    Hey man, I appreciate your videos very much. You're pretty much the only guy on youtube that is doing review and install videos on these in depth and in high definition, and that's extremely helpful for someone looking into buying one of these chassis. I noticed your videos, despite being very high quality and high effort, have relatively low views. I think the algorithm is trying to bury your content, because you deserve much more views and exposure than you're currently getting. I'm trying to do my part by liking, favoriting, subscribe to the channel, etc. I love all your videos, they are all constructive and interesting, but as an AK guy I really REALLY love these videos on AK 's and AK products. I like watching all your HK rifles/pistol videos too, despite my destitute self not owning a single HK. Just wanted to say though, I appreciate you taking time out of your life to make and share these excellent videos with us. These types of videos are the absolute best resource for normal working folks who have to extensively research before investing in our expensive hobby. I'd like to suggest a video idea: you could make a couple videos reviewing the mk3 chassis, then make a comparison video between the mk3 and 2.1, if you're interested in the mk3 at all. I know I am!

      Thank you for your comment and I’m really glad you’re liking the videos so much! Unfortunately it seems like a lot of informative content doesn’t get promoted very much by the algorithm, but I think I’ve figured out a bit of a pattern to what titles and thumbnails tend to do better (inb4 RUclips changes it again right after I post this), and every comment, like, and subscribe helps a lot too so a big thanks for that.
      I appreciate the suggestion! I’ve looked into the Sureshot MK3 a bit already and it’s probably not something I’ll be reviewing myself since the rear railed section doesn’t hold zero, and given that, seems really overpriced for what it is. I’m planning to do another AK build though in the near future, so if/when that happens I’ll have some more AK content then.

      @@Feldmutze fair enough on the mk3, it is definitely an expensive system (it would literally cost more than I paid for my wasr lol). Keep it up though man! The videos are top notch, hopefully RUclips stops trying to bury informative gun content

    Thank you for the follow-up. You are pretty much the only person reviewing these. You ever though about getting the mk3 and reviewing that as well?

      Thanks for watching! I'm probably not going to be getting the MK3 chassis as I don't have another AK build planned currently, and I'm going to be keeping the configurations of both my other AKs as-is.

    Really like paint color setup gives depth to white on tan brown like teture would do with urethane looks great.

    Thanks for the reassembly tip! It either goes back together first try or fights me until I have to count the 10 or swear at it!

      The reassembly can get quite annoying, so I'm glad it helped!

    These seem great, but from everything I see Zenitco is still king of functionality and usability. However, availability is a quality all on its own.

      Thanks! The Sureshot MK3 SHOULD be compatible with other ACR handguards but I haven't tested this myself.

    I love the combination of the magpul butstock and the SAG chassis. Very nice. But why the skyscraper mount? 😅

    • @Feldmutze
      @Feldmutze  Год назад +1

      Thanks! The higher mount has a few benefits, but mostly I prefer it to reduce neck strain. I think the mount just makes the optic looks taller than it really is, as it actually sits at almost the same height as a EOTech EXPS.

    • @foshizzlfizzl
      @foshizzlfizzl Год назад +1

      @@Feldmutze really? It seems to be over 10cm over the barrel, but probably just looks like that. Btw, I like the painting!

    • @Feldmutze
      @Feldmutze  Год назад +1

      Thanks again! I had it cerakoted at a local gun store and it turned out quite well, actually better than I was expecting too. The height over bore with this setup is 3.5" (8.89 cm), which is just a half centimeter higher than it would be with an EXPS.

    Any tips for *removing* the bolt carrier with the chassis installed? Getting it in was easy, but it definitely doesn’t want to come back out… 😅

    • @Feldmutze
      @Feldmutze  Год назад

      I haven't ran into issues with removing the bolt carrier myself so I don't have much. Generally if you pull it back quickly it should be enough force to prevent it from getting stuck on any part of the chassis. Otherwise you could try pulling out the bolt carrier as far it'll go then pulling up by the piston, essentially the opposite of what I showed for reinstalling it.

    • @nickfro
      @nickfro Год назад +1

      Thanks. It *might* be getting caught on the M4 stock adapter…but since I was able to get it in, I should be able to get it out… I’ll keep playing around with it.

    Do you think it would be possible to use a side mount sight attachment such as a midwest industries with the MK 2.1 or would i be better off considering the MK3 with a magnifier on the dust cover and option on the handgaurd portion?

    • @Feldmutze
      @Feldmutze  4 месяца назад +1

      A rear-biased side mount MIGHT work, but I have since tried the Midwest Industries side mount myself and it won't fit with the Sureshot MK2.1. I think you'd be better off going with a MK3 for magnifier use, since that removes any guesswork on side mount compatibility.

    The ejection pattern looks really undergassed. Do you ever have an malfunctions?

    • @Feldmutze
      @Feldmutze  Год назад +2

      No malfunctions so far. I recently switched to a KNS piston so it might be a bit undergassed and if I get any malfunctions I'll adjust as needed. Prior to the KNS piston it was severely overgassed.

    • @nohandle74

      @@Feldmutze can u tell that there is less felt recoil with the kns?

    • @Feldmutze
      @Feldmutze  Год назад +1

      Yes, a lot less. Not so much less muzzle rise, but the reduction in felt recoil is quite noticeable.

      @Feldmutze my sam7 beats me up when run her. I was curious if the piston upgrade would be worth it, especially not being able to supress it.

    • @Feldmutze
      @Feldmutze  Год назад +1

      I think it's worth it. I don't have a huge amount of rounds with the KNS yet (only ~500) but it's been good so far. Installation is straightforward, though removing the old piston can be a bit time-consuming.
