This was my life as a child. I was in and out of juvenile centers, girl school, and group homes. I did any and eveything to escape my abusive, naraccist mother and the children that constantly bullied me in school. By the grace of God, I changed my life around when I found out I was pregnant. Now, 39 I have a degree with a good paying job, and my daughter is currently serving our country.
Exactly! Who does that that woman needs to stop having children if you can't take care of your own children then don't give birth to them or give them up for adoption to somebody who does have time to take care of them. You don't set your oldest child in charge of your children that you decided to have.
I’ve worked with teens with behavioral and emotional issues and they all have something in common, trauma, trauma, trauma. We must do better by creating a living wage (getting families out of poverty), subsidized child care (so children of parents that work have safe care), paid parental leave (to allow for parent/baby bonding), and sufficiently health care in all schools. Sending all the love to these children.
@@zb2363 both of my brothers have behavioral issues and are in and out of juvenile they have no trauma their just bad asf and choose to follow the crowd
Aryanas mum need to give her a break, it was the mothers choice to lay down with a man with no contraception and Aryana is growing up way too soon, she needs a chance to be herself ❤
I love the judge who didn't let the 2 brothers leave. I wish they had programs in there that was mandatory for them to complete before release, like GED, drug/alcohol classes, anger managment, and etc.
Totally agree. The mother lied when she said she would be supervised at home even though the mother knows that she will be at work and Ayryna will be babysitting her siblings. Ayryna could wait until the siblings are asleep and sneak out. The mother also said its Ayryna's job to make up the shopping list. That makes me think that Ayryna is doing more than babysit. Also the judge says she isn't a threat to the community, but Ayryna, along with 5 friends, beat up another girl. That is a really big threat to the commnity!
Her mother is disgusting and keeps her around for her services. I wish the judge would not have released her, and maybe her chances of succeeding in life would be greater.
Aryana's mom is a piece of work. As the eldest, I pretty much endured all the responsibility she did while growing up, but never did my parents ever saw me as "The Help". Once the sun goes down, my parents are in parent mode, while I retreat to my own privacy and not be bothered for the rest of the night.
Bad parenting, or the phrase 'you can't choose your parents' coined by the privileged back in the 90s, come to mind here. I'm an example of a victim of severe domestic violence and had a number of run ins with the law as a teenager growing up in the 80s, although nothing serious. Parents should be held more accountable for their actions, because if a child doesn't feel safe in his own home, he definitely won't feel secure at school and the wider world.
Again the 17 year old lad says he wants to be in a better neighbourhood away from bad things.... But these better places to live comes from the parents of these kids... I know it's not a perfect world but the only way to make itq a better life starts at home... Good luck to all the young people in this documentary to turn your life around and live and enjoy your lives ❤
You're the center of the household is so disgusting to hear and the guilt you're putting on her that she cant fix..and if the mother didnt know or think that she shouldn't have gone to the game how would she think its not ok to go
I find this so sad...These kids needs help before they go on to serious crimes....Not saying they are right in any way...but all been so neglected....This is before serious violent crimes.I do believe they can be rehabilitated before things go over to murders, assualts, etc.Such a sad reality.....😢
That heavyset girl is misbehaving because she's trying to do whatever she can to get out from under her mother. Her mom's running around having all these babies and can't take care of them so she's making her daughter give up her future to take care of her mothers mistakes. I would never in a million years make my child stay home to take care of their brothers and sisters that's disgusting if you can't take care of your children yourself then give them up for adoption to parents who have time to take care of them.
Devon’s death is heartbreaking, he really did seem an intelligent young man but who had made silly choices. Glad the older brother stayed out of the prison system, he seemed like a sweet soul

Both of my boys lived this life. My youngest died at 25 and my oldest is 40 years old and serving 63 months in FEDERAL prison right now…. Last sentence was 53 months.
If Arianna’s mom just stood up and took accountability. “I understand why she is angry. my poor and irresponsible decisions in life have impacted my daughters life tremendously and continually does because I rely on her in ways that a mother shouldn’t as in raising my children.”

Educate yourself before speaking ignorance. In addition, to them being kids! Brain is not fully developed. Maybe like you and the ppl agreeing with you 🤔
He says he just likes driving and that's what gets him in trouble all the time. Well God forbid he should do something positive with that hobby he loves to do like get a trucking license or drive a bus or any kind of a job where you're driving. No he chooses to do the negative and go and steal cars to drive around and do nothing. Who raises these people?😮
Why does the judge in everybody else keep pointing out what his mother is doing and asking him about his mother. You're an adult bro, even if you're 17 wrong with these people
His mom is DUMB and clearly the apple didn’t fall anywhere far. He knows, she knows, the lawyer & the police know, he committed that crime. He has a chance to actually fix his life, and she wants him to stay in jail to learn more crimes he’s definitely gonna have to rely on now cause they do not cater to your life skills in adult jail. So clearly she doesn’t want to put in the mother’s work to help her son get better but would rather leave him in the system for them to handle it is extremely sad. Then gets mad & upset about it was wild crazy!!!! I pray this young man can see, hear & learn while spending his time in the adult facility. I pray he will finally let go of his old habits & not pick new ones up from the adults. I pray this young man is not caught up & harmed while doing his time amongst the adults. I sincerely pray he finds the right path & has a steady life moving forward after clearing all his legal issues.
