the fact that this brand not only has a pure white but a pure black concealer as well made me so happy! I'll definitely check this launch out!
It has hyaluronic acid which requires damp skin and moisturizer over top of skin or else it will take the moisture from your skin. Explains the drying under the uncreamed eye. When they chuck hyaluronic acid in cosmetics, they should definitely tell you how to optimize use.
This is super helpful thanks - I usually do my eye cream and leave it about 10 minutes before I do my concealer, do you think that would work, or maybe leave less of a gap even? Thanks 👍🙂
Right? This reminds me of the late 90s when they put antioxidant in EVERYTHING. Burned my skin up as a tween trying to use my mom's make up.
I love that you did a full wear test. There’s so much hype around this concealer! I’ve tried pot concealers and I loved the coverage but HATED how matte they were (Kevyn Aucoin, NARS) Liquid ones are nice on application and look so natural but get patchy on me throughout the day. I hope I can get this in my country one day :)
I have EXTREMELY dry skin. I had no creasing, wasnt drying at all. It genuinely looked and felt like skin
I have bought "darkening" concealers from other brands before and it always made me laugh when the supposedly "darkening" shade is lighter than my skin tone, so I can't explain how glad I am that there's a pure black with this launch!

OMG same!! Especially because I have oily skin but dry under eyes. I have been trialling putting on a bit of eye cream just before concealer or colour corrector but still no joy 😭
The best one I have tried is the Rimmel Multitasker concealer. Great price and fantastic coverage, I only use a little for a more natural look so it lasts ages🥰

I’ve personally given up on finding a concealer that works for me 😭 I just layer my foundation under my eyes. My dry skin has been my enemy for many products working for me, even with eye and face creams.
I hate concealers, somehow they always bring out dryness you didn't even know you had, but I really enjoy the Nyx concealer serum 🖤
The white concealer would be great for that old school matte highlighting of like the tops of the cheekbones, inner corner of the eyes, etc.

Hey Robert, thanks for the review. I love when you said “there are NO physical products to….” Lol 😂 people thing concealers are a holy grail for under eye imperfections. I have this concealer in the tan 9 w. I haven’t found anything in the market that matched my undertones and adjusted to my skin as this concealer. I was a skeptic at first but I was very curious Bc I heard 60 shades. With range like that and I have olive skin, I thought there was nothing left to lose. It’s emollient and lightweight but full coverage and sets well and wears well. I highly recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a good concealer

I probably would have never looked this concealer before this review. Now I'm curious lol. I would love to see something like a "product wars" or "product roundup" where you compare different concealer brands and talk about the pros and cons of each and which you would recommend for different purposes, skin types, etc. Might be a nice series to compare similar products of different brands if you're interested in doing that?

Thank you for this, I also love the way the updates were, different lighting and v close, with the different angles and like that “up close and v personal” lol but again love your reviews the way you explain things it’s helpful and now I just really want to get my hands on that white lolol
It’s nice to see a review on a good pot concealer 😊 and the wear test was great too. I always like to see not only first impressions but also the wear tests. Sometimes a product can be beautiful right after application and then only stay nice looking for an hour or two 😑 on the other hand, I’ve had concealers and foundations that I’m not entirely happy with on application but then as it sinks into my skin it looks better as the day goes on. I found this to be true with the new ELF Halo glow skin tint. I am very fair and got the lightest shade. It seemed still too dark for me. But after blending it in and waiting a while it seemed to adjust to my skin tone nicely. Anyway, love your reviews and your content! Keep on shining! ❤️💫🌟

I haven't tried much from rem but I had to give this a try due to the shade options! The shade light 3c is PERFECT for me! I really like how this wears on me too. I hope they come out with a foundation in the same shades. I was very impressed because I know rem hasn't gotten the best reviews.

It's just so natural looking! Can't honestly tell you were wearing anything! Had zero interest in this till you tested it. I'll have to wait though, I'm still waiting for my Milani under eye tint to arrive from Beauty Bay after your last review LOL
I ordered the Milani Under Eye Tint after Robert’s review, too. He was so excited about the product that I had to try it. Got it in pink though I wasn’t sure if I should have done pink or peach for my under eye shadows on light neutral skin. Haven’t tried it yet but fingers crossed. Hope it works great for you.
I know everyone was clowning on Ariana grande, for the look of the original launch. But I got to admit like the majority of this stuff that she's put out even that original launch, I honestly could see her using which is my biggest indicator of whether or not I actually want to check out a celebrity brand. Those are all products I could see Ariana grande herself using, just like all the Fenty products I could easily see Rihanna using. Not to mention like I kind of like that she's going for more simple looks, yes I still love giant pallets, and some crazy lip colors, but but I appreciate the simplicity in her products. I can honestly see someone displaying her products quite easily, and it looks like from what I've seen her products are a little more about practicality as opposed to presentation. By that I mean like those original eyeshadows I can see someone very easily throwing that in their purse, you're not going to throw a giant palette from morphe or wet and wild or colourpop in your purse. And honestly after the pandemic I kind of think a lot of people are just looking for simple straightforward makeup looks right now as opposed to like a crazy cut crease or a really intense lip look or what have you.
I've been subscribed to your channel for some time but not sure I have ever commented as I rarely do. I really enjoy you and your channel. When I watch your videos, it feels like I'm chatting with a dearly loved friend. I love your authenticity! Much love from Texas!
I love this concealer. It’s probably the only product from hers I like. I work 7am-10pm and this lasts on me and looks natural but has coverage.

