I saw your first video about the IM30 and instantly ordered one from Amazon. And I´m happy that Godox producing this cheap, little flash because the price for this small Fujifilm flash is a joke. Thank you for your videos 🙂
@@JOJO-yk4hr i live in Germany and bought it on Amazon with 1 day delivery. I´ve checked it now but it looks like the flash is sold out. Delivery date is now December / January 😕
I love this look! I've always called it the "flashed out" look. The tiny flashes seem to work better for it. For some reason I think it gives like a really strong mood. Hard to explain it. Like celebrity BTS or something. I think it's also like edgy fashion.
John, hello! Thanks for the last video about this iM30! On the same day, I ordered one for myself for a ridiculous 2,600 rubles (it's about $27 now). I hope they will send it from China soon and this baby can be tested. Its huge advantages are that it has convenient manual operation and optical synchronization with other flashes.
These look great and especially for something so small and a simple set up. Curious how much, if any, post processing to get the wall as evenly white as it was? That has always been something I'm working on, getting the background even white while getting a good exposure on the model.
I did some (minor) curves on the backdrop to bring them up, but it really depends on your model placement. I like them very close to the backdrop myself.
Any ideas about conparing this with the Ulanzi F12 Mini Camera Flash Speedlite? I bought it with the triple blow up leds from your last video, and now I wonder how you would compare those? Propably the S1/2 is the best feature about them.
@@kaskoPhoto That's kind of a pain when shooting weddings with so many photos. LOL. A few times when I got redeye when I had to use direct flash outdoors. Lightroom if it can't see the eye that well can't fix redeye.
I’m new to flash but looking for something small and affordable that can be used on film cameras. I mainly want off camera, so could I use two of these with the one on the camera triggering the other? Does the one on the camera still need to flash? Or would a more standard flash and trigger be better?
The one on the camera would need to flash as it’s an optical slave setup. Depending on your camera system and how much you want to learn… but being new to flash and using film, I’d go with a dedicated flash system vs this, a manual only flash.
how's the exposure consistency when shooting back to back? Like if I shoot a few shots quickly, will the exposure be the same? My v350 needs like 5 seconds between shots to have the same output
I believe it would not work with Sony because Sony has front contacts and not the traditional bottom comtacts and i believe there is no centerpin contact if i am not mistaken
cheap, good light quality and even faster recycle time than the Fuji (but I guess every thing recycles faster hahaha) a no brainer as they say. Is Bruna already living in the studio hahaha

I hated it in the 80s and 90s - I spent a lot of money on flash brackets back then. Now it’s one of my favorite looks.
@@kaskoPhoto Same thing with expired film and light leaks!
I always love these photos taken with such small flashes. They are so inspiring. I love them more than those with softboxes 😍
I’m with you on that. They just have that look
really love your talking about the IM30
Thank you
and bad with the Fuji, they don't fit on a Leica CL, due to the bump of the viewfinder. Need to check if the Godox one is a bit higher
I forgot about that. I loved that CL!

Very welcome. Hope it gets there soon!
Just today I received this flash. A great flash option for constant carrying. light, small and very comfortable. I really like use this flash.

These are exactly the type of photos I want to shoot for this clothing product shoots I'm currently working on. Cant seem to figure it out!

It would be cool if they put on tilting joint on the next iteration
Love this video!
Thank you, random unknown person. 😂
Thanks for sharing.
Very welcome. I love finds like this and really can’t wait to share the good stuff
Hi, if possible please can you make video on how you edit you photos
I am working on it.

I do like that feature. I will be using these with my other flashes all the time because of that.
What would you say is the flash coverage in focal length?
Honestly I’d say 28 but that would purely be a guess
Did you ever get redeye with the Fuji flash?
Yes

Well at the 1/16th and /32nd power I was using it was perfect
They claim 3.5 seconds but that is likely going to be faster if using less than full power.
@@thenexthobby it’s near instant at 1/16 power

Like I said in the video, this is shot on a Sony. Sony is based on the traditional single pin - all manual flashes will work on a Sony.
Would this fit leica q2? Thanks
Yes. Would work great with it.
@ thanks very much
does it work with nikon Zf?
Yes

She is not, but I do love working with her for things on this channel. Straight forward no bs woman.
😮
Yep
I didn't get what you meant about s1/s2 - You mean to trigger IM30 off camera or use IM30 as a trigger?
They have optical slaves built in
