Hey Eric for those of us who can't get out and do this kind of stuff anymore please make the videos longer. I always wanted to visit the Keys but now I have missed it. So please show as much as possible I really am enjoying this.
So glad to see you toughed it out... The worst day of living free, dealing with the things that come up and break down is miles better than slugging it out in this work a day rat race. Enjoy every day Eric.
You made me realize just how much I miss living in the Keys. Time to pack my bags again for a road trip!!

Amazng video, it's as if you have a camera man the way you paddled away from the camera and towards the camera on your kayak Your hard work paid off - another amazing video. I had no idea Florida was this wonderful until you showed it to me.

You could always get a 3 day fishing license for something to do. With where you're at and kayak rentals you should be able to catch a few different species as well as paying for your license by catching your dinner too. Plus all that would make for interesting video.

Eric: Thanks for yet another great video. I'm glad you are enjoying the Keys. I've only been by on a Cruise Ship. I think it would be cool if you got a GoPro Session and strap it to Jax back, then let him run in the woods. You can get a Tile to find him.

if you have a chance check out Bahia Honda. Also the KOA in Sugarloaf Key will be good to park at.

More fun to go canoeing on Russian River in Sonoma California, which you totally missed being in so much of a hurry to get to flat Florida. Watch out for the gators and pythons when your in the water down there. YIPES!
Eric when you get to Big Pine Key you can turn off on the right on and drive out 3 miles to No Name Key Pub on Watson Blvd that is famous with walls and ceiling covered with a million dollar bills!!
Also visit nearby Blue Hole which has Key Deer and at least 3 alligators and big turtles at the viewing platform looking for a snack from you.
I love how you film the coming and going scenes, I'd love to watch the behind the scenes of you rigging the camera to get those. Great video with my morning coffee... Eric and Jax and hazelnut coffee, is now a Vagabond Mango morning tradition!
Great video, I really enjoyed it. My husband and have scuba dived in Key Largo several times and it's amazing. You will love snorkeling there. Have a great time in the Keys. It's a very relaxing place.

you used to not be able to do all the fun stuff! glad u can now.... also u used to love boondocking... what happened? now u r always in parks? u taught me how n no matter how much money I have I still love it! Jax is so delightful!
+Jayme Witcher ? I still boondock 95% of the time. As in the last 5 videos all in a row and 2 nights in this video you commented on. I have to check in to a park once a week for water and to dump tanks otherwise I'd keep doing what I'm doing now. Not sure why you think I don't boondock anymore. But that's ok. thanks for the comment!
I was just there last week for a field trip! There's a great restaurant you should check out called the Hideout next to MarineLab. Hope you have fun in the Keys!
You need to go to Key West and visit Duval street. A lot of history there and that island is the southernmost part of the US

You put a lot of work into these videos! Glad I got the wrong impression from other videos that you did not allow yourself the time to linger and do things like hike, kayak or snorkel. My bad. These types of experiences are awesome, I think, and I am glad you got a chance to do them.

When I was there I stayed at Sugar loaf key KOA, nice. With all the Canadians heading back to Eskimo country, they should have lots of RV sites
+simki1 Problem your looking at $100+ a night. Besides the state parks, the private parks are all over $80 a night. Some in the $150 range.
the scuba diving museum in islamorada is pretty cool you should check it out

Eric try the Key Largo Kampground. I stay there a lot and they may have a space for you. Its around mile marker 98 south of Pennekamp and behind the Publix.

Free parking at Anne's beach, although you cannot stay overnight. You can rent a kayak and paddle to the reef.
Law enforcement will not let you boondock anywhere down there, the further south you go, the more likely you will get hassled.
You don't seemed too worried so you probably have a plan....

Might be your biggest challenge yet to boondock in the keys. Good luck. It'll be worth it. Stay as long as possible...
