Lea Salonga is a powerhouse that defined the role and is definitely a legend in the Broadway community, but I must say Eva Noblezada did a marvelous job with the role 😊

well her first talent is her Comm Skills. She has the diction and the accent, which is why you wont see a lea salonga impersonator in Philippines. But those who can mimic the accent may just be able to sound exactly like her, after all this is an act.
The whole play was uploaded 3 or 4 years ago. Then idiots rush to chop the show into bits and pieces and pretend like they own the copies. Somehow all those videos got reported. So it took years before they resurface. The whole video which was available for months was gone.
The only time there will be someone who'll beat Lea Salonga in her own craft is if she goes back in time with all of her skills intact and do it all over again.
I can listen to this song all day long without a problem and love every minute of it, but when i watch the clip and see her facial expression it kills me, i get choked up and teary eyed.
Miss Saigon was the first musical I ever saw performed live. I was only 10 years old but 27 years later I still remember every single moment and every single song. It has touched my heart so deeply. I have seen many musicals over the years but Miss Saigon, and Lea, will always have a special place in my heart.
I start crying as she sings “you who I’ve cradled in my arms”… I think of my sweet baby. He’s now 3 and without hesitation Would do what Kim did without a second thought. This song guts me.
'Magicians' talk about magic, but true magic comes from a soul and sound like Lea Salonga. When you drop everything and listen to her, you just think WOW. How can sounds like that come out of a simple 'ape', as we all are? She's gut-wrenchingly amazing and I'm glad I saw her live in Miss Saigon at Drury Lane in the 90s.

In the Philippines, no one sings like Lea Salonga. No one can.
There is try to search Reflection Filipina Cover.. Look for the Filipina student With glasses she sings Reflection in the Classroom and it's so good
well her first talent is her Comm Skills. She has the diction and the accent, which is why you wont see a lea salonga impersonator in Philippines. But those who can mimic the accent may just be able to sound exactly like her, after all this is an act.
There is. Just not famous
one can but becomes a man.
I just realized, she literally gave her life for him at the end.
Still the best version. Lea is. Amazing. The expression, emotion... not only her diction and voice, I can just feel her.absolutely amazing.
it’s september 2020, the first time i have watched this
October 2020 for me 😅
The whole play was uploaded 3 or 4 years ago.
I can't watch this whole video without breaking down. It gets too personal.
i just can not put into words how amazed i was with ms leah salonga. how i wish i can see her perform.
Makoi Chua ÿ
Her voice always gives me chills. This and a really well performed Bui Doi.
Her voice is richer than her circumstance
One of the most magical power of a singer is being able to feel the emotions of a song without actually experiencing it .
This is the best performance of this song. Her face and conviction while singing her last lines does it for me. ❤️
Powerful voice , i like her performance. yun lang kahit pop songs ay nadadala pa rin ang pagiging broadway.
No matter how many times I watch Lea sing, she still gives me goosebumps 😵😵 who's watching this in 2018? 🙋
outstanding, I wish I was able to see her performance.
I can listen to this song all day long without a problem and love every minute of it, but when i watch the clip and see her facial expression it kills me, i get choked up and teary eyed.
GOOSEBUMPS! Literally listening to this while looking at my 1 month old son sleeping. I cry 😭
She's a musical genius.
If You Actually Watched This Video To Answer The Modules Correctly,
Your A Good Student
Miss Saigon was the first musical I ever saw performed live. I was only 10 years old but 27 years later I still remember every single moment and every single song. It has touched my heart so deeply. I have seen many musicals over the years but Miss Saigon, and Lea, will always have a special place in my heart.
Lea simply plays the role of Kim with such POWERFUL EMOTION. She was born to play the role.
Incredibly magnificent voice and performance. The world is a better place with a voice like this! Bravo!
I’m not a parent yet, but this is a very intimidating glimpse of the emotions one will go through…
There is not one time, where I’ve listened to this and not bawled my eyes out
Lea is amazing. I... I cannot express how amazing she is. Thank you for uploading this
I start crying as she sings “you who I’ve cradled in my arms”… I think of my sweet baby. He’s now 3 and without hesitation Would do what Kim did without a second thought. This song guts me.
May I ask?Who is the scriptwriter of this theater?
'Magicians' talk about magic, but true magic comes from a soul and sound like Lea Salonga. When you drop everything and listen to her, you just think WOW. How can sounds like that come out of a simple 'ape', as we all are? She's gut-wrenchingly amazing and I'm glad I saw her live in Miss Saigon at Drury Lane in the 90s.
Lyrics:
You who I cradled in my arms
You, asking as little as you can
Little snip of a little man
I know I'd give my life for you
You didn't ask me to be born
You, why should you learn of war or pain?
To make sure you're not hurt again
I swear I'll give my life for you
I've tasted love beyond all fear
And you should know it's love
That brought you here
And in one perfect night
When the stars burned like new
I knew what I must do.
I'll give you a million things I'll never own
I'll give you a world to conquer when you're grown
You will be who you want to be
You can choose whatever heaven grants
As long as you can have your chance
I swear I'll give my life for you.
Sometimes I wake up
Reaching for him
I feel his shadow brush my head
But there's just moonlight on my bed
Was he a ghost, was he a lie?
That made my body laugh and cry?
Then by my side the proof I see
His little one, gods of the sun
Bring him to me!
You will be who you want to be
You, can choose whatever heaven grants
As long as you can have your chance
I swear I'll give my life for you
No one can stop what I must do
I swear I'll give my life for you!
2019 anyone?
They need to put a complete series of videos from the live stage musical like this one into a DVD.
I was able to see Miss Saigon on Broadway and Los Angeles. Both were spectacular. I just saw this for the first time, and I am in tears. The raw emotion she delivers is simply, heartfelt.
Sings with such passion!
Maganda, Ms Salonga! You are such an admirable role model for humanity! God bless you and salamat for inspiring. My dream in life is to inspire Filipinos, and I dream of starting my charity in PH one day. INgat ka and happy holidays! - Blaise
Had watched this and it made me cry a river...silently. The best portrayal of the character.
Who is the stage Designer of this theater?
Wow! Goosebumps! It put tears into my eyes. All that emotion! Lea is so talented, one of the very best
