    I love this sight so much I am now running this sight on both my Phase 4 and new Lift. I have also decided to run this sight on my Bowtech Core SR and my Darton Sequel 33.

    Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the new UV slider. I'm still using my HHA Tetra Max RYZ kitted with the UV3 scope. HHA slider frame is built like a tank and easy to adjust. And replacement yardage wheels for different arrow setups. I like the UV3 scope because of how the removeable light integrates within the scope. However their QC with the fibers are questionable. Bumped my scope few times during a hunt and after the hunt noticed fibers were coming out of the pin. I ended up sourcing the fibers and tubes and replaced them, easy fix but it should be somewhat "bullet proof" out of the factory. The new slider is very expensive and backordered till April 2024. However, for the "is it worth it?" decision is solely based on the individual. I'd buy it because of the innovation and similarities with HHA. But for now and because of availability, I'll stick to getting another HHA frame and get the new UV3 XL 3pin hunting sight

    PROBLEMS WITH UV SLIDER and it's warranty; my slider arrived from the manufacturer with the two middle screws loose on the gear track and the plastic track having a distortion where the middle screws had been tightened; this means you either have screws that back out and contact the slider or a slider that will bind and be hard to slide due to the distortion caused by the screws. It was discovered within the first 20 shots when one screw backed out and wouldn't allow the slider to slide. I contacted UV within my trial period, and they refused to exchange it, they required me to pay to ship it back for repair. Upon receipt they agreed the gear track was the problem and replaced it and then held my UV Slider hostage until i paid a $15 repair fee. When I stated this was a warranty item caused by a manufacturing defect and i received it this way, they said the UV Slider does not come with the same warranty everything else does (which is not mentioned anywhere on their website, the website says all products come with a 1-year 100 percent warranty). I've been a HUGE UV fan and have always been treated well by them and never had a problem with any of their products until now. It is my opinion that if you don't stand behind the product to be free from a manufacturing defect then you shouldn't be selling it especially for this price point, and if the UV Slider does not come with a warranty, then you need to state this up front or train your support staff, so consumers who have legit problems with defects are treated better. I also requested to talk to someone on the phone multiple times and as of the time of writing this never received a call. I fully support that this is a new product that may have some unexpected problems they need to work out and I would have no issues with UV needing to make some changes/repairs to resolve it... but i expected them to stand behind it and fix it w/o telling me it doesn't have a warranty like their other products and i have to pay to fix it. Ironically, I received an email asking for a product review which stated they want honest reviews even if bad so they could improve. I had asked for a supervisor to call me so i could share my experience w/o going public but nobody called. I'm going to post this in a few places hoping it will get to someone more senior in the organization in case their customer service is not sharing how they are handling problems such as mine.

    I’ll be curious to see if they add that 20 yard stop to batch 7 coming in April. It’s the only somewhat negative remark I’ve seen in tons of reviews, I think yours was the third time I’ve heard it. And I get it. If they don’t add it to the newer models I hope they come up with an add on. I just bought my first moving sight, an hha tetra max which I haven’t completely sighted in yet because I’m waiting for mods for my lift, so I’m not completely familiar with the necessity of a stop. Anyway I couldn’t take the temptation anymore and ordered the uv, so pumped! The way I’m looking at it is I just bought the last sight I will ever need.

      It’s a great slider sight. After using it this season that’s the only complaint I have. I hope they do come up with an add on and ship it with the newer models.

    I find that the windage knob is difficult to if not impossible to pull out sometimes. I used a plastic plyers to get mine to come out the last time I needed it. Do you have the same problem or do you know of a solution?

      I haven’t had that problem. Mine still functions well. I’ve heard of other problems but this is the first I’ve heard of this issue. I know I’ve had grass seed stuck in mine but could pull it out. Do you hunt where there’s a lot of dust or dirt?

    my uv slider has a hard stop?

    • @thehiddenoutdoors6535
      @thehiddenoutdoors6535  6 месяцев назад +1

      I’m meaning a stop that you can move so your scope can stop at your 20 yard mark or whatever you have your top pin at.

    At $600 & has some "could be better" aspects, I'd pass.
