    It’s so sad, that the people gave their house to a university and y’all let you fall apart. A disgrace, the College should actually donate it to somebody that will maintain and love it the way it should be....!!!

    I worked at UMKC 20 years ago and Epperson was used for the Architectural school at the time.

    With the money the university charges, it's too bad they didn't use some of it to take better care of such an important piece of history. They have not been a very good steward.

    Shameful...if the university put some money back into it, it could make money for the university. It would be a beautiful place to host formal events and maybe even weddings. And what happened to the books? They would be worth a fortune. They didn't take care of the house but I really hope that the books were properly preserved.

    my father and i (allegedly) snuck in to that building when i was about 7, he was quite unwell and he wanted to do a Ouija board ritual there, and we did it in the dining room, though whats weird is that it was not in the condition of the video in my memory but looked nearly exactly as it did in the black and white photo, even being fully furnished. i need to know how long its been void of the furnishings
