@@deathreaper3609 Actually you get the "push-pull" configuration for your radiator, so slightly improved cooling for that part. Airflow will have to pass through the rad to cool the rest of your system though. Great question. Don't forget to subscribe! Thanks for your support!
After almost 10 years since building my last PC, I'm amazed to see how every bit component has changed in the last decade. My current case is nowhere near this one. Those 2 fans at the front look awesome. It's time for an upgrade for me.
Me too bud, the progress has been super amazing, with tons of new features and especially design. Thanks for stopping by! Please subscribe! Thanks for your support!
Im gonna order it, im getting my PC parts a little bit apart cause its too expensive for me all together, but so far I have my graphics card, motherboard, powersupply and 1TB hard drive
This case is awesome and deserves to be talked about more for those interested in air cooling, it has excellent air flow. I've been using it for about 6 months now with a Noctua NH-D15, 2x 120mm exhaust fans along with the 2x stock 200mm fans in the front and the system runs insanely cool. The CPU gets water cooling like temps, if you're on the fence seriously... give this case a shot !!
I recently got this case. I also use a Noctua NH-D15 CPU cooler. Which brand of exhaust fans are you using? I'm trying to create a fan set up like yours.
We're using Enermax TB-RGB I believe (answering on the road RN) if that question was directed at us. Brand isn't important, just the airflow and rpm can always be adjusted in BIOS. Hope this helps? Don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends to help us grow! Thanks for your support!
@@Techspin Thanks! That really helps. I hope you don't mind me asking a few more questions. Currently I got the H500 case, and my set up has the default front two intake fans, an i7-8700k with the Noctua NH-D15s, and the default rear exhaust fan. I was thinking of getting 3 fans, one to replace the rear exhaust, and two exhaust fans on top. Would that be too excessive? And I'm lowkey thinking of replacing my CPU cooler. While it's amazing, it takes up so much space, that I have to install it last in my build. What do you think?
You're welcome! It's nice to have people appreciate details in your videos, especially when you put a lot of hours into making 'em! Cheers for that! Check our Twitter for our current contest giveaway! Don't forget to subscribe and thanks for your support!
I’m thinking of getting this case for my first build. I like the large fans and the weight. A lot of other cases for 120 are only 8 pounds while this is 24. It looks easy for a first timer like me to install everything
The case wasn't that heavy, but it is solidly built. And the room inside makes installing components very easy. As always, we recommend doing a test build outside the case first, then installing after everything checks out (use the motherboard box to support the board while building). Please subscribe! Got this case before this review came out. Upgraded my old computer with new psu,gpu but didn't get the results I was hoping for. Pulled my old mobo out of my old case and added a asus rog strix 2080 super. Ran it since 1st of november 2019. Just got a new ryzen 9 3900x and asus crosshair hero xiii. 1000w corsair psu. Added a top fan and new rgb rear. Waiting on my 32gb gskill neo to show up this week. Cant wait to power it up
Just bought this case after messing around for two years and working in a nightmare case for air flow that I just bought as a noob cuz it looked cool. So glad to have a cool looking one that's also good for airflow and design. Maybe my cables will finally be managed nicely too!
Cable management only takes about an hour the first time, and successive times you learn and it gets faster. Key part is just the side-visible wires tho 😀 Don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends to help us grow! Thanks for your support!
One of the best "mid range" computer cases on the market. You really get a lot of case for your money, with the 2x200mm rgb fans and another 120 fan, you probably aren't going to find a case for this cost that includes that many fans. Cooler Master sometimes runs a deal including a 212 evo black rgb so if you're interested in this case and you need a better cpu cooler, I'd wait until they run that specific deal.

I honestly think you should have gone with a ryzen cpu so you could get better mother board like a x470 or x570. You could have paired that with a ryzen 5 3600 and that would mae the build a lot better in my opinion. Intel is great but ryzen is better for price and that's a fact.

I love this case. I have another MF200 on the top and the 120mm Halo on the back. The. The Mastercooler CPU cooler. The only drawback to this is no static RGB colors using the proprietary RGB controller. You would need a motherboard than can accommodate 5V 3 pin ARGB connections for better color customization. My MOBO only uses 12v 4 pin which made my 200mm fan RGBs die on startup.

Finally found a great in-depth Review about the Case! The one I was looking for! Thank you & Soon Buying this case (also I found CM MB530P since it is discontinued here in India, I am going for this case)
Nice! Be aware there's two versions, the newer has ARGB, older just RGB. Makes a difference, check your motherboard FIRST to see what connectors you have. You can't plug ARGB on RGB 12V, you'll short the fans. Hope this helps. Check our Twitter for our current contest giveaway! Don't forget to subscribe and thanks for your support!
Well it's not huge but it's a little larger than most, and specious inside making builds easy. Great feedback! Don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends to help us grow! Thanks for your support!
The NH-15 does for but not both the fans. You'll have to make do with only one fan. The second higher fan doesn't fit and will clash with the tempered glass side.
Internal clearance for CPU coolers is 167mm, the NH-15 quotes 165mm height so it will clear, however I'm guessing the front fan overhangs the DDR4 which is causing it to get moved up in your system? Hmmm. Learned something new, cheers. Don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends to help us grow! Thanks for your support!

