Hey everybody! Thanks for watching this video on, "My Favorite Song...by EVERY Musician?". This took forever lmao. Thanks to everyone that sent in their recommendations for musicians. I hope you liked this! I think it's my longest project to date. Feel free to comment down below with your own favorites (wonder if anyone would match me and list their favorite by every once of these artists?). Thanks for all your support.

Props to Alfo Media for listening to every artist who ever made music deep enough to form an opinion - and then turning it into a video less than an hour long. Legend.
He missed 6ix9ine
@@BigMoney398 can we even consider his art music or is it just a dumpster fire somewhere in California?
@@BigMoney398 No, he missed Michael Jackson
@@gameitornot chief keef as well
Nah, he missed a lot, but it's okay cause a video about every Musican ever is practically impossible.
I don’t know most of these songs but something about listening to you talk about songs you love is very comforting
THIS VIDEO IS ALREADY A CLASSIC
thank you Alfo for your gruesome hard work we love you
People really forgot to suggest legends like Michael Jackson, Queen, Mariah Carey, Tupac, Johnny Cash, and countless others. I think this just goes to show how much great music there is.
+ Dolly Parton, Teresa Teng, They Might Be Giants, Bob Marley, Tupac, Whitney Houston
@@A.Mayflower127 Eminem is one that I recognized on the first watch of the video!
I was so disappointed when I found The Beach Boys, The Rolling Stones, Van Halen, Iron Maiden, The Who, Bruce Springsteen, MCR, Fleetwood Mac, Tupac, Michael Jackson, and Creedence Clearwater Revival weren't included.
@@BrendanJSmith unrionically why I came to this video lol
he already said tupac
As soon as this dropped I saved it in order to later enjoy it to it's fullest and it was an absolute joy listen to you discuss some of your fav music for a full hour, from so many artists, many I love myself and many others I shall check out, , had a real great time
spent two hours with spotify open, pausing and adding new songs. Always super helpful on discovering new music. Excellent video man keep at it!
Funny how we listen to almost the same artists and still I would’ve picked a different favorite song for basically everyone haha. But everybody got different taste, that’s the great thing about music. Awesome video, keep it up!
i absolutely love pulp and i’m so glad they were mentioned in this video because they definitely need more recognition for their work! if anyone’s wanting a good song to listen to underwear is definitely one of their best imo! great video
This video was amazing. You are constantly showing me artists I've either never heard before, or I've just never given a try. But since I respect your opinion so much, it makes me go and listen to that artist I never gave a chance to. So thanks for the new music that I'm always fiending for.
That list of artists you weren’t as familiar with had some excellent names, I think it might be fun to dive into them
MinecraftAwesumePlays
im river btw hahaaaa
Stp, Semetary, and Ericdoa are a few of the standout ones for me
I actually throughly enjoyed watching this whole thing! Loved hearing our differences in what our favorite songs are and also loved finding artists I hadn’t heard of before.
Thats why music's better than people. Simple.
i watched the vidoe fully and enjoyed it,ty for making this! i appreciate you!
Thank you for acknowledging “Here There And Everywhere” it has been my most played song on Spotify for a few years and it is one of the most underrated songs of all time. So thanks for mentioning it
So many great calls in this. Totally onboard with the talking heads, pheobe, and daft punk picks
Lots of great great takes on this one.
So many more great artists to cover. Looking forward to part two if you have it in you?
sick my tryouts playlist is now almost 8 hours long. Honestly massive props just for making this entire thing.
I watched the whole thing and I want more. Is there chance for a part 2?
The one we been waitin for 🔥
loved this video ! everytime you mentioned a song from an artist I recognize, Id put it in my queue and checked it out later
One of my favorite videos ever. You sir, are an amazing content creator.
If you did a part 2 I’d love to hear what your favorite ELO, FKA Twigs, Queen, or Dorian Electra!
Ain’t no way he’s doing a part 2😂
Love Maze is a good pick! It’s one of my faves too it just has a super fun sound, also Partition, good pick 😌
You deserve a lot more subscribers. It's obvious how much effort and thought you put into your videos 🙂
Never been this early for an Alfo media video
Same

yes! i didn't even know till i came to the comments
Congratulations
u have to make a part 2, there were so many artists u missed
This video took 2 hours to watch because I was busy looking up all the songs I didn't know.. Thanks for fleshing out my spotify playlists man. Loved the video.
