How to Recover Permanently Deleted Files from Google Drive

- This video will show you how to recover permanently deleted files from Google Drive. Files get permanently deleted once you delete them from the Google Drive trash or bin. However, you can still recover them if you deleted the file from the trash by mistake within the last 25 days. You need to contact a Google Drive Support Specialist at support.google... if you use a Google Drive consumer account. This video steps you through this process.
Note that the Google Google Drive Support Specialist can't handpick which file to recover, so he recovers all the files you have permanently deleted in the last 25 days.
If your Google Drive account is with school, work or other group you can contact the admin of your organisation, and they may be able to help you recover your permanently deleted file from your Google Drive.

Hi Anoop, try the same procedure as with recovering Goolge drive files and hopefully a Google support technician will be able to help you
@@tigertips5309 There is no technician on Google photos. I tried my best to contact them. The only way to contact them is through community post. A similar problem was faced by many to which they have replied that if it's manually deleted by you from bin nothing can be done to recover it😫

just go to contact support , and they will restore it for you without even talking to you . thats what i did and they instantly restored my drive .

Hey! I've restored a few videos from the trash but I can't seem to find it on my google drive. Im suspecting that it's because I've permanently deleted the folder that the video was originally in. Do you think the videos got restored back to the deleted folder?

Hi Surya, I am sorry to hear you are struggling to get back pictures that are important to you. I guess try the Google support team and put a strong case to them and hopefully they will help you out. It seems in some jurisdictions the Google support teams are more helpful than others.

Sorry to hear that John. Google might not have it, but the files could still physically exist on your computer. When you delete a file the 'address' to the file is deleted but the file can still be present on the system. There are recovery tools out there which can recover deleted files on your computer, but I am afraid this is beyond the scope of my competence. If you are on windows maybe try searching google for "recover permanently deleted file on my windows computer" and see what comes back.

Fraid not, Google customer support is the last port of call methinks. Unless you can get some software that can read deleted files that still may be on your hard drive.

If it was stored in Google drive and permanently deleted you have a chance of recovering it. I am not sure where your internal storage is.

Hi David, I would just see if Google support can help you. I don't know if a max cut off exists for retrieving old files. If you are paying for Google apps (GSuite) you have more of a chance of retrieving it. Less so with the free version of Google account, Google are now providing less and less support for people with free Google accounts.