I bought mine when it $89.99 idk why the price went up. Mine came a little bent from shipping and the glass panel was under tension apparently because when i pulled out of the box and set it down the side panel straight up shattered like I found its secret resonance spot and tapped it with a hammer... so now i have no side panel and no way to replace it short of buying another h500.

@@Techspin im currently between the h500p mesh and the h500. I was wondering whether you think the H500 setup you have with the 3 120mm fans would run cooler than the h500p mesh with just the acrylic top, assuming i'm running a nh-d15 air cooler on both. curious to hear your thoughts! (also i know i could run dual 200m exhaust fans up top on the h500p mesh as well). thanks!
It really depends on what you want for style, they should both perform within a couple of degrees just because how much air gets pushed in from those huge front fans. Ours with an acrylic front is actually at a disadvantage; using the mesh front gives better thermals, but realistically, we render for maybe 20 minutes at a time? It won't impact the render time any. Consumers are right to be concerned with thermals though, and there are definitely cases where the intake is choked, but between these two cases there's not much difference. Gamers Nexus did a H500 review which I believe compared the thermals of the two, maybe have a look there. Good question!
Would you recommend adding a 200mm fan on the top for exhaust. I worry that the 200mm fan on the top would just suck the air out before it can fully travel through the case
Top fans are very helpful, but no need to get a more expensive 200mm over dual 120mm. If you're doing AIO, you'd be mounting the radiator up top, but if you are doing air cooled, then top exhaust fans are useful for keeping temps cool. It's true that the top-most front intake will take the shortest route out the top, but the overall effect helps temps. Don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends to help us grow! Thanks for your support!
Does this case have clearance to mount an AIO 240mm at the top of the case? I saw that you mounted it at the front. Were you doing a push pull with that?

There's two versions, the older RGB and the newer ARGB. Yes it comes with a splitter for each version to that motherboard header. Don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends to help us grow! Thanks for your support!
What size are the fans at the top of the case? , I'm thinking about this for an Ampere build. So far this is what I'm looking at , I-7 10700k , 32gb 3200mhz, 850w psu, X2 - 970 evo plus, Noctua nh-d15, RTX 3080 .(once out)
The top? 3:20 They're 120mm in the video. Can do up to a 240mm rad OR one 200mm fan. Check our Twitter for our current contest giveaway! Don't forget to subscribe and thanks for your support!
Great review ! How will be airflow if I do that :) Top = 2 x 140 mm fan Front= 2 x 200mm fan + 240mm AIO Rear = 1x 120 mm fan Is it good with 2 x 140mm fan on top or 2 x 120mm is better ?
Well bigger fans more more air at the same speed. You could put smaller fans up top, run them faster, or larger fans and slower, which will be quiter. Check our Twitter for our current contest giveaway! Don't forget to subscribe and thanks for your support!
My build has a ryzen 5 3600 with included fan and rx 5700. What should be the direction of each fan to have a streamlined airflow? Fans include the 200mm×2 in front, 120mm at the rear.
Fans intake at bottom and front, exhaust at rear and top. That way you work with hot air's natural physics of rising when heated. In at the front, out at the back and top. Please subscribe! Thanks for your support!
Just one other question, When I built this PC, I didn't think about all the different RGB lighting controls. I have my Ram with "CUE" My graphics card with "RGB Fusion, My motherboard with "Aura Sync" and last but not least, my RAZER keyboard and mouse with their own software. is there ANYWAY to control all this RGB with just one piece of software? Thanks so much!
That's the benefit of picking one manufacturer for your components. If you have 3 or more lighting control systems it can actually have an overall performance impact on your system, be aware! Some software may be able to recognize other components, but not usually. You could always try setting it, and removing the software, see if the settings stay.
Great build and video...I have a MSI tomahawk b450 MB. The RGB port on the board has 4 prongs. I connected the extension and put the remote on. However I can not plug the female jack into the MB RGB. The Connector has 3 holes and the 4th one is covered . How or what did Yu do to fix that issue? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks
There are two types of lighting: 12v RGB with 4 pins, and 5v ARGB with 3 pins in a 2-space-1 design. You can't connect ARGB to RGB, but if you could somehow, you'd fry the lights. I know, the first gen ARGB products were a bit lazy for getting the connector correct, and I fried lights on a 240mm AIO CPU cooler. Usually with an ARGB product, there will be a tiny controller box you can attach the lights to; if not, there are controllers you can buy. Google will be your friend here. Please do subscribe!
Don't know why my posts aren't being posted, but here goes: Thank you so much for such a detailed review of this case! Your recommendation has steered me into picking it up in the very near future. I also had a question: I noticed that you've mounted the AIO CPU liquid cooler's radiator behind the front two gigantic intake fans, will this interfere with the air intake of the huge fans? And will it also interfere with the the CPU's radiator in dissipating the heat, or will it aid it in cooling? Do you get better thermal reduction in this setup of yours? I'm thinking of mounting an AIO GPU Liquid Cooler's Radiator on the top vent, to exhaust the heat upwards and out, what do you think of that setup? Thanks for your time and all!
This or the TD500 Mesh are both decent, for a bit different reasons, but this is currently our main editing rig build. The rad blocking the intake fans does decrease air intake a bit, we've since moved it to the internet accepted, top is the only position allowed default. But honestly temps didn't suffer and allowed us to show off a few more fans in the build, and we had it this way for almost a year without issue and gaming CP2077 in 4K 60Hz no issue. Top or direct-to-outside venting is always the most efficient and best for temps, however we're talking about maybe 2*C here. Not a lot of difference, but a small one. Don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends to help us grow! Thanks for your support!
So u can install one 120mm fan on the top, above ur gpu? and are the 2 200mm fans connected together as one 3/4 pin or are they separate on their own, with their own 3/4 pin? And if I dont care for argb, is it fine to connect them to just the Sys_fan pins?
1)Do you mean rear fan, or front mounted fan? There's room for fans above the GPU area, if that's what you're asking. Each (A) RGB fan has both one fan power, and one RGB connector. The fan power hooks up to motherboard headers like normal, SYS_Fan will work fine. Don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends to help us grow! Thanks for your support!