Now THIS is early, also loving this idea :)
I apreciate the effort u put in this video
Woah thank you for recommending a lot of metal and electronic and love that inclusion of jazz and Prog rock
Would love a spotify playlist of these songs to listen too
Seeing Left at London was a good surprise, and that's a good pick. My personal favorite of hers is Safety First, Ballad is a close second.
elton john is one of my favorite artists ever, but i would have love to seen your song or saturday nights alright for fighting. i’m honestly just happy you’ve talked about him for once. domt worry i’ll comment again when sufjan comes around
What did you think of No Shade?
imo your best video ever, ill be coming back to this video if im ever bored of my music taste, as i do that a lot for some reason lol
Completely agree on the Sweet Trip pick, Design: 2: 3 has been of the most impactful songs to my life that I can think of and it still blows me away everytime
I like better Fruitcake and Cookies, but it's a really great pick too
Such a sweet surprise to see strawberry swing, it’s one of my all time comfort songs
i just came out of watching this entire video with 14 songs i'm really excited to check out!!!
as the self proclaimed number 1 zack villere stan, i very much appreciate you taking my suggestion and talking about him. makes me happy.
i saw him debut sore throat live in new york once, that was a lotta fun
OMG! Ive never heard anyone talk about the garden before!! I love them so much and they're so underated!
Holy shit, holy shit this was the comment I was looking for!!!!!!!!!
I love them too!!
you just put me on to so many new songs
Oh my god I knew you were cool but you naming Leave a Tender Moment Alone and highlighting the 1985 Live at Wembley performance for your top Billy Joel pick put me over the top. You are certifiably cool.
Making my way through the video, interested in seeing your picks for Kanye, Sade, Steely Dan, Stevie Wonder, Sly & the Family Stone, Warren Zevon, The Police, Fiona Apple, D'Angelo, Bob Dylan, and Neil Young (assuming people asked you about them, some of them I'm sure you'll cover, others I'm not so sure)
You should definitely do a deep dive into The Doors. They have more than just their well known songs that deserve a mention
Watched the whole thing. My liked songs on Spotify has increased quite a bit, thanks.
I genuinely think this one one of the coolest videos you’ve ever done, even if you weren’t the biggest fan of the band you could still find a great song from them and take time to prose thier efforts I think we could use more things like this in the world today and I thank you for that!
Ive never heard anyone else talk abt the nostalgia of Rockband! Affected how I hear classics like Dani California and Black Hole Sun as they fit this special place in my heart
I listened to a few of these and have to say they're some real bangers. It also got me listening to some of the other songs by the same artists/bands.
Gonna need another one of these videos
I've gotta say, I am impressed, that you named everyone from the Big 4, nice one :D
It might have taken you forever, but it was worth it because this is a fire video
1:06 Just clicked on this vid for fun and saw Manic Street Preachers on the list, the singles compilation National Treasures is a great place to start if you're a total novice and then you can choose the albums to dive into if the singles take your fancy
I disagree with a lot of picks here obviously, and there’s a few great artists like PVRIS, Foster the People, Dua Lipa, Foo Fighters, Etc… but I couldn’t agree more with Lana Del Rey’s The Greatest being her best, it might be my favorite song of all time
I mean, it's his favorite
Technically, you can't disagree because you have no control over his preference
gravity falls clip guy?
& the Pure Comedy comparison was on point too
that and Mariner's Apt Complex are my favorites for sure
Great video, what a great mix of tastes. Disappointed The Script didn’t make it though.
Glad to see picks from the metal greats
Watched the whole thing
It was good
Thank you
1:14. You should definitely check out some Manchester Orchestra. They made the best album of last year imo
You mad man. This is a crazy video idea.
We need a part 2. So many comments of great artists, big and small, that weren’t suggested.
The video is crazy. Itd be kinda hype for a part 2 with David Bowie, Jeff Buckley, King Crimson, MCR, New Order, Pixies, Husker Du, New York Dolls, Television, MBV, Earth Wind and Fire just to list a few I could think of right away
I may have named someone that was said, and didnt notice but otherwise a part 2 would be hype as shit
@@danielisraeli9924Honestly suprised he didn't mention My Bloody Valentine, but oh well.
Waiting for simon & garfunkel as well
David Bowie is already in it
Bowie was on here. His favorite was starman.
Such a great idea! Hope you’re doing well!
Seeing that you do t know everclear broke my heart haha.
Part 2?
Def Leppard, Ninja Sex Party, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the Stones, A Day To Remember, Poison, Pendulum, Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Boston?
Well I've got some listening to do, thanks Alfo
Weezer's white album is incredible, and I agree with your take that it's on even footing with pinkerton and blue. Also neon gravestones is the best song on trench, and while I'm biased towards their early stuff, I totally respect the pick.
