This works because you only just deleted the file within the 30 days, therefore it could be recovered. What if you've deleted a file over 30 days ago?

This video is old, but the method still applies. Start a chat and they will try to help you by initiating a recovery process. If your deleted files are recent, there's a pretty good chance you could get all of them back once the process is completed.
If pics and videos are deleted completely from google photos instead of googlr drive ...then what to do..?

Yeah, I literally wrote an entire BOOK about a year ago but deleted it because it was stupid, but now I just realized it was actually really good, but can’t get it back.

Guys if your not able to find the Chat option..
search as Chat Support in the search bar and you will find an immediate response from google people and they will do the needful :-)

@@TechGeekShan I thought before they would keep them at least 60 days, like in Google Photos 😐. But I guess they got megatons of items coming to their server each second 😁, that's why they give a delay of 25 days and not beyond!

The exact way to contact a Google chat specialist seems to have changed (I did not find "Call / Chat / Email" buttons in the help section any longer), but if you search around and are able to find a specialist to chat with, they can still help with this problem.

I don't guess there's anything you can do if you reset your computer and lost files, I know such files were never deleted or sent to the trash. I just wish there was a way to undo resets and get My Drive back to the way it was before the reset.

As of July 2021 there's no chat option found but just sending a "recover" request with no option to add any details.

there is no chat option but if you goto help center and select recover deleted files and scroll to the bottom you can find "contact us" option click on it and sign in with Gmail ID and they will do the rest.

The fact that after you "delete" the files .. Even though you can't see or access the files. The space remains used.. Should prove to everybody (that uses Google Drive) .. that Google steals your data. Your files are never "permanently" deleted.