Hey I don’t have a recommendation on your build but I would like to tell you about this website that allows you to put that all together and make sure that it is all compatible with each other. It automatically does it for you. Make sure that you look at everything there so you know that you’re getting what you want out of your build. Go to microcenter.com, click the three lines at the top left, click system builder, builders, then custom PC builder. If you’ve got any more questions just let me know!
Seems like a pretty good choice, Asus has some good mobo's, you can get a mid-tier one which will perform well, with no real advantage over top tier unless you're heavily overclocking. Noctua cooler though, why....? I'd probably choose a Cooler Master or Enermax AIO 240mm, will perform better with an i7 chip, as the liquid acts as a buffer to high loads, will keep CPU cooler vs air. Unless you really want brown in your case. For GPU, would suggest a 2070 Super. Same price as the 2070 with better performance.
Techspin Even for as safe as they are, this isn’t something I can readily afford to replace, so for me it was about eliminating the point of failure. Granted, looking back, the noctua just from its size gave me some major problems installing everything so it may be something I’ll consider going forward. I’m currently having some issues with it randomly restarting and idk what it is so I’ll be doing some maintenance on it soon. But I went with the noctua chromax edition so it’s sheer black.
@@MyNameIsAhj Yeah those large fan cpu coolers can be tricky to install, checked the all black version and looks good. The random restarts could be a temp issue if the paste isn't fully covering the CPU/pressure if there's not even pressure over the whole die. I'd try first unscrewing the cooler a bit, then tightening in an X pattern. See if that helps. Also, you may want to try re-seating your RAM and GPU, sometimes if it's not 100% inserted exactly it can cause issues in my experience. Lemme know how it goes for you!
Yeah, need to either the reset switch (If I remember correctly) or connect to your RGB/ARGB header- NOTE: They are not interchangeable! I haven't seen the ARGB version but when in doubt, always try that first. Hooking up ARGB to an RGB header will fry your lights. Be patient and take your time. Hi, very cool review, subbed! I got a B550 Tomahawk with this case+ Dark rock pro 4, I am also curious about getting extra fans, this Enermax tb rgb setup of yours looks very appealing, however I am quite unexperienced when it comes to the motherboard setup (first time building). If I understand right the case comes with the rgb splitter, meaning the front fans occupy 2 slots from this splitter going to a single 3-pin ARGB header? 1x 3-pin ARGB slot and 2x RGB slots are left on B550 Tomahawk, am I able to power the enermax setup of 3 rgb fans with those, replacing the rear fan and putting up 2 more exhaust fans at the top. Is this a good setup, if you have a better solution would you please advise? Thanks a lot, very appreciate of your work, only a matter of time when the channel starts growing exponentially :)
Yes as long as the rear and top fans are exhaust, that sounds right. Also double check if they're RGB or ARGB before you connect! Good luck with the wiring. Don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends to help us grow! Thanks for your support!
Great review. I do have a question that you may have covered but if you did I missed it. Being RGB fans on the front I assume they are connected to a controller. Does that mean I would not be able to use fan profiles in my bios to control the fan speeds for those two fans? Also I am not understanding the need for a filtered top. Would you not want the air to be exhausted out of the top, not intake ?
The controller is optional, you can connect it or connect directly to your mobo. Filtered tops are always good, when your PC is off it prevents paticulates falling inside. And you're tight, top fan/rad mounting is ideal, but realistically, front mounting only adds a few degrees as the exhaust fans remove heat pretty quickly. Don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends to help us grow! Thanks for your support!
Fans are DC controlled, and have two wiring bundles, one for power and the other for ARGB (or RGB if you have the older model, you need to verify.) the fans have no light if the ARGB wiring isn't connected.
This case was the only one to give me that ‘this is it’ thought upon seeing it for the first time. HOWEVER, I am doubting now because: I kiiiind of don’t like the extra space between the cable cover and front IO, and I don’t like the PSU halfshroud especially since you will see all the cables in there after taking out the HDD bay (which I intend to do). Someone please convince me to buy this case anyway. I’m a sucker for tighter designs like NZXT but that’s too expensive, but those massive 200mm fans also have a huge appeal.
