Hi nice video! :) Can I ask how did you learn finger drumming? Is there a resource you can direct me to? I'm thinking of melodics but it's very pricey.

I have been watching “quest for groove” channel, and he inspired me in alternated hands layout and playing methods

Also check out "Beats by Jblack". He's da goat! 🤩

Compared to the MPD witch do you like better?

MPD has better, bigger and more sensitive pads. I like it better. But TempoPad has MIDI out which is helpful sometimes

I also have these pads. I agree that pad sensitivity is medium, but OK for the price. It's possible to increase the sensitivity by putting stickers on top of the contact foil. The contact foil is the layer between the pads and the circuit board. I already did that on my MPD218 (I had a terrible one), and it worked perfectly. Of course warranty is void after opening the box.

After playing with it for some time sensitivity is acceptable

@@coffebeats Cool! I've removed the rubber mat from the bottom in the meantime. That was possible without destroying it. Just draw it off. Maybe it's enough to lay another foil on top of the existing one. I have some foils for overhead projectors here. I'll report back, if I'm successful. Generally all pads work like this.

Device opening went fine. The knobs, and the tip of the power button have to be drawn off to remove the circuit board. Inner production quality is good: no glue, no tape. Next I'll prepare some foils by using a cutter and a metal ruler. Not sure how many foil layers I'll need (micrometer steps).

@@coffebeats YT censors don't like me, so I can't write detailed instructions. In short: It worked with multiple layers of sticky tape.
