I also heard that the court system got sick and tired of dealing with both parties lying and manipulating against each other and sort of gave up on them. I also heard that Veronica was going to be getting her custody back, that day. That it wasn’t just a visit. Well obviously police need to be involved during such an exchange. That was a big mistake, right there. If I were that pastor, who lost his wife, I’d be suing the police department for negligence and not acting appropriately knowing that the circumstances were volatile. What part of serve and protect did that department forget about? Sure, they hated the two psychopath parents, but the rules of Veronica needing to have an adult volunteer accompany her, put those innocent people’s lives, at risk; a risk that the police department and social services department refused to take!