Awesome video, I am doing my first build with this case, and I am thinking I will buy the same liquid CPU cooler as well, for my AMD Ryzen 5 3600. I was just wondering what RGB case fans those were, and also where to place them for best airflow, especially while thinking about the radiator placement for the Enermax liquid CPU cooler as well. Thanks
They're Enermax TB RGB fans, they come in a 3 or 6 pack. Intake front/bottom, exhaust back/top. My Enermax AIO is right behind the huge front fans, though I needed to use a tiny black plastic project box to keep the braided tubes away from the top front-most fan blades. If you front mount a 240mm honestly you just need a rear fan along with two top fans, so 3 total. Check our Twitter for our current contest giveaway! Ours was not that hot I think. Make sure your fan curve is set properly in BIOS to ramp up and effectively move air in and through your case. Please subscribe, thanks for your support!
After recently getting a 3080 TI a few months ago, I am considering to put a couple fans at the top of this case. What size fans did you put in this yourself? I want to find the correct size as i have the motherboard 8 pin cable going along the top where it might be in the way of the top vent fans if i choose to buy some. I am thinking to go for 120mm, whats your thoughts?
Very eloquently written question! Sorry just seeing this now. We slapped 3x 120mm in the top, although it can handle 2x 140mm or 2x 200mm- although those honestly, while looking great, are overpriced, I'd just get easier to get and more budget friendly fans. Don't forget to check the case specs on the manufacturer's website to be sure. Great question! Please subscribe, thanks for your support!
It also comes in 30 bucks or more cheaper, and the "by glass" vertical mounting position of older cases is not where you wanna mount a powerful GPU anyways, as you need breathing room or temps will be high. Which would have better thermals? Option 1 (identical to video): [Front]: ×2 200m intake infront of a 240 radiator attached to ×2 120mm. [Top]: x2 120mm on top/roof as exhaust [Rear]:×1 120mm exhaust Option 2 (radiator on top): [Front]: ×2 200m in front [Top]: 240 radioator attached to ×2 120mm on top/roof as exhaust [Rear]:×1 120mm exhaust Thanks
Dumping the heat out closest to the exit will always have the best thermals, as with Option 1 the GPU will be using the warmer air the rad is dumping inside the case, by about 3~5* Celsius. Not much, but if you really care about temps, Option 2 is king. Honestly though, depends on what configuration you want, and you can always adjust your motherboard fan curve to ramp up fans faster so there's no difference except a bit more noise. Great question! Don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends to help us grow! Thanks for your support!
Nice job on the video. That front mounted radiator, does that block the air flow from the 2 big fans? I was thinking of mountaing a 360 AIO behind the big fans.
A radiator will block air intake yes, however in a push/pull with the rad fans pulling that air through the rad, it won't be too much of a hindrance to airflow. The top is always the best location for dumping heat directly outside the case but front is fine too, just slap in a few top fans and adjust your fan curve in BIOS to help remove heat faster under load. Don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends to help us grow! Thanks for your support!
You can mount the rad behind the front intakes, no you don't need to remove them. Best temps are always with the rad blowing outside the case, but the only spot for a 360 is in the front. It'll be fine there. Don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends to help us grow! Thanks for your support!
ive ordered this case for £99 before seeing this video lol (finally upgrading from my 2011 case/pc! with NO cable management whatsoever!), what's the difference with the mesh vs the "glass" besides the looks? does it effect airflow/temps by much? - and how easy to keep it clean if swap from the mesh? eg fingerprints/dust etc - only think is now i have to buy an external dvd/bluray drive as 99.9% cases don't have bays anymore! lol) EDIT: Also how quiet is the rear fan? wondering if i should swap it for the one I have or keep that one in.
Yeah, acrylic with side intake is usually 2-3*C higher than mesh straight through airflow. But, we like appearances, so we use acrylic 😂 Don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends to help us grow! Thanks for your support!
@@Techspin ooh, so not really THAT much difference in temp then! I was worried it would be like almost having no fans due to the acrylic screen. - then again my 120mm single fan to this will defo make a difference lol

