Shout out to "Witch" for her dedication and moral code. My late wife Karla was a soldier in the Army, who prepared me for Basic Training, when I joined the Army. She supported me throughout the eleven years I was in and helped me prepare for promotion boards, etc.

Prayers are answered that she and her fellow soldiers are alive, although everyday the loss of her brave service members is a tragedy. I served as both a Bravo and Alpha Mortar Fire Controller in the British Army and it was by far one of the best roles I did in the Army. I was also an Alpha Mortar Fire Controller out in Afghanistan working for Estonians and United States Marines.

Russia had air support in their last winter offensive and they were incapable to achieve any significant strategic victory. Air support is a gift but no necessary is a "must have". The previous ucrania offensive, the last year, was a clear victory without air support.
The main reason because the offensive is so slow is because the invaders did a really good job preparing their defenses. The most strategic goals are very very well protected. Will take time and resources.

I am always impressed by how effective the women in Ukraine's military are. They are as fierce and determined as any male counterpart. Together the men and women of Ukraine's armed forces are unstoppable. I love updates on her career, I am glad to see she is healthy. It is unfortunate that she has to be here defending her homeland from a bunker rather than spending time raising her child like regular people everywhere. The Russians have made it clear that if they win they will purge all things Ukraine. I'm a US Marine (retired) and I tell you what, I wouldn't want to go up against Witch or the Ukrainians. Russia has no chance in the long run, their army is a joke
@@dpelpal Their army is a joke. The rigidity in doctrine is made of adamantine, they have no NCO core and their officers are corrupt at all levels. The Ukrainians, however, looks like the fastest adapting bunch of mad scientists you can imagine, and their morale is impeccable. With enough budget and aid Ukraine could easily become a power house even China would think twice, thrice and fourth about picking a fight with.
I was in the Danish artillery for 17 years.... and I also do absolutely not fancy the idea of facing off with the Ukrainians. At present I don't even think the Finns (who've traditionally been the scary ones when it comes to artillery) can teach the Ukrainian artillery a lesson that isn't already in their field manuals.

I have seen a lot of Ukrainian Combat Soldier and footage.
What surprised my was they where all willing and very high in spirits and therefor smiling a lot.
This works wel for unit cohesion and mentality.
This to me says it all... this is a winning mentality.
Of course during combat there are some intense moments,
but overall the vibe and feel even during combat as you may call it is strong and positive even under very dire circumstances.
This I find very incredible.
