    Just got mine in today. Took it in to get it leveled and 1st,2nd,and 3rd didn’t even need to be adjusted. This sight is well worth the money

    PROBLEMS WITH UV SLIDER and it's warranty; my slider arrived from the manufacturer with the two middle screws loose on the gear track and the plastic track having a distortion where the middle screws had been tightened; this means you either have screws that back out and contact the slider or a slider that will bind and be hard to slide due to the distortion caused by the screws. It was discovered within the first 20 shots when one screw backed out and wouldn't allow the slider to slide. I contacted UV within my trial period, and they refused to exchange it, they required me to pay to ship it back for repair. Upon receipt they agreed the gear track was the problem and replaced it and then held my UV Slider hostage until i paid a $15 repair fee. When I stated this was a warranty item caused by a manufacturing defect and i received it this way, they said the UV Slider does not come with the same warranty everything else does (which is not mentioned anywhere on their website, the website says all products come with a 1-year 100 percent warranty). I've been a HUGE UV fan and have always been treated well by them and never had a problem with any of their products until now. It is my opinion that if you don't stand behind the product to be free from a manufacturing defect then you shouldn't be selling it especially for this price point, and if the UV Slider does not come with a warranty, then you need to state this up front or train your support staff, so consumers who have legit problems with defects are treated better. I also requested to talk to someone on the phone multiple times and as of the time of writing this never received a call. I fully support that this is a new product that may have some unexpected problems they need to work out and I would have no issues with UV needing to make some changes/repairs to resolve it... but i expected them to stand behind it and fix it w/o telling me it doesn't have a warranty like their other products and i have to pay to fix it. Ironically, I received an email asking for a product review which stated they want honest reviews even if bad so they could improve. I had asked for a supervisor to call me so i could share my experience w/o going public but nobody called. I'm going to post this in a few places hoping it will get to someone more senior in the organization in case their customer service is not sharing how they are handling problems such as mine.

    Thanks for the sight in portion. Not many videos out there explaining how to do it. I just got mine in a few days ago, can’t wait to slap it on my lift and start playing with it!

    Nice job explaining, easy to follow! Question, how close were the 1st, 2nd & 3rd axis settings out of the box, did you have to adjust much?
    Looking forward to more of your video's.

    • @thehiddenoutdoors6535
      @thehiddenoutdoors6535  7 месяцев назад

      The really nice part is the 1st and 2nd axis are set together when you get it so just have to level them to your bow, string, or how you like it. They were all pretty close. The 3rd axis will vary the most just with how you torque the bow.

    Did you use the middle pin the whole time finding the sight tape?

    • @thehiddenoutdoors6535
      @thehiddenoutdoors6535  5 месяцев назад

      Yeah so you will use the middle pin and sight it in at 20 make sure you line the sight in tape up with it at 20 then shoot at 60 and what number works with 60 should be your sight tape.

    great review. I cant get my site to work. Im shooting a mathews lift, 70lbs, 440gr arrow. its telling me I need site tape 28. when I put it on I cant get the 30 arrow to line up with the 60yd mark on the tape. I would have to slide the site tape down so far that there are no screw holes left. I dont know what to do....

    • @thehiddenoutdoors6535
      @thehiddenoutdoors6535  4 месяца назад

      When your sighting in did you use the middle 30 yard pin and sight that in at 20 yards then move the sight in scale to match that. Once you get that lined up then slide the sight to the number that works at 60 and that should get you the sight tape you need.

    • @kot0564
      @kot0564 4 месяца назад

      @@thehiddenoutdoors6535 yes, when I used the 30 pin i had to slide the sight in tape down to the bottom screw hole to line up. but i was able to get the 20 yd mark lined up with the arrow. then i took it back to 60yds, had to adjust the site to 28 and it was sited in. however when i got my 28 site tape and went to put it on, I could not get the middle arrow to line up with the 60yd mark on the tape. closest i could get it to was 65yds, otherwise my site tape would not line up with any of the screw holes, it would be too far down. Im not sure if Im doing something wrong. Not sure if anyone else had this issue.

      @@kot0564 the only solution I can think of would be to remove the sight tape and adjust how you stick it onto the metal sight tape. Might have to use some scotch tape to get it to stick back down well again.

      @@thehiddenoutdoors6535 yeah, that’s a possibility. It almost seems like I have to move my whole site down on the mounting bracket. But it came from the factory where it’s at, and I haven’t seen anyone say they had to do that. I’m gonna start over tomorrow with fresh arms. Hopefully I can get it to work. Thanks for the reply’s !

    So what happens if you turn the screw clockwise (or counter clockwise) without loosening the two screws. Will this throw your 1st and 2nd off?

    • @thehiddenoutdoors6535
      @thehiddenoutdoors6535  5 месяцев назад +1

      The first and second axis are tied together so they will stay at a 90 degrees to each other. By not loosening the two rail screws and just moving the 1st and 2nd axis adjustment screw will move but the level shouldn’t move. If you loosen those two rail screws then it will move to wherever you loosened or tightened that axis adjustment screw to.

      Yes, I had a stupid moment and decided to “Tighten” the adjustment screw cause it looked loose. Thanks that helps allot!

    Update on my slider situation: contacted UV, which is extremely difficult because you can only email or text them. I chose to text them which they didn’t reply for two days. They asked me to send a picture of my sight tape to them, which I did. A day later they got back to me and if I could send another picture with more detail, which I replied my phone camera is broke and that’s the best I could do. Which is the truth. I then asked if I could just talk to someone, they responded with “unfortunately no” and sent me a RUclips video link to some random guys video of a UV slider review(tipsy ripper)and told me to watch that for troubleshooting info. At that point I was getting angry because this is day 4 of back and fourth and getting no where, so I just texted back “you guys are a joke, atleast send me a link to something ultraview produced, not some random person on RUclips.” They then proceeded to tell me if I’m unhappy to return the product and they’re closing my inquiry. Probably the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. All I wanted was for someone to help me figure out why it’s not sighting in properly. I really like the product, but you better hope you don’t have any issues because they have zero customer service and they’re insulting in the way they handle things.

      You’re the second person that’s commented about their customer service not being helpful. Hopefully they create a solution. I do like their product as well but I think there’s a few sights that are coming out that are better. I personally will be using the HHA Tetra Max X3. Just has a few things I like better. Not sponsored by them.
