Gracias por visitar Argentina Claire, nos regalaste lindos vídeos durante tú estadía en Bs. As. Que tengas un buen regreso a tú país, vuelve pronto, te vamos a extrañar.
Thank you for visiting Argentina Claire, you gave us nice videos during your stay in Buenos Aires. Have a good return to your country, come back soon, we will miss you.
I've been lining in BA for over a year, and I love it too! I'm a digital nomad/refugee from Russia. In my case I can compare BA to Moscow, and here is the noticeable difference:
1. Yes, be careful when crossing the road, including zebra lines :) The rules are different here.
2. Airbnb is expensive indeed.
Better to use local accommodation web-sites in Spanish. I rent a room in the central part of BA for about $250 monthly rent price (electricity, wi-fi, all bills included). It's not a luxury room, but it has air-conditioning, there is a big kitchen in the house, washing machine, a roof terrace with grill equipment, and all the necessary things for comfort life and for work from home. It's also possible to find a nice small apartment with air-conditioning for $350 here, or something bigger if look farther from the central part of the city. Supermarket monthly costs used to be around $100 when I came here, and now it's up to $150 per month (since the official exchange rate is being fixed).
3. The city is beautiful indeed and very diverse in terms of architecture! Which makes it more fun to explore. The parks are beautiful here as well.
4. I totally agree about the food, very well explained :) Oh, and the wine is great here. A bottle of a nice wine might have a price from $2 to $5, which feels super under-priced for the quality given (it’s about 5 times cheaper if compare to Moscow wine prices).
5. Two rates exist. Right now the difference between the official rate and blue dollar rate is not significant as it’s used to be (now it’s about 25% difference, not a big difference if compare to x2 difference as it used to be). But yeah, it’s still better to google the good rate place in advance.
6. I agree about the culture :) And I admire it. It’s very warm if compare to the place from where I came from. I felt safe walking around, including nights, asking policemen and strangers for direction pieces of advice.
7. Something personal to be added. The difference between dictatorship and democracy is indescribable to me... The air of freedom is priceless. Human life and rights matter here. It's like to compare a life being under the gun and a normal human life, which I hope more people will choose.
BA and Argentina have lots of potential! And I hope it will become a capital for digital nomads from all over the world!
Why leave Russia??? Thought you Russians loved to invade??
Добро пожаловать в Аргентину! После 23 лет жизни здесь, не о чём не жалеем 🙌
Very nice review of my hometown, thank you! Glad you enjoy Buenos Aires so much. :-)

hola Claire....te esperamos pronto de regreso....lo mejor del mundo para vos
Thanks for visiting. BTW "merienda" is not exclusive to Argentina but a Southern European custom. You'll find it in Spain, Portugal, Italy and almost all their former colonies. So if you visit any other countries in LatAm you'll be able to enjoy their traditional meriendas too.
Pleasure to have had you with us for a month Claire! and hope you come again soon! I love your music and your voice! maybe one day you can write a song about your experience living in BA, I sure would love to hear it !
Aw thank you!
I had no idea airbnb's were so much more expensive until after I booked mine. Going to try to use other sites for the next place. I'm also really liking the food and drink in BA. And finding so many vegetarian restaurants too!
Wow cool!

If you are thinking about moving to Argentina. Don’t sleep. Buenos Aires, the capital, has everything. We don't exactly know how much success Milei will have… But obtaining citizenship is relatively easy.
Yass and I want me a Argentine husband 🤤 VEN A MI PAPI
Hi Clare....Im heading over there in a couple of months..2 winters in a row...do you have a good referral for apartment rental? Did you like your Airbnb? Cheers
hi Claire! great content and thank you so much for sharing. I am Canadian and thinking of heading there soon, but wanted to ask you if you open a local bank account there and get a bank card? How about starting a business and opening a small company? thank you
