    I love to know How to build a portable power box version 2, and plug in my stuff to a DIY Lithium Power Box Build. I have several accessories that charge in this power station. This build reminds me of the video build a portable power box for $20. This is the best yet cheap power box that is perfect for camping. I could make this box better by making it a portable solar generator as well.

    Man this is a perfect diy battery for camping. I've been looking for cheap alternatives to power stations for a while. I'm gonna go with this build. My only question (as a layman aka dumbass) is how do you charge the marine battery? Does it have a dc input port that plugs into the wall?

    • @TBassFactory

      It’s all good just use a 12 volt car battery charger and get it back to full charge

    Thank You So Much For This VERY Informative Video!! I'm planning to build one this week for my Trunk-or-Treat. However, it's "Stupid Question" time ... How do I recharge the battery in the box after using it for a couple of hours? Can I simply connect it to my running car battery for a period of time - like jump staring a car?
    I have two Trunk-or-Treat events, one day after another, Each event will likely tax my portable battery.
    Thank you

    • @TBassFactory
      @TBassFactory  10 месяцев назад +5

      Yes you sure can and that’s not a stupid question. If you have another battery you can hook it up to it and have more capacity. Kind of like if you hooked up the car but it wasn’t running. I hope
      It works out bud!

      Depends on the battery capacity but easily a couple times. Definitely a car battery would work

    • @MunkyWrench
      @MunkyWrench 3 месяца назад +1

      car battery will work but it is not designed to discharge power from 100% to 0.. it is only designed to go from 100% to about 80 percent .. anything more than that damages a standard bAttery.. A deep cycle battery can discharge more like 50% before damage and can be recharged for more cycles.. so in the very short term u can use a car battery.. in the slightly longer term you can use a marine battery.. for long term you should use a Lithium battery and you can get them for as little as $25 .. This is a great video to get you started and I hope you make one of these.. its a great tool to have

    Good Job! I have done one. Came in handy in Canyon Lake last Feb when power was out and it was 8 degrees. I put an inverter in the 12v plug and had lights and phone recharging capabilities. I use it tent camping as well.

    • @TBassFactory

    • @TBassFactory
      @TBassFactory  Год назад +2

      Those motors can take a lot of
      Amperage to run and if it does the draw on the battery wouldn’t let it run too long but I could be wrong until you try it. If you could have a car running and tie jumper cables with 2 batteries and then run an extension cord out I think you could make the run time longer.
