Total War: Warhammer is part of Creative Assembly's grand strategy Total War series. I think for the Empire, Dwarfs and Bretonnia it should have been him just wearing his original Light Wizard robes using illusions to hide his chaos corruption. As a light wizard he already works for the Empire. Also he can easily come with cover story to the Dwarfs and the Bretonnians that he is an atchee sent by Karl Franz to foster relationships with the Empire
I wish i knew his damn voice actor. The credits just say he's played by someone who does several voices, and several people are said to play several characters, so i don't know which one it is.
The advisor is a disciple of tzeentch he is not? Maybe all those disguises are actual physical transformations he has to undergo for each campaign
No he actually appears as himself but he has such powerful persuasion he can stay with that faction.

I'm still trying to confed Manfred as Vlad/Isabella. But no luck yet.
I did in my two campaigns as Vlad/Isabella, you would need to have good relations with him (usually above 80 is good), and when he looses a huge battle and a big chunk of his strengh, if you are stronger than him its a good confederation chanse. Might need to drop in a few more coins (or souls, they're vampires after all!)
@@VladimirDemidovIllusiveMan Tried that but he recovers to fast and accepts everything except a confed proposal.
@@steffent.6477 You need to keep an eye on his balance of power in the diplomacy menu, and watch his battles, when it drops and you are stronger than he is, the confederate option might become yellow or green. It also might become available after he looses a siege defence battle. As soon as it happens you should* be able to conf him.
*It doesn't always happen, you need to be in good relations with him and you must be stronger than he is, the better the relations are between you, and the stronger you are than he is, the bigger the chance to confederate.