How can i change colors of the front fans.. like which software to use? I can change it to diff colors using rgb fusion but that only gives me static colors option. .. how can i set it to diff color modes like fade pulse etc..
There's two models of this case, RGB, which is what we reviewed, and ARGB which has since released and replaced it. You need to find out which case version you have, and connect the controller wire to the correct A/RGB header. You may also need to hold down a (reset/controller) button to change it over from button control to software control. Remember to never connect ARGB +5V to an RGB +12V header, you'll fry your lights! We really advise against purchasing 140/280 or extra wide rads as honestly, they're a huge hassle to work around for wiring and fitting, and provide very little to no performance benefit over a normal width. Don't forget that rarely you'll need to remove RAM down the road to fix boot issues, and with a wider AIO this is painful. We don't have wide AIOs to test this anymore, sorry.
Hi there! I have this case almost three years. Perfect running case! Currently on AM4 about to get AM5, already ordered 7800x3d, i have factory setup, quick help, where to add additional fans, exhaust or intake,,,does have options for bottom fans? What would you change for better performance,,,only air cooling will do? Appreciate any feedback Very good review... subscribed
You may need to play with the front 200mm fan speed in BIOS for more aggressive airflow. Spots for fans up top, not sure how hot the 7800x3D gets under full load, watch HW Unboxed for a review showing temps, anything over 85*C full load I'd be looking at AIO but I like air cooling also.
It has filters, the front intake is filtered through the side intakes, or through the changeable direct through front intake. Most of the video shots are with the acrylic front installed. Don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends to help us grow! Thanks for your support!
I'll guess that we installed it fan facing down as there's a filtered intake there, and the PSU shroud has no vents :) Check our Twitter for our current contest giveaway! Don't forget to subscribe and thanks for your support!
Hi, really sorry if you covered this and I missed it, but is it required you use the rgb controller? Or can you plug in the rgb fans into your motherboard
Very good question. The RGB controller is there if you don't have a motherboard connector to control it. Yes, you can hook up the fans directly to the mobo- there are two models of H500, one with 12v RGB, one with 5v ARGB (newer). You can't hook up 5v to 12v, so confirm your mobo has the correct connector for the model you want to buy. Don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends to help us grow! Thanks for your support!
I have the coolermaster H500 (not M or P). It currently has the stock 2x200mm fans in the front (rated at 90 CFM each), however I recently noticed that about a 1/3rd of the fans are blocked by the metal radiator bracket in the front (see picture). The main hole through the support is 120mm wide. I'm thinking that 3 120mm fans would push a whole lot more air since the 180cfm of the 2x 200mm fans is 1/3 blocked and the 3x 120mm fans would not be blocked at all. What do you guys think? Also was looking at replacing the fans with the new sickleflow 120mm fans as they have 62CFM each (186 CFM total), have higher static pressure, and are supposedly just as quite as the 200mm fans if cooler master is to be believed. (www.coolermaster.com/catalog/coolers/case-fan/sickleflow-120-rgb) thoughts?
Larger fans do push more air, more quietly. This case has one of the best airflows as rated by Gamers Nexus... Honestly, it's your money, but you could buy the ARGB type here amzn.to/30MxbxT but even if you got near the same CFM, it will be louder, guaranteed. But hey, maybe you want the look of three fans at the front? Up to you! Don't forget to subscribe! Thanks for your support!
this build is somehow weird to me, why did you put cpu radiator behind those huge fans? they probably blow hot air into case on the rest of components... I would install radiator on the top instead
You can install a rad top, rear or front, wherever you like. For absolute best temps, sure, top is best, but we're talking a few degrees only (depending on case fan speed) just saw a new LTT build with an AIO rad at the front the other day, it's pretty common actually. I am new to building pc and this is a great video! Can i know this set up does it prone towards positive or balance airflow? Also if i change the top fan to 1x200mm fan is it better?
The front fans pull in a lot of air, so it'll be positive pressure, not a bad thing. TBH normal 3x 120mm fans up top will be just fine, no need to grab the special cooler master one. Check our Twitter for our current contest giveaway! Don't forget to subscribe and thanks for your support!
The RGB in my fans that came stock with the case are starting to go out does anyone know if the Thermaltake Riing Plus 20 LED RGB case fans will fit? I'm looking for something a little more updated. I'm currently running three Thermaltake fans via their controller two top and the chassis. So I have two more open spots on my controller.
200mm fans will fit, but we recommend getting 120mm (1400mm if you must) as they're much more common, less expensive and easier to work with. Please subscribe, thanks for your support!
@@Techspin Tysm for taking the time to reply! Would you recommend swapping out the front two for the Riing Plus 12 RGB Radiator Fan TT Premium Edition (3 Fan Pack)?
@Neon-Icon Sure np. That is one option... I'd first test to see if it's an ARGB wiring fault (is all the wiring connected well, no loose connections?) Then try an extra ARGB device if possible. That should narrow down if you need to replace or not. Triple 120mm sound good, the Riing fans I hear are decent. If you want to refresh your case and get USB-C up front, you may want to consider the HAF 500 which is probably double the cost of a Riing fan 3-pack. Our review may give you some ideas.
@@Techspin Mine is the older version with the rgb. I checked all the cables and everything is perfect. Turns out the Armoury Crate and the Aura Sync just needed a update LOL! Always something simple smh! Thanks again for all the help! I'm still considering swapping out the two 200mm fans for three 120's. Instead of the Riing I'm now thinking the Thermaltake Pure Plus 12 LED RGB Triple Pack. I'm already using the triple pack. One as my chassis and the other 2 for my top exhaust fans. That way they all match :)
For those who want to know the dimensions just to be safe ( might need to know if something will fit on desk etc..) they are 525mm L x 228mm W x 502mm H. It also weighs 9.22 kg / 20.32662 pounds.
I'm guessing Cooler Master will include the screws in the box for the matching fan. If you use a different 200mm fan, then normal screws should work, or worst case, use radiator (long) screws. You could always grab 2 off the front if you really need to! Check our Twitter for our current contest giveaway! Don't forget to subscribe and thanks for your support!
Hi I’m really struggling with a build in this case. I’ve got everything installed and when I go to power on the psu makes a soft click, the fan leds blink and it doesn’t power on. I thought I was the 8 pin cpu power cable bc I can get the fans to spin when it is not plugged in but I’m not sure. Any help? I’ve been going at this issue for days. (New ryzen build btw)
With the PSU power cable removed, remove all but one stick of DDR4. Try turning it on. Most of the time you can't fill all slots on the initial boot. First, try clearing the CMOS, usually a jumper, bridging pins super carefully with a screwdriver, some mobos have a button for this- check manual. If it's a power issue: Unplug the power to all connected components, try to keep to the minimum. Disconnect and remove GPU. I'd unplug the motherboard and visually inspect the connector, replug it, and make sure you're using CPU 8pin and not PCIe 8pin- it should be impossible to force it, but I've lost patience and tried to force connectors before, who knows. Even if you don't have an NVMe/m.2 boot drive, you just need to get to bios. With only the mobo 24pin and CPU 8 pin(s) connected, if that doesn't work, try another power supply to diagnose if it's a board issue. You may also want to inspect the CPU in the socket, ensure you didn't smush any pins. If you're down to this point with no luck, probably time to call a friend to help! Good luck with that, let us know how it goes! Don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends to help us grow! Thanks for your support!

