Great content! I started to play golf couple months back and I’m currently Hcp 29.. I’ve been looking to find channels like yours where the creator isn’t a scratch golfer so thanks for all the advices!
    Cheers from Sweden!

it is crazy how open these courses are no trees or anything local courses in california have so much elevation change, tons of trees, huge dog legs. Must be nice to have no obstacles.

This doesn’t even look like a golf course it looks like a farm

Yet you barely have any rough over there. You rough is like our fairway plus your courses are pretty much ideal weather conditions whereas 75% of golf in the UK is played in the rain.

Hi Luke. Nice video. I have seen a few of yours and you definitely make a lot of sense! What do you use to record your audio and video as the quality has gotten really good since the 1st video I saw of yours.

Great tips and a great video, sometimes it's easy to forget that these simple things all lead to lower scores.

Thank you. Everyone is different, when tracking not just more scores but strokes lost I realised I lost a stupid amount to chips and putting, so this was an area that really helped me.
I have friends who chip and put really well but miss-strike a ball a lot! Everyone is different but knowing is what’s key!

    Great tips! 👍🏾
One thing I personally like to do, especially on a course I’ve never played before, is to play from the front or next-to-front tees. My driver has been 50/50 in recent months due to a driver change and the shorter distance lets me hit a long iron or my 3-wood into fairways with ease. I’m consistently scoring in the low-mid 80’s when I do this, which upsets my playing partners!
Since my drives have been unpredictable lately I’m going for a lesson with an instructor I trust (who also recommends adding a stroke to each hole) to see if he can give me some pointers.
    Greetings from Arizona, USA! 🙌🏾🇺🇸

      Thank you!
I believe Bryson Dechambeau when he was young played from the front tees, to get the mentality of scoring PARs and Birdies and slowly moved further back in the tees.
My golf is so mental, once you break some of those mental barriers it can become so much easier.
Good luck with the instructor! I just put a video out, largely around driver. 👍

Subbed. As a 29 HCP I’m aiming to get into the low 20s this coming season.

howd it go, i'm currently 29 hcp and have been for the past year because I havent bothered practicing anymore and just have kept playing. I'm aiming at 20 HCP by june, no matter how unrealistic that may sound.

@@ronaldborrell7338 hi mate - easily doable. I’m off 22 at the minute and aiming for mid-teens this coming season.
Main thing I leaned was to forget about driver - you simply don’t need it. I shot an 89 using 4H off the par 4/5 tees.
I’ve had a few more lessons and can’t wait for the weather to get better.
Good luck - keep us updated!

Nice videos! I really enjoy them. I’m in a similar path going from 30 HCP to now 14. Is a mic attached to you when you make your videos or audio is off your phone/camera?

I had a microphone attached to the phone in this video, but have recently moved to a microphone attached to me as there was too much background noise👍
