We might have the same problem I even changed part of the harness and think it has the same problem. Did a direct wire and no problems. Then installed and came back. The wires get pinched on the steering wheel bracket. Bad design by dodge. Make more room. I soldered the pins then installed with direct to pump. Test drive no check engine. Hook up to factory wires test drive no check engine I. Test drive. Installed dash and it’s back instantly. To drive around for two hours no problems the. Put it all back and it came back was a complete piss off. I have over 40 hours on this. Even checked the wires with a tool to see if any breaks. I think the pin in the harness or the wire in the first 10” is the problem.
I not only had to resolder the green board for the specific fuel gauge but had to just solder over the entire top left and it worked checked voltage reading on scanner and it fluctuated depending how much I stepped on the gas, prior to this it would stay stuck at .25 volts
Besides hitting it, what was the problem and how did you solve it. Wasted time.
Could be 2 problems level sensor or u need a new gas gauge
I have changed the pump and the cluster...b4 i found this video...any other suggestions
