose to....
2.understanding eras by connecting with technology and theme
3.easily understand difficult topic by learning in the form of story
In Some topics I found lack of clarity due to lack of understanding in right way
Modern is fascinating
Ancient is weakest
Improving by applying key words taught in the session
Wow.. that was an amazing session..we would love to taught history by sir!!
Thank you for this wonderful session 😊 history is a vast syllabus.this session helps the more about history.i will useful for all students
Take away 1. Connecting the events and its background
2. Not to interlinked the events and chronological order
3.Modern Indian History
4.Ancient
1:00:28 French queen or Portuguese queen?
I think Britishers got Goa from Portuguese as a dowry.
Thanks so much both of you sir , I'm full of curious to learn and understand Indian History
It's a tremendous session
My three main takeaways are
1.history is interesting, if we read in a right & chronological way.
2. History is not just about memorization it's also about understanding.
3.reading books for upsc will be interesting if we know a general story of the chapter.
Right sister
Video is so comprehensive to understand ( what need of upsc ) thank you sir👍😊
Sir we can't understand hindhi fully. So atleast insert CC option so that we can understand the session trough subtitles. Thankyou
Omg sir!!! You are marvelous 1 and half an hour me i can clearly have a change on my knowledge...thank you so much sir both
Hello,I need your help
Very informative lecture, sir! I have always read history like a story so it was always fascinating for me. Good to know that my method wasn't wrong.
1. a) It is easier to understand History when we set up a link between the events that had happened.
Yes sir this session is pure in Hindi we can't able to understand sir
@ravikapoorirs4636
1.Key takeaways -
a. Understanding concept and trends of questions
b connecting history with future
c relate with sequence of events
2. i am not able to connect events
3. ancient history is more fascinating
4.medieval history
5. I will try to visualize and start connecting the events
1. Three main takeaways for me
a) Understanding history in a sequential manner
b) Understanding the themes behind events
c) Being familiar with the syllabus more
2. I studied history until 12th and had the subject as general elective in college but due to covid I lost touch with it.
3. I find the Indus Valley Civilization the most fascinating as it was developed in that time period (2500 BCE)
4. I find the Medieval History to be more tough than the other.
5. I will try to connect the dots and form a timeline in my mind so that it becomes easier to recall.
I m looking for a study mate - yes I’m a girl - are you up for it?
Thank you for such an amazing session, sir! It was wonderful to learn about history in the form of a story.
I will understand the context and try to interlink topics and events instead of mugging up the facts.
thankyou sir this chronology which you explain and the linking of the events is very amazing seriously this help all of us . thankyou once again sir
session was amazing, answer to questions --
Deevani right from mughal imperar and nijamat from bangal navab. सायद ये होना चाहिए.
बाकी जानकारी बहुत ही सुंदर है. विश्लेषण बहुत ही अच्छा है.🙏🙏🙏
Such a wonderful session that i ever had.... Simply superb sir...
great teacher
he has all the knowledge of history and its so precise
thanks sir
Three mains take away for me........
(a).. All the era in history is very intresting.
(b).. We can also understand all the concept with sequence wise( all the era in history)
(c)..The one thing to notice that History repeat itself.
2... The basics problem for me is that it's hard to remember the year in which events happend.
3.... Harappa civilization
4...Medieval history is weakest for me.
2 ) In a chronological order
3) how culture and arts are connected .
4 ) how India is emerging from an uncivilised to a state .
conceptual clarity (B): sir it was hard for me to understand many as i lack knowledge in Hindi
(c) fascinating : ancient and medivela and modern,, weakest is medieval .

1. (a) History is interesting subject for me after this session.
(b) Now I am more grateful with our history (our cultural development)
(c) I am curious to more about it.
2. I lack 50% conceptual clarity because of medieval history (memorizing names os kings and time period their battles - oh headache but lesson)
3. Obviously ancient history is more fascinating because of their development without science.
4. Medieval history
5. I will focus on concept and summarize with story.
Wonderful session, I have learnt much more in this short time of session
Really great both of you sir.
