I think the natural reaction (not influenced by the hate train that occurred all over social media when this came out from other fandoms who were jealous of them cracking the highest sales in 4th gen before this was even released) is like what you have said here. People's reactions to the song on yt and at first aespa's fandom was really good. But the hate seemed to gaslight and change their opinions and still lots of people on the internet pretend like this is their worst song. It is one of my favorites though. OH MY GOODNESS YES YES YES!!! I just have to say that this was a masterpiece like HOLY COW, this is one of my favorites from them maybe even my favorite because WOW they went OFF on this comeback (people actually dislike this one for what reason not sure, and this and Black Mamba are tied I think) the way they were telling us to bow down and to say Wow, yes I will do so Queens what in the WORLD!! Dude as a person who also has bangs I loved that pretty much every member had bangs they looked Gorgeous with them, I also got to say the Dance, the Vocals, the Visuals, the Rap just everything was PHENOMENAL! Like Karina with that blueish hair and her whole look she can STEP ON ME what in the world she was just STUNNING and her Vocals, Rap, etc she went crazy again just Wow and her note at the end oh my God. Winter was just WOW like her hair was Gorgeous I mean her whole look was just AMAZING, her with the sword she can slice me and I would not care and at 7:09 that high note just kept going up and up. Giselle does not get enough love SHE WENT FOR MY THROAT during this come back as well like her Rap was just Amazing and her Vocals are actually VERY stunning she deserves a lot more love and that black outfit on her is everything (at 6:58). 8:38 The REKALL is the highest SYNK LEVEL. There exist 3 levels: the 1st one is when they can communicate with their aes by sharing through text/messaging. The 2nd is the communication through voice/video. The 3rd level is the REKALL, it's when the aes can enter the P.O.S. to meet their human counterparts in the REAL WORLD. The SYNK level increases the more they share stuff/communicate/having fun etc with MYs. The aes are the embodiments of the data humans are sharing through social media. aespa calls them by MY as that's their synonym for "most precious friends", like us fans. There exists an extra level called SYNK DIVE only NAEVIS can establish. It's when you synchronize your consciousness with the aes. It's the only way to enter FLAT and KWANGYA which humans normally can't enter. Now you know what they meant by NEXT LEVEL, it's the SYNK level they are referring to.

I wasn't really a huge fan of the mix up style in their first songs. In Black Mamba it was okay, but in Next Level and Especially in Savage it got too much for me, so I was extremely happily surprised when this song came out. They do mix things up, but it's still "within the bounds" of the style of song it is, and The bursts of almost Metal, the rapping, the horns in the background of the beat, Winters fricking highnotes... Amazing. I really like this, and MY World, and I'm Unhappy, so I hope they stay in this style of music. This is definitely my favorite of their songs so far, and this song is singlehandedly what got me into Aespa as more of a serioys fan. I'm glad you enjoyed it, but there was NO way you _weren't_ gonna enjoy it. :P
