So the reason for pre sanding is to give paint more surface area to grab ahold of.
Also after you tape go over the parts with a light clear coat. It will fill any bad tape joints.

Just found your channel, subbed. If you dislike taping, not sure why you spent the time masking the entire body parts that you were going to primer later anyway. I would suggest just spray the black around the windows, then mask those sections, as you did, before you primer and paint the body. JMO. Happy building. Keep the vids coming.

Great video. If I could make a suggestion, for pushing your tape down for details, try using a plastic cuticle pusher for nails. Haley may know what that is if your not sure. They are super cheap and work awesome.
