I like the bottom line that you give at the start of the videos but I think if you record the actual unboxing whenever you get a product for review and just insert it into your timeline before your full review it would make the video even better!

i agree but i assume since this is a review unit directly by the company that it didn't come packaged as new

I've got one now. Trying to use it as my daily driver.
I gave up on trying to port over my messages from my old phone though. It was a nightmare.
The screen already has a small crack and I haven't dropped it.
The texting ecperience is a LOT better than I expected to be honest. Sure, I can't type at full speed, but mindfully typing works well.
Definitely needs better speakers. A better camera. A finger print scanner would be good, but not the end of the world.

Contact Bigme to ask about the crack. If you did not drop it, it should not have a crack.

I love this idea. Would definitely annoy me enough (in a good way) to get me off my phone. However, I think onlt supporting 4G is a deal breaker for me. A lot of places have limited to no 4G coverage as 5G antennas are hung so there would be a lot of places I simply wouldn't have coverage. If this had more modern specs (more up to date OS, android 11 has plenty of security holes patched in newer versions) and 5G, I would absolutely buy one of these.

Would have loved this if it had more bands in Australia and nfc. Hoping the minimal phone ships soon

i would wait for the pro and review. The sound of this smartphone is trash, which by the pro shoudnt be a big problem, cause it HAS speakers

@TagTaamusic There are others too like LP3, although it's way too expensive and the minimalist phone

Thanks for the review. Does it heat while watching videos?

They'll reinvent something less good, triple the price, then call it remarkable at best.

I would buy it. E-ink don't make your eyes tired and you can read for long time. Another advantage is the long battery dura y. If you read on a very brightly place you don't feel snoozy. Of course this tech is new. There are colour e-ink out there and the reflash rate needs to improve. I can tell with no error that this technology will replace LCD on smartphones in the near future.

It's a lot healthier for your eyes and reduces phone addiction for those who have bad phone habits and struggle with mindfulness. Keeps it as a tool rather than a doom scroll toy.