I saw that he removed the case with ease but mine is stucked like glue...
Unscrew it and wiggle it out slowly and carefully. Also, vacuum your room dood! But seriously, clean those filters. I've had cats way back in Canada so I know that pain. Hi, I have a cooler master H500 case for my build. Both of its 200 mm front fans wont start at the same time during the boot . One of the starts late. Is this an issue to be worried about ???
We have the same thing happen for us, using the fan splitter cable the fans probably require a bit more juice to build up in their capacitors to start the fan spinning. If the fans are running near full speed I believe they'll spin up almost the same time, or pretty close 😂 We had issues with this during filming this episode, as I remember. Great question. It's an Enermax LiqFusion 240, though the front does support a 360. The push/pull is kinda overkill, but done for aesthetics 😀 Don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends to help us grow! Thanks for your support!
You can connect a 3pin fan connector on a 4pin motherboard fan header without issue. Check our Twitter for our current contest giveaway! Don't forget to subscribe and thanks for your support!
Great vid, i hope you can answer couple of questions, how did you manage to have the 2 big front fans + the radiatior with another 2 fans? isn't better to just install the radiatior or is there any improvment in the tempetures for having 4 fans? Seeing the size of this case i have not doubt of installing a Radeon RX 5700 XT Gaming X without space problems giving the size of this GPU (297mm). I'm in between the NZXT H510 Elite and this coolermaster, i feel like the answer is obvius but just to clarify or maybe im missing something, so, which one would you recommend? Sorry for so many questions. keep up the great work.
Sorry was finishing our next video. We staggered screw placement, with half the screws in, it's very possible. Primarily we did that for looks, the advantage over a push-pull setup like this vs either just push or pull is only a couple of degrees. It's super easy to install in this case, no issues with large GPUs... or radiators, either. The NZXT H510 Elite is good too, but smaller, coming in white, yeah? You can get a CM H500P mesh in white, that's also an option, though it does cost more and there are some other minor differences too. If you need a smaller case, maybe the NZXT? If you want a super easy build experience, try the CM h500/h500P mesh. We do like both NZXT and CM for their case designs.
We have our AIO rad on the front so were doing a push/pull configuration, but that's mostly for aesthetics. Realistically it might make a degree or two of difference, it's mostly for show. We could put the rad up top, but we bought an Enermax RGB fan 6 pack, so... 😂 Check our Twitter for our current contest giveaway! Don't forget to subscribe and thanks for your support!
Wassup! Only way is to contact Cooler Master CS, or get a local shop to custom cut one for you, though acrylic will be cheaper. No easy fix I'm afraid. Don't screw it on tight, the screws should be barely touching the glass. Wish you luck!
I just bought this case and I love it, but how do I change the colour/effect of the RGB fans at the front? it says it comes with a controller? am I missing something?

