How to Recover Permanently Deleted Emails from Gmail

- Recovering permanently deleted emails from Gmail is a challenging process, as Gmail provides limited options for retrieving deleted emails. However, there are a few steps you can try:
1. Check the Trash Folder: Deleted emails are typically moved to the Trash folder in Gmail. Open the Gmail website and click on the "Trash" folder on the left-hand side. If you find the deleted email there, you can move it back to your inbox or any other desired folder.
2. Check the Spam Folder: Sometimes, Gmail's spam filters can mistakenly move important emails to the Spam folder. Open the Gmail website and click on the "Spam" folder on the left-hand side. If you locate the deleted email in the Spam folder, select it and mark it as "Not spam" to move it back to your inbox.
3. Use the "Undo" Option: After deleting an email, Gmail provides a brief "Undo" period during which you can reverse the deletion. Once you delete an email, a notification will appear at the bottom-left corner of the Gmail interface with an "Undo" option. Click on "Undo" to restore the deleted email to its original location.
4. Contact Gmail Support: If the above options do not work, you can try contacting Gmail Support for further assistance. While they do not guarantee email recovery, they might be able to provide some guidance or assistance based on your specific situation.
It's important to note that if you permanently deleted an email by emptying the Trash folder or deleting it from the Trash folder after 30 days, the chances of recovering it through conventional means are extremely slim. Gmail does not provide a direct mechanism for restoring permanently deleted emails in such cases.
To prevent permanent email loss in the future, consider regularly backing up important emails using third-party email backup services or email client applications that offer backup options.

You just saved a life. Thank you so much. It originally stopped at 99% but as soon as I changed my password and added more security checks, it worked. Thank you once again
Your commented also helped; all I had to do was change my password and it worked! 😅
This video doesn't show a person how to retrieve emails that have been deleted after 30 days. In fact, email can't be recovered after 30 days! What a waste of time making this video!
I did this and i get 8.985 emails back ! (Since 2022 😮).
How did I get anything? He said, “Unfortunately, it has been deleted. Please teach me how.” @@GillettePretPakket
Yep, same here. I just recovered emails that I had permanently deleted about a month and a half ago by following this!!

Thank you! I got my emails back but I have a question. If you accidently marked an unknown number of emails from many different senders as "report as spam and unsubscribe" do you still need to re-subscribe once they are restored? How do you know which ones you need to re-subscribe too?
