I was down in BA a few years ago. We stayed in Palermo as well! It's beautiful there. We were there in February so I to to experience 2 summers that year! This video brought back so many good memories. Thank you and safe travels!

San Diego also has a century old, magnificent giant tree called Moreton Bay Fig Tree from Australia that is similar to the one you showed us in Balboa Park. Amazing tree...
So relaxing for me to play these videos...

Hey Claire now you know a little bit more of BA, would you say that maybe what you feel about living BA is what we porteños call nostalgia? Well, I do not know if it happens in other parts of the world, but I am personally convinced that there is a good chance that someone staying long enough in BA, at some point will get a glimpse of N the feeling, which is to me something like a magical mixture of sadness because good things end, and hope, because you experience something that let you think that new good things might come. Time will tell. Goodnight.
We also loved Buenos Aires and how green it is especially Palermo's streets and parks. The architecture is great , the people wonderful. We are currently in Cordoba and getting ready to venture to Mendoza. The only negative thing I can say so far about Argentina in general and more so outside of BA but it still applies is the lack diversity in food, the food is very repetitive and spices are not on the menu lol. But overall it is an amazing country and culture .
Argentina like the rest of countrys in the world has is own cousine, and of course it haves limits like any other country in the world. For example if you are in Japan you will find japanesse food everywhere, but of you want to eat another thing like pasta, then you have to roll over to another place where they specially make pasta. And everywhere like here is basically the same situation.
@ivanpaezcabo6300 no offense but that is definitely not true I can get cuisine from all over the world in my small coastal Canadian town and authentic in nature and many countries fit into this category...like I said I love it here in Argentina the steaks and meats are fabulous but any attempt at ethnic dishes outside of Italian are very limited. I am sure that the cost of importing spices and other products required to make such dishes is quite expensive, so I totally understand !