I love stupidly long videos like this one.
your top beatle picks are so good
I really appreciate the shout of I've Just Seen a Face. My favorite Beatles song, and I feel like it gets overshadowed by some of the heavy hitters on Help! like the title song and Yesterday.
great picks all around
If you ever do a Part 2 (even though you don’t want to do more talking), my suggestions are:
- Tally Hall (encompasses Tally Hall, Miracle Musical, Joe Hawley, Rob Cantor, Andrew Horowitz/edu [search Sketches 3D edu, that’s the one I’m talking about], Ross Federman aka Mr F aka DJ Ross Federman of Tally Hall)
- Will Wood and the Tapeworms
- The Hoosiers (one of their songs was in a Toy Story 3 trailer)
- Pendragon
- Wang Chung
- Queen (if you want)
- David Bowie (if you want)
The preemptive “this is just my taste” is key
LOVE endless bummer one of my favorite tracks off white glad it's your favorite song
I prefer the masterful I Don’t Want To Let You Go in terms of slow, depressing endings, but Endless Bummer is easily one of my favorites from the past few albums. It’s a beautiful song that’s perfect for crying to. I can’t wait to party to SZNS, but I’m also hoping for more slow songs like that.
By the title I thought that you would imagine how your favorite song would be if it wore made by other artists. What the video is acctualy about makes way more sense
So happy for Pictures of You by The Cure on this video. Magnum Opus.
march madness is obviouslly a classic BUT you have to check out c*deine crazy and the mixtape it came from monster, its by far futures best project and c*deine crazy is a top 10 hiphop song in my opinion
Just want a playlist with all of this
I need a playlist of this lol
i could listen to you talking for hours so im glad i can stop rewatching your videos for 55 minutes (:
I know like half of these and could not name any songs for more.
I have been here since the metal video and waiting for the follow up
Great choices for the weeknd, all your favs are basically mine as well especially the hills
I can't recommend Manic Street Preachers highly enough, super underrated outside the UK
hell yeah man
I was watching this hoping you were asked about Weird Al, sure I’d be let down. Then when you got asked AND you had the same favourite as mine…lovely
Lumineers have one amazing album though. III is a concept album with some amazing story telling behind and some great emotional moments and variety.
Need this playlist
I ADORE Neon Indian. My personal favorite album of his is Era Extraña, which has a double meaning if you are a fellow Spanish speaker. It evokes the feeling of laying in your bed on a hot summer day. Alan Palomo tried to use a little samples as possible, focusing on making every sound himself. As a result you get an entirely unique sound and feeling that can only really be found in this album. My favorites from this album are Polish Girl, Hex Girlfriend, Fallout, Halogen (I Could Be A Shadow), and Arcade Blues. Enjoy!
I have yet to find another artist or album that summon the same feel as this particular album. The closest artists I could find were maybe Tame Impala, Yeasayer, or Washed Out.
I love Neon Indian too! Although Night School takes the cake for me, such a perfect album
I’m gonna have to sit down for this one.
This video 🔥🔥🔥
Even if I had to watch it in two parts, I watched it in its entirety and it was good.
Also, a Spotify playlist, yummy!
No Shade In The Shadow Of Cross is easily one of the most tragically beautiful songs ever
You can tell how great of an artist Sufjan is that I’m disappointed he chose a song that would be most other’s best. But Carrie and Lowell always was an album I have to be in a particular mood for, much more than any of his others.
29:54 I don't blame you one bit. I discovered this exact Magdalena Bay song last week on Brad Taste In Music's paid song request stream, and I checked out the Mercurial World album. I've been absolutely loving it since.
Ayyy sick! It’s an amazing album. I actually shelled out $45 a couple weeks back for Brad to listen to my song I made
1901 was in many PlayStation adverts, which likely featured fifa at some point in time, so that’s probably where you recognise it from

Huh?
Great list but why no Adele, Guns N Roses, Joni Mitchell, Janet or Michael Jackson, Beastie Boys, Rage Against the Machine, Marvin Gaye, Alanis Morrisette, Harry Styles, Queen, Childish Gambino, James Brown, Sam Cooke, Tupac or Public Enemy? I realise these are submitted by viewers/followers but NOBODY mentioned any of these important artists?? That’s crazy!
People like Uzi vert over them lol
Breaking: people don't mention music other people like. More at 11.
Right like the inclusion of cardi b over many great artist frustrated me a tad.
For Childish Gambino, he thinks hes overrated and never made a good album

Also interesting that there is literally 0 of these songs that I would consider my favourite by any of these artists in my own version of this.
Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God) - Kate Bush is still a real talent.
Only started so idk if he’s picked it yet but it’s her best
Top fan here, good pick one of best songs from trench imo.
