P&O Iona..Madeira, Canary Islands, Spain, Portugal..VLOG 5 Gran Canaria

Next port of call was Las Palmas in Gran Canaria, this was our first ever visit to Gran Canaria . From the port it was short stroll into town , we were greeted with flags and horns from a local demonstration.
We had no plans on where to visit ,so just kept walking until we saw signs for the beach.Its a lovely beach , a firm favourite for surfers and wind surfers.
We walked along the promenade and then on to the beach itself , before stopping in local Cafe for some refreshments.
On returning to the ship we headed for one of the infinity pools to cool down ,as the weather had been beautiful .
Our Evening consisted of Dinner in one of the main restaurant, visiting the theatre , then enjoying music in a number of different bars.