I wonder if i use rad 360 at front like your build, two 200mm fan will be useless ? Because the rad block the air flow from those fans ?
@@deathreaper3609 Actually you get the "push-pull" configuration for your radiator, so slightly improved cooling for that part. Airflow will have to pass through the rad to cool the rest of your system though. Great question. Don't forget to subscribe! Thanks for your support!

Front fans is RGB or only 1 color?

Do u can change the color of the rgb?
Valoria yes with the included remote

Best case I've ever owned. Cool looking, quiet, keeps my system cool and easy to build/clean. Also one of the best bang for your buck cases ever made.
Can the RGB in the fans be turned off?
Rocky yes

I’m thinking of getting this case for my first build. I like the large fans and the weight. A lot of other cases for 120 are only 8 pounds while this is 24. It looks easy for a first timer like me to install everything
The case wasn't that heavy, but it is solidly built. And the room inside makes installing components very easy. Just bought this case after messing around for two years and working in a nightmare case for air flow that I just bought as a noob cuz it looked cool. So glad to have a cool looking one that's also good for airflow and design. Maybe my cables will finally be managed nicely too!

That 212 Evo black is good too!
My Cooler Master H500 stays so cool , I keep my beer in it!

I just purchased the motherboard but got the upgraded Aorus z390 master. arriving on Wednesday. Picked it up for £184
I honestly think you should have gone with a ryzen cpu so you could get better mother board like a x470 or x570. You could have paired that with a ryzen 5 3600 and that would mae the build a lot better in my opinion. Intel is great but ryzen is better for price and that's a fact.
@@lukemanley3987 mate the Aorus master x570 is £370 , I paid £180 for a z390 Aorus master, how is it cheaper?. don't need 12 threads and 6 core at 4.2ghz, I'm not looking to do graphics design or lots of production, just casual gaming, not even going to overclock, 4.6ghz 6 cores is fine for me. Plus the i5 9600k it's the latest CPU 9th gen , the 3600 is like last generation ryzen?, since they now released 3950x.
Reference , sort by benchmarks cpu.userbenchmark.com/
A copy and paste " the overclocked Ryzen 3600 is approximately 13% worse for gaming and desktop (sub octa-core tasks) but it is 27% faster for 64-core processing. At stock clocks the i5-9600K is around 8% slower than Intel’s flagship i9-9900K but when both are overclocked, the 9600K closes the gaming gap to within two or three percent. Considering that the 9900K is the fastest gaming processor available, and almost twice the price of the 9600K, this is no small feat. The i5-9600K is aimed squarely at gamers who are not willing to compromise on performance but don't want to pay more than they need to. "
But thanks for your opinion

I love this case. I have another MF200 on the top and the 120mm Halo on the back. The. The Mastercooler CPU cooler. The only drawback to this is no static RGB colors using the proprietary RGB controller. You would need a motherboard than can accommodate 5V 3 pin ARGB connections for better color customization. My MOBO only uses 12v 4 pin which made my 200mm fan RGBs die on startup.
*200mm ARGB, you gotta be careful

The NH-15 does for but not both the fans. You'll have to make do with only one fan. The second higher fan doesn't fit and will clash with the tempered glass side.
Internal clearance for CPU coolers is 167mm, the NH-15 quotes 165mm height so it will clear, however I'm guessing the front fan overhangs the DDR4 which is causing it to get moved up in your system? Hmmm. Learned something new, cheers. Don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends to help us grow! Thanks for your support!

Does this case have clearance to mount an AIO 240mm at the top of the case? I saw that you mounted it at the front. Were you doing a push pull with that?

Great video! Planning to buy this case! Does it come with a argb splitter? Cuz i have 1 argb header on my board.

How will be airflow if I do that :)
Top = 2 x 140 mm fan
Front= 2 x 200mm fan + 240mm AIO
Rear = 1x 120 mm fan
Is it good with 2 x 140mm fan on top or 2 x 120mm is better ?
Well bigger fans more more air at the same speed. You could put smaller fans up top, run them faster, or larger fans and slower, which will be quiter. Check our Twitter for our current contest giveaway! Don't forget to subscribe and thanks for your support!
Do you think this case can fit on top an Arctic liquid freezer ii 240 ??
Yes it will
My build has a ryzen 5 3600 with included fan and rx 5700.
Don't know why my posts aren't being posted, but here goes:
Thank you so much for such a detailed review of this case!
Will the 240m radiator fit (placed on top) with atx board? ..nice review btw!
yes it will, but be advised not all AIOs exactly the same ;)
So u can install one 120mm fan on the top, above ur gpu?
and are the 2 200mm fans connected together as one 3/4 pin or are they separate on their own, with their own 3/4 pin?

Is there a way to control the lights with out having thr control panel from the inside of the case?
@@Techspin Thanks. So the fans are PWM? So do thr light a solid color if mo controller is used or just unlit.. white?

