When I watch other RUclipsrs that are into home renovations, I’m always asking myself how do they keep their house so perfect with a husband, 3 small children and a dog with white everything, how come I can’t do that with a husband and one dog?!?!? But you just keep it real, especially when you say how this is a “lived in home” not a “show home”. But your home is beautiful, and you are extremely talented! Thanks for sharing!
When you walk in and see the slats with some peekaboo green, its gives you a nice pretext for the rest of the living space. The whole house just flows so nicely. ❤️

It might sound basic or generic, but getting in touch with an investment broker was how I was able to outperform the market and raise a profit of $250,000 since last year sep, For me, its the most ideal way to jump into the market these days

Why would you not put there a shallow wardrobe for all the jackets, shoes and bric and brack . That s what most of European houses would have in their hallway. All mess closed off. Looks nice, but pillows in this spot are completely impractical , and eventually that lovely wall that you worked so hard on , will be covered by jackets anyway. Sorry , I just don't see the point

It's so beautiful! You should do what you love, you have great taste. Our year is still a bit rough, hope things will change for the better. My husband, daughter and I got sick with "the" virus. Hubby and me ended up in hospital with pneumonia, I couldn't even hold my phone to watch anything! We're better now and catching up! Lots of love 🤗❤🌻

After you finished that, I thought but there's another spot on the other side of the hallway. That side is gorgeous!. The black stain provides a nice accent to the light wood. I was happy the sanding and wax took care of the issue with the boards. What a lot of work. SUCCESS!
You did a wonderful job so please don't worry about what others think. Thank YOU so much for starting off using a brush to stain your bench. I"ve always thought not allowing the stain time to settle into the wood piece before wiping it down was a waste of the product. I Like the black color you've chosen. I thought I was buying those hooks but I ended up buying the stick on ones for bathrooms 🤦♀️🤦♀️ BUT, they have the screw hole in the bottom as well so I might be able to modify it!

Love it. Wish I had a proper entryway so I could incorporate some of these things or owned my home. Lol. Another tip for DIYing your own table or bench, look on FB marketplace. Tons of people in my area actually have live wood edge slabs or just plain slabs of wood for sale super cheap compared to Home Depot or Lowe’s or even free. There are also many people giving away giant oak trees stumps from trees they’ve cut down or companies that know people are always looking for them, which is great if you know how to woodwork and are willing to do all the prep to get a slab out of it.
What a super DIY! Love it. The tray for the shoes, could it also look nice if it were in the color of the floor? I love the black stained bench.
