Honestly, Ariana's makeup is what I used to expect of 'celeb' makeup brands based on the quality of older celeb brands (lest we forget Jessica Simpson's makeup line, lol). Fenty and Rare might have been the exception, not the rule...but then, makeup production has come so far in the last decade, surely it can't be so hard for someone with Ari's wealth and connections to make something more of a step up?

I think people are disappointed with REM beauty because everyone was expecting a Fenty or Rare beauty moment but we got drug store instead, some products even worse in quality than drug store. Rare and Fenty beauty have become makeup staples whereas I don’t think Ariana was that serious or involved in her makeup line. The fact that it’s Morphe already tells me a lot. She probably just wanted makeup that she could sell to her teen and preteen fan base who will buy anything with Ariana Grande’s name on it.

Not only does no nobody need another neutrals palette, but adding her name to the product drives up the price for an "alright" formula. And I can't believe that they had anything to do with testing and perfecting a formula that mattered to them in the slightest, so does the product mean anything to them at all? Useless all around.

I dont think it's celebrities bringing out products that's offensive, it's the unfair and unbalanced ways that big companies can use celebrities and their wealth to market inferior products to the masses. Their massive wealth and the reach of their marketing teams gives them an unfair advantage over every other smaller business out there. These companies don't need more money, these celebs don't need more money. Its more nauseating than offensive. Just support your local small businesses instead. In every area there's a struggling small business who'll appreciate your purchase. Google where to find them and support them, stop handing money to these big companies. Vote with your money and be the change!

While of course no one would confuse R.E.M. with Ariana Grande, when you have a musician releasing a product that shares a name with a different musician is the definition of confusing. The only difference between the names is the capitalization - the periods are in the same place per their website (I've seen the periods missing in some other publications). It baffles me that R.E.M. hasn't raises a hand to say, "Um... No. Just no."