@@Techspin I am going for this one! :)
The only thing that sucks about this case that it does not have the vertical gpu mount like the older model
It also comes in 30 bucks or more cheaper, and the "by glass" vertical mounting position of older cases is not where you wanna mount a powerful GPU anyways, as you need breathing room or temps will be high. Which would have better thermals?
Option 1 (identical to video):
[Front]: ×2 200m intake infront of a 240 radiator attached to ×2 120mm.
[Top]: x2 120mm on top/roof as exhaust
[Rear]:×1 120mm exhaust
Option 2 (radiator on top):
[Front]: ×2 200m in front
[Top]: 240 radioator attached to ×2 120mm on top/roof as exhaust
[Rear]:×1 120mm exhaust
Thanks
Dumping the heat out closest to the exit will always have the best thermals, as with Option 1 the GPU will be using the warmer air the rad is dumping inside the case, by about 3~5* Celsius. Not much, but if you really care about temps, Option 2 is king. Honestly though, depends on what configuration you want, and you can always adjust your motherboard fan curve to ramp up fans faster so there's no difference except a bit more noise. Great question! @@Techspin Thank you!
Hi its great vid, i have a question
Can i put 360 rad in front? if yes should i remove the aio fans
- and how easy to keep it clean if swap from the mesh? eg fingerprints/dust etc - only think is now i have to buy an external dvd/bluray drive as 99.9% cases don't have bays anymore! lol)
EDIT: Also how quiet is the rear fan? wondering if i should swap it for the one I have or keep that one in.

@@Techspin with decent asus mobo you can change colours through aura sync
Yeah it supports a few different mobo sync softwares that's true
Is it possible to install a 280mm radiator on top with low profile rams like corsair vengeance lpx in this case?
We really advise against purchasing 140/280 or extra wide rads as honestly, they're a huge hassle to work around for wiring and fitting, and provide very little to no performance benefit over a normal width. Don't forget that rarely you'll need to remove RAM down the road to fix boot issues, and with a wider AIO this is painful. We don't have wide AIOs to test this anymore, sorry.

Very good review...

(www.coolermaster.com/catalog/coolers/case-fan/sickleflow-120-rgb)
thoughts?
1:44 has that info, except for the weight, cheers for that. Don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends to help us grow! Thanks for your support!
Is this a good case to pair with Gtx 1660 and ryzen 5 3600?
Sure. It's roomy and easy to build in, outside looks are very nice IMHO. Don't forget to subscribe! Thanks for your support!
3:09 i want to set the 200mm fan like that on top. But which screws did you use here? I cant screw the fans. Kindly answer please.
Hi, I am going to do my first build ever with this case, any tips on which ATX AMD mobo will give the best RGB control
Look for boards with 2x RGB and JRainbow (5v) headers. Had good experiences with MSI boards we've had in the studio. Don't forget to subscribe! Thanks for your support!
Can anyone help me, i have the same pc case and i have a little problem with the power supply case, it gathers dust and the fan there makes a weird noise cause of the dust and i dont know how to remove the power supply case so i can clean it inside, do i need tools to open it? I
saw that he removed the case with ease but mine is stucked like glue...
Unscrew it and wiggle it out slowly and carefully. Also, vacuum your room dood! But seriously, clean those filters. I've had cats way back in Canada so I know that pain. Oh, the first time getting the PSU cover out was slightly challenging, easier the 4th and 5th times. Check our Twitter for our current contest giveaway! Great video keep it up , can the top of this case fit 2 120mm fans ?
Yes it can handle 2x 120mm, up to a 280mm rad. Don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends to help us grow! Thanks for your support!
could you tell me what is the name of the fan that you installed on the cpu cooler and rear case ?
Oh those are Enermax fans.... although their mmh20 for static pressure isn't the best, we upgraded to Cooler Master Sickleflow now. Don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends to help us grow! Thanks for your support!
how are your top fans working? are they being used as an intake or exhaust??
Due to hot air rising, top fans should always be used for exhaust. Ours are mounted as exhaust.
I think I might get one, the one I have from Digital Storm is a pain in the ass :L
This case is super easy to build in, that removable PSU cover makes a world of difference. Still highly recommend this for any build, and they have a new ARGB version out too. Don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends to help us grow! Thanks for your support!
Hi,
I have a cooler master H500 case for my build.
What liquid cooler do you have in there in the video? The case supports a 240mm on the top but what you have looks like a 360
It's an Enermax LiqFusion 240, though the front does support a 360. The push/pull is kinda overkill, but done for aesthetics 😀 Don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends to help us grow! Thanks for your support!
Hey man, it is possible to connect the rear 120mm fan to a 4 pin right? I dont think the msi b550 a pro has a 3 pink connector
Techspin are the 2 fans behind the included case fans necessary for good temps or am I good with only 3 extra fans?
We have our AIO rad on the front so were doing a push/pull configuration, but that's mostly for aesthetics. Realistically it might make a degree or two of difference, it's mostly for show. We could put the rad up top, but we bought an Enermax RGB fan 6 pack, so... 😂 Check our Twitter for our current contest giveaway! Don't forget to subscribe and thanks for your support!
Yo wasp bro my case TEMPERED GLASS is destroyed haw can i buy a new one?
Yeah, have a look at the instructions, might need to Google them to get to CM's website
