[PoE 3.24] Poison Rain of Arrows CoC Ice Nova of Frostbolts Occultist Starter Teaser for 3.25

League start testing for the next has already begun, and I'm pulling out all the stops! This video is the third of many teaser showcases for a starter build I have in mind for 3.25. This build features the brand new transfigured Ice Nova gem, which benefits greatly from an alternative proc source for Frostbolt projectiles. It plays much the same way as CoC Detonate Dead would, does less damage but gets the enormous benefit of chilling and freezing enemies. Oh, and it's not going to get nerfed in the immediate future (probably).
We'll revisit this build with a formal guide after the 3.25 patch notes are released. Stay tuned!

I'd prefer to stay away from clusters if I can, but you're right this is a solid way to do it. Upon further playtesting, I'd say it's pretty mandatory to have 100% uptime on some spell life leech here.

i feel a huge nerf hammer coming this league....they probably want to make 3.26 a huge expansion with buffs so they need to get through a shitty nerf patch before they do that

I think this concept not link starved early red maps 4 link can work from there ez clap to 6 link , 3.24 one thing that helped me was to get curse chest and get enfeeble going in the backround + PB , had to route tree to iron will + unnatural instinct to enable enfeeble on blasphemy

should drop cruelty from main link and use something else. with that low of a base hit it will never go to max (40% dot dmg) and any other support will just be better.

My guy, this is why the mapping showcase exists. You can see the buff sitting at 40% in the entire deli T17 intro of the video. I wouldn’t use cruelty if it was unreliable. And no, I don’t have the mastery helping it sustain.

so, stupid question but, why 1500% increased attack speed? Where did it come from? And above all, that a "cast on crit" is not done on a whim, it is necessary to be able to superimpose the attack rate with the effective trigger rate according to levels of cooldown so that it is a minimum opti. Although there are 41 projectiles per attack with rain of arrow, it would be necessary to simulate on a mono target, how many arrows on average hit this mob, to estimate the attack rate needed to reach the first level of 7.57 trigger rate of ice nova by including 14% of cooldown recovery rate.
When I saw the first video I was not happy, but there is no way that I do not shout a little.
Example, I put 14% cooldown recovery rate to reach the first level of trigger rate, by modifying in your customs modify the value of the attack speed by 400% and also adding ( because it’s a fraud at this stage but we don’t care at worst we’re closer to that ) accuracy rating up to 1500 flat for hit the 100% and there MAGIC, assuming that you only have an arrow that touches the mob, you earn 4m dps. Except that rain of arrow is capricious, is broken it will be 5 then 8 then 2 then 15 arrow that will touch the mob, and it will be anything but not optimal, including mapping.
Anyway the idea is there, but I hate to see builds that are capricious, not be respected a minimum on what to know about it. Especially when it’s a type of build that I’ve mastered on the game.Yes on paper the build works, but it’s very ugly as a CoC build.

1500% attack speed came from how Jungroan setup his PoB for a recent CoC DD build I saw him make. I presumed it was used to force maximum cooldown reduction for cast-on-crit. I know him to be a build maker and someone who cares deeply about honoring PoB configs, so I assumed this was fine.
Sure, it's always tricky figuring out the projected attack rate on something so complicated as Rain of Arrows of Saturation, but for sure the DPS comes out higher than it would with no extra configs in its favor.