I haven’t even watch the video yet but so exited to see what you have to say. I personally absolutely love it! Finally concealer that I don’t need to set with powder (which just always looks horrible on me) and lasts all day beautifully ☺️

60 different shades of concealer blimey 😲! If you can't find a colour to match you in that little lot, I doubt you'll find one anywhere. I'm definitely going to check this one out. Thanks Robert xx

Honestly the best concealer I have tried, was really skeptical but decided to give it a go, got a shade close to my skin light 5 N and another for contouring Deep 1 N and there was almost no creases. I was absolutely stunned ( I did set with a little power though!) I also did full skincare routine including eye cream! Give it a try if you are curious!!
So glad you reviewed this concealer. It looked beautiful on the eye cream prep'd side. With all those shades I should find one for my Casper like skin tone 😂😂😂
Have you tried the TikTok hack for making foundation transfer proof? Where you put your foundation into water before applying it 😳🤯 Nikol Johnson has shown it on her channel and says it actually works BUT I'd value your opinion on this hack 😀😀😀
I anticipate if it was set with powder it’d crease. I recently invested in Milani’s long wear setting spray which makes me wonder if using one of the long wear setting sprays would keep it from looking cakey and creasing.
Milani Make It Last has been life changing for my oily skin in summer. Makeup actually stays on!

I was so shocked at how much I like this concealer. It has become my new go to color corrector but they don’t have a good shade for me to use as a brightening concealer
How? There’s 60 shades! And there’s also a pure white concealer that if you find a concealer with your right undertone you can mix it in with the white concealer to make it more brighter/lighter of a shade
yes I can mix shades but I meant there’s not 1 shade I can use on it’s own. I prefer not to mix
I don't wear foundation anymore, I just use a little concealer and then cream bronzer&blush, so im curious about this one🤔🤔🤔 I use the Item Beauty concealer rn and I love it, but I could use another concealer cuz my complexion changes so much (I have olive skin) so I could definitely talk myself into buying a concealer I don't need🤣🤣🤣🤣

Try the Bobbi brown concealer, it’s a bit expensive but it covered all my hyperpigmentation from acne scars, didn’t seem to crease and was thick but somehow not caky. It lasted all day for me and was a radiant finish.

Might give this a look. I really am trying to find one to wear that gives coverage but not thick.
I have EXTREMELY dry skin, and this looked very OLD on me LOL. Even when I used way less, and it didn't look good. I went HEAVY on the skin prep, and that made it even worse. I had to take it back asap. Oh well :(

I had a concealer that was too light, and I added black to darken it. It turned grey before it was a good shade for my skin tone. If you have a shade too light, I would stay away from the black, but if it’s your shade to begin with I’m sure it would be fine.
the black to darken is best used for dark skin tones, it will not work for light ones, not even remotely.
Mine got a little creasy, so I had to layer it with a more moisturizing concealer that didn't have as much coverage.
I really want try this concealer but I live a place where I can't see the it store so it is a bit of a gamble, and when I look at the shades online, all of the fair shades look very pink, peach or yellow.

I think this would be something I would only use for spot concealing and not under eye, I tried it in store and it felt far to dry for under eye. It looks very similar to the nars soft matte concealer
When you checked in from your car I realised what a beautiful shade your eyes are.

@@sallyfrench007 the eye creams or moisturizers I use are "fine". I never found one that amazed me 🤷🏼♀️
And I'm pretty into skincare (first watched James) because I'm prone to eczema.
All the stuff others rave about I'm like "yeah fine"...
I went to watch Tatiana Westbrook bc I binged all these and I was like yikes. She doesn't even compare to my Robert 🙊🙈

I really need someone who has super dry skin and under eyes to do a review so I know if it would work for me but there don't seem to be a lot of people with my skin type which is desert dry with eczema. Most beauty YT have combo or oily! :/
