YOU DON'T HAVE TO REPLACE THE SWITCH! You can easily fix the suspect switch. The cause of the window not working is the switch contacts build up with carbon. All you have to do is carefully take the switch apart and clean the contacts with WD-40 or similar on a small piece of paper towel, using a small screwdriver to wipe it back and forth. Put the switch back together exactly the same way it came apart (it pays to take a photo as you disassemble). IT WILL WORK! This technique works on all makes and models that use this type of rocker switch (which is most of them).
Just replace it man. It’s not expensive

Not likely to work on the driver's side "switch" because it's not a switch at all. The other three are switches, the driver's side is a carbon track multicontact device. It didn't clean up with electronics cleaner, and it stayed intermittent. Amazon has a replacement with a lifetime warranty for 25 bucks. Crazy to even try cleaning it up, but I did anyway and it was a total waste of time. The device is surface mounted on a multi-layer PCB (at least 3 layers) and the solder joints have a protective coating on them. Not going to easily reheat/reflow those, and by the time you do, you could have bought 4 new ones from Amazon. No, not an electronics newb here, been building circuits and fixing electronic gear at component level since 1973.

@1:05 Thank you for showing that cover removed with the bottom of the pocket (or whatever it is called) out. I didn't realized that bottom should be removed before the whole cover and broke mine by that small pocket, so now a slit is there. Doesn't matter much, it can be glued and even without the glue it is not much noticeable. I also ordered a new cover fm/the Nissan dealer. But it is good to know what was the problem, and why i couldn't remove that rear part of the cover. I want to add, that before any testing, it is better just to try a new switch (they are like $20-22 on Amazon, and it is good to have that switch as a spare part anyway, bcs they are notorious on Nissan Sentra to go out of order (our went out @~60kmi, and on another car we have 2001 Saturn SL2 the switch works well @ ~130kmi). I replaced the switch, everything is working fine, but I also ordered extra one for the future. Thank you again.
If anyone who has a B16 Sentra 2007-2012 driver side window stuck, the colors you are looking for are White w/ red stripe (+12v accessory power), Solid Blue, and Blue w/ red stripe. There are two Blue w/ red stripe wires right next to each other, the one you want is next to Green w/ yellow stripe. To roll up attach a piece of wire to a solid metal ground on the car and jump this to blue/red, then jump the white/red to the solid blue. To roll down, attach ground wire to solid blue, and jump white/red to blue/red. Make sure you have the key in on position or it will not work.

I changed the window master switch for a Nissan Rogue 2008 SL AWD as I had intermittent issues with the windows (sometimes they would be stuck and not respond)
After I replaced it, I noticed than when I press the door/unlock switch of the driver and passenger sides, I hear the "click" of the door lock/unlock but the doors remain unlocked.
I am not sure if it is an electrical issue, as I can lock my car just fine by manually lock from the door handle by using my manual keyfob.
I don't know anything about cars. Would you not check the fuse first? Just wanting to understand. Thanks.
because the other windows work. there is not a seperate fuse for every winow.
So I have this exact problem. My window is stuck down. I don't understand how to jump it to get it back up. Can it be manually pulled up for now? How?

My locks and windows doesn't work on the driver side but when i unlock it on the passenger side it opens on all but i clicked the windows on all 4 doors doesn't go down any help it was working earlier

It's a 2004 nissin sentra driver's door window and powerlock wires color code on the switche plug
I have a 2015 nissan and all my windows are stuck and none of them roll up when I try to use the windows button on any door and the lights don't light up for the buttons just on the driver door
Same with my Altima. Did you get yours fixed ??
@@skipbayless7912 the driver door has a lock and window panel you can pop off and I went and messed with mine and it works but still needs to get fixed nothing major

@@Milltao3 take off your driver door lock piece like he shows and mess with the locks and wires but this guy went out of the way I just messes with mine and watched videos and fixed it
@@Milltao3 look up, how to take lock panel/piece off driver door not the panel the *lock piece* you pop off with like screw driver wrap it with a Towel idk but it fixed mine when I just messed with it
What two wires did you jump
I’m gonna add to my own comment. He jumps these two wires. Dark blue on bottom right corner (easy to see) and then the he jumps the blue and red wire next to the green and yellow one. Make sure you get these right or you will frysomething. But hey I got my window up so let’s go!!

Vito did you notice if the light on the inoperable switch was on or not?? I have the same symptoms on my car however the light is still glowing on that specific switch, leading me to believe it is the motor. What do you think?
The switch is most likely bad. The light is there for the night illumination, I believe
@@VITOSGARAGE Ok cool. I was thinking that if the light for night illumination was still on than there must be voltage properly going through the switch. The window doesn't move up or down so I thought this may be a way to "test" the voltage to the switch without having to use a multimeter/voltmeter/test light

Same problem with my 2011 Nissan Juke. All my windows are not working and also the lock & unlock button not functioning. I checked all my fuse and they're good. Should I replace the power switch? Thanks in advance Vito.
It's possible that your main power switch is bad. Is the lock/unlock button part of the main switch?
Also, if you try to roll the window down using the rear switches or the front passenger side switch, do the windows go down?
Thanks for the reply Vito. I found and fixed the problem. I thought it was the power switch at first. So opened the door panel and bypassed the connection if there are bad wires. To my surprise, after removing the door panel, I found out that the buttons were loosely placed and wasnt flushed. After putting it into place, the windows started working again. Good thing I didnt buy a replacement switch.

@@wlacroix10 Electric window motor or wiring. Needs to be diagnosed
What are the two wires you touched to make it go up?
What are the materials used? In getting the window do go up without replacing it
