I used something similar to the phone pouch before, but not as a wallet. It was given as a freebie at an industry show and was not as stretchy. I stuck it on the outside of my iPad mini case and used it as a business card holder and also a non skid pad. it worked like a charm for a couple of years. I had a Victorinox Swiss Army Altius 2.0 for about 10 years. When it needed to be replaced they had discontinued the 2.0 and have a new 3.0 version which I didn't care for. So I spent weeks researching my new wallet and went with a Bellroy Note Sleeve which is absolutely amazing. It's expensive but I plan to have it for 10 years. I've had it 2 years now and it's still essentially brand new.
Great review as always! I just recently got a new Levi's wallet to replace my old leather one that had a chain... unfortunately the new one doesn't have the hole for the chain, so I just kept the chain and leave it hooked to my belt loops... but anyway, that origami wallet was definitely something to marvel at! I always sit on my wallets, often for hours and hours a day, so even the true genuine leather ones only last me a few years. Here's to hoping my new one gets that far, lol.

The pocket wallet is pretty good for students I would say. We don’t have many cards, at most 2 or 3, and we seldom use cash. Most of the people in my school have one (not this particular brand but similar ones) and it fits student life well because we always bring our phones around, so we will never forget it, and it’s perfect for a student ID and debit card combo.
I think wallets and purses are a very personal thing like you mentioned. I hate those phone wallets, phones are big and bulky as it is without adding more bulk to them tho they might be good for a trip to places like Disney or Universal when you really want to minimize what you're carrying around all day. It takes me forever to find a wallet or purse that I like. I used a mighty wallet for a while, switched between a couple over 2-3 years. They're a great wallet and if you're into a wallet that ages as it's used, they're great. Over time they kinda flab out and grow in size about 30% due to the paper wearing in and the wallet stretching out.
Can we talk about the high school ID from '83?!! James looks like a totally radical pot head that rocks out and skates when he's not kicking back in class! Unrecognizable, sick how people can change over the years LOL
i've had 2 wallets over the last 20 years. both cheap-o walmart leather bifolds. first one lasted about 10 years with rough teenage treatment, mainly getting it wet multiple times. the second is in much better shape showing basically no signs of wear at the same age as the last.. i figure i'll have one more wallet in my lifetime. that PB&J wallet looks the best to me.
I used to have one of those Mighty Wallets, but it looked like an old airmail envelope. Sadly, the wallet only lasted about a year before it started getting micro tears around the card slots. It would also frequently become "unfolded" in my pocket.

I used to have a wallet phone case and I loved it... however, after having it for a while, the slots would stretch out and my cards would fall out really easily. So, I went back to carrying a regular wallet.

I liked the Mighty Wallet with the R2D2 look to it. It was just what I could see a lot of my family and friends using a comic con type place.
It's just me, but I don't like having the idea of having a phone wallet. If you lose your phone you lose your wallet
You could stick two of the minimal wallet stickers together and put it in your pocket. I’ve found multiple pocket versions of those for under $5.
I got those wallets you stick in your phone at Five Below. They’re ok for a while, but they get stretched out after a while and everything falls out.
i've had 2 wallets over the last 20 years. both cheap-o walmart leather bifolds. first one lasted about 10 years with rough teenage treatment, mainly getting it wet multiple times. the second is in much better shape showing basically no signs of wear at the same age as the last.. i figure i'll have one more wallet in my lifetime. that PB&J wallet looks the best to me.
@ 17:20, the true mack daddy pullin some amazing moves!!!
I used to have one of those Mighty Wallets, but it looked like an old airmail envelope. Sadly, the wallet only lasted about a year before it started getting micro tears around the card slots. It would also frequently become "unfolded" in my pocket.
There's an entire wallet brand called Big Skinny. I've had a trifold for years and really liked it since I have lots of stuff. Wondered if you ever reviewed them?
He hasn't reviewed that brand yet. I think only that wallet he showed that he's using as his daily
I've had a different brand of the Ekster wallet and have loved it u should review the ridge wsllet
i had that pb&j wallet in high school! i tried putting way too much change in it so it kind of destroyed itself
The Top Wallet stressed me out 😂
I used to have a wallet phone case and I loved it... however, after having it for a while, the slots would stretch out and my cards would fall out really easily. So, I went back to carrying a regular wallet.
My Hubby and I both have the generic dream wallet and love them. I think it was like $8 or $10 on Amazon. Ours also has a compartment on the outside of the cover with a flip out card thing that has 3 additional slots for cards and behind that you can put addition things.
I also do the "house leaving check" every times. Mine is housekeys, wallet, phone, jobkeys, earbuds
