Thank you for the support!
Keep up the great videos! They’ve taught me so much! 😄
Thank you!!
Love the vids i have learned so much from you!. Any possible way to set up your yaml with volumes and mounts?
Love the videos. Thanks a ton. I'm having a heck of time getting Leantime to send notifications through SMTP. I have tried two different SMTP servers with zero luck. Any tips or tricks to ensuring my configuration file is setup correctly?
how it would be possible to install this using permanent volumes in the docker-compose file?
These docker apps are great. I'm doing them on my Unraid, and Synology. Also looking at CasaOS.
That's awesome!
interesting tool, going to give it a go. I was wondering if you should review your docker compose file to have persistent storage for MySQL and the file upload/backup db. I am going to do that with my configuration here.
What would I need to add to have persistent storage?
Thanks. And how do you configure it if you already have mysql installed on your server (for your website, for example)? Is it possible to target mysql from docker?
Hi David, thanks very much for help you give with videos. Can you make video about install baserow?!
Already did: ruclips.net/video/B98pTpQUqmM/видео.html
Do you know of a Clio or Rocket matter alternative? I need something more client based with time tracking.
Hey! You should give it another review since their 3.0 launch. They redid like the whole app
Does it have a dark mode?
Does Leantime has mobile IOS and Android app?
can you create a step by step installation of leantime on ubuntu 22.04. classic installation not on docker.
That's a pretty niche video for this channel as we primarly focus on containerized applications running in docker
Does it have native dark mode?
Will be out in the next few days.
Why not just set it up and use Nginx to control the domain name? Anyway, I'm going to give this a try, thanks for the video.
I like using CloudFlare Tunnels for remote access so I don't have to open any ports and I can restrict access based on a number of critera
Docker networking is frustrating... I've been going back and forth with different videos trying to figure out how to get leantime on my network so that I can access the web app but so far no success. I've tried setting up ipvlan and host I just have had zero luck. Anyone know of any good tutorials for Docker networking as it relates to leantime and local web apps?
Any updates?I'm on my third day trying to install it.
Hey man,. I already have a dedicated MySQL server on Ubuntu and I would like to just install leantime on docker. I just can't connect it to the database and get it working. What should I do?
I would never, under any circumstance, run multiple applications on one database. What if one of the applications is compromised and you have to do a restoration of the data for the app? That's going to make you lose the data from other apps as well. Or, even worse, what if someone compromises one of your apps and gains access to all the data in all your apps that are in that single database?
@@DBTechYT I do have separate databases, sql servers are installed on a different server than the server im trying to install leantime on. Also the databases are mapped to another network location (truenas) with multiple redudency. I just cant connect the leantime docker to the detabase created for leantime. Sometime by brain doesn't work!
Oh. I gotcha. That makes WAY more sense. Can you elaborate on this: " I just cant connect the leantime docker to the detabase created for leantime." I might be able to help if you can give me more info.
@@DBTechYT First of all, I'm not a pro
I got an instance of MySQL running on a vm (192.168.100.11:3306)
Ver 8.0.34-0 Ubuntu0.22.04.1
created a new database and user with all the permissions
user='leantime'@'%'
pw=123@asdf
DB=leantime
Docker being hosted on another VM (192.168.100.12)
COMPOSE File
version: '3.3'
services:
leantime:
ports:
- '8483:80'
environment:
- LEAN_DB_HOST=192.168.100.11:3306
- LEAN_DB_USER=leantime
- LEAN_DB_PASSWORD=123@asdf
- LEAN_DB_DATABASE=leantime
container_name: leantime
image: 'leantime/leantime:latest'
restart: always
After launching leantime, I get HTTP Error 500
Do you see anything in your container logs when this happens?
I'm trying to do this with Nginx Reverse proxy and cloudflare, and i keep getting 502 Bad Gateway
If you're trying to use CloudFlare Access/Tunnels, you don't need Nginx Proxy Manager. If you're just using Nginx Proxy Manager with CloudFlare DNS, then I'm guessing that you don't have ports 80 and 443 forwarded from your modem/router to the Docker server running Nginx Proxy Manager
@@DBTechYT I'm not using CF access. I'm using nginx like I've done with everything else. I had leantime working but broke the install while trying to add my own storage volumes so I deleted the container volumes and tried to start over. Once I tried reinstalling I started getting 502 bad gateway. I've tried using a new subdomain set up the same way via nginx and CloudFlare.
*How does Leantime compare to Microsoft Project?*
I've never used Microsoft Project, so I couldn't tell you, but it only takes a moment to install Leantime to check it out and see :)
MS Project is a waterfall Pm tool
How can I install it in Windows?
This isn't a Windows app. This is a Docker app.
bunch of nothing said
I just wanted to give people the experience of talking to you and what they could expect when you're face is making noise.
