My first experience with spiderman was the 90's cartoon. I was born in 91 but I watched every episode of the X-Men and Spider-Man. Especially the Fox kids Saturday morning reruns. My family had always struggled with addiction to alcohol and methamphetamine. I always tried to see the good in them even through the influence. Spider-Man and the alien costume saga was the absolute most powerful thing I had ever witnessed. A suit that made you stronger and faster yet it eventually corrupted you. To watch Peter make the distinction that his new power wasn't worth the corruption and his attempt to remove it despite being slightly less powerful, was so important to me. He returned to the classic red and blue. He went back to his troubled life. This episode changed my life. I was so proud and inspired. THAT was a REAL hero. I will always be grateful for the character. And it started me down a path of Marvel and all their great stories in comics,shows,movies, and games. Spider-Man and X-Men will forever be my favorite due to their intricate concepts and complex characters and their interactions with each other.
Yes, the 90s shows might be my personal favourite of both series. I may be a generation behind you, but I loved watching Mutant Agenda and the Venom Saga both on DVD and eventually I got around to watching X-Men on Disney+ recently
I always love hearing different creative teams talk about their process with creatives from other projects. It's kind of incredible that the Universe gave us a year with an incredible Spider-Man movie and an incredible Spider-Man game released around the same time. Now we get to hear how both of these Marvel triumphs came to be. 🙌🏽 ✨️

I’d love to something like this with fans like me who were born in 2002 and grew up with the movies who talk with the people who have these kinds of experiences. Those movies also brought me to amazing shows like Spectacular Spider-Man and Spider-Man: The Animated Series (90s). That brought a deeper love of the character.

I love the 60's 80's and 90's Spider man series. I think those series did alot of things right and could be influences to something new that kids could really enjoy today.
The modern adaptations are cool too but different.
But i think the rhythm, pacing and styles in the traditional shows were more a kin to the identy of what spider man was.
Style is very important because it effects how people identify with the show, and the rhythms and pacing has a very important effect on how the viewer can get a grip on the show and how everything lands, the jokes, effects, action. Well basically everything.

I like the new games because to me it's like the Raimi films continuing and adding Miles Morales. It's GOOD.
If there are lot of fans for spiderman now, it's only because of Sam raimi and Tobey maguire spiderman. When DC were good in making movies with great collections, spiderman 2002 was the one which broke all those records of DC.
Now the spiderman movies are started like feeling like a crap
Raimis movies are to me essential spiderman films.
I still watch them almost every year. They are so well made and just awesome movies.
They should bring back blockbuster movie music videos back. I loved when they released a soundtrack song and showed the music video everywhere where the band is playing and showing scenes from the movie.

Sony need to give up the rights... ruining the brand of Spider-man on the big screen and gate keeping the IP on Playstation is ridiculous.

Can we all agree Sony is absolutely awful at handling spider-man. The only thing they have going for them is spiderverse.
