Oh my goodness! I went with some of your meal ideas from other videos, looked in my freezer and pantry, and made dinner menus for 2 months. All I have to do is buy perishables (like milk, cottage cheese, fresh veggies, eggs, etc) each month and my husband and I can eat for less then $100 a month! You have challenged me to go back to the way I use to shop when the kids were home. So much fun this way!
Gonna point out a small thing. For Stevia, it's better to use liquid on Keto. The powder is usually cut with dextrose which can break keto if you have too much of it. The dextrose is a caloric sugar and it's used as an anti caking agent. in small enough amounts it's fine but it adds up if you're using more than a couple tablespoons of the stevia a day.
thanks for putting this together: been keto for 7 or 8 years now, and it's still tough to keep the weight off. the last grocery challenge had too many carbs for us, so this is great
I wish it was more clear exactly what to eat in a day versus a meal here and there. Very thankful for this video. Are you exercising, drinking enough water, and fasting? Even so, I know a man who eats about every 36 hours, carnivore, Has lost, but he still has weight loss to go and has been dieting 3 years. I think what matters more are numbers. My leg swelling is down, although I'm still hurting and can't exercise much. My blood sugar won't go below 100, despite lots of IF and very low carb (under 20 a day, forget net, straight carbs.) If you figure it the trick please let me know!😊
@@Amanda-ev3lg I think with being plant-based it depends on where you live and what you buy. Since cutting meat out of our diet, our weekly grocery bill has been cut in half.
@@morenomoms354 I only prepare it for my husband and a little extra if my kids want to try his food, they just eat whatever, sample little of everything, but cutting back the meat stretches the bill now for sure.
Your garlic tip at 19:26 was worth the price of admission. Out of all the Food Network I watch not once has anyone given that way as a way to get the peel off garlic. Brilliant!! I picked up a tip during an episode of The Food Nanny that if garlic leads to a little stomach upset to cut out the center, that little shoot going straight up the middle. Ever since I started doing that garlic stopped "talking back to me"
Yayyy!!! We arent necessarily keto, but a fam of 4 trying to eat a low carb diet, and as much fresh produce as possible. But i also love your budget videos and get lots of inspo from them. This video takes the cake !!
I'm not strictly keto, but I do eat low-carb quite often. My favorite from this video was the chicken over spaghetti squash. That looked so yummy, and I'll have to make that tomorrow lol!! Maybe with zoodles instead. Not sure yet, but thank you for all of these recipes. I'm a fan. 💜
thank you so much for showing this keto way of eating I've been doing it for over a year and I get so many people telling me it's too hard to do or it's too expensive or it's not sustainable I have never had a problem doing it and I've lost 50 lb in the process as well I really appreciate this video
Loved your last video. Also, love the 1 million plus video. Just a tip. I will watch through a full ad, but when there is more than one I usually skip before it is done. Here in Atlanta never heard of WinCo. "Google take me to WinCo"...Oklahoma??? Okay, maybe not 😂

So... I found your channel one Saturday night about a month ago. I adapted some of what you talk about for the full month of Feb. Not so much buying clearance items, but going to multiple stores based on the weekly ads. GIRL! We were at about $700-800 a month for groceries and this month we were at $495! WHOA! I am going to keep trying to reduce the price as I perfect my skills. One thing that stuck with me is to keep in mind the price of items at each store. I need to start a list. I'm not a keto dieter, but dang girl..NICE job being frugal (and fit :D). I'm def. subbing now.
I would love to see this done today and see how much it costs.
Love every single video of yours, but this is my fav!!! Wanting to start keto, but didn't think I could afford it. Thank you SO much!!
I'm really loving all your videos. Thank you for them.
WINCO! You must be somewhere near Idaho? We lived there 7 years and loved it. What i miss the most is winco! WHY don't more grocery stores do the bins! They're fantastic!
Great ideas! Can’t wait to make that angel food loaf. I make my tuna with mayo, that Salad Supreme seasoning and celery salt and then put it on romaine lettuce leaves or butter lettuce and eat it like a wrap.
Aaamaaazingz they all looked delicious 😋 thanks I’m just starting keto so I’m gathering a few recipes from a few utubers 😊🍕
Great recipes Christine! The problem with keto is that once you stop it, you gain everything back. It's also expensive!
