As a high school graduate in 92 and a former hooper I played against 5 of the guys on this roster Bright,Lloyd, Moore and Davis either at 5 star camp or when we played Oak Hill my senior year and I was teammates with Simpson at 5 star camp. I also played against Chris Davis in college my Sr year he played at Lynn University in Boca Raton Florida we hung out after the game but I haven’t heard anything from him since super cool dude though. Great video that I was waiting for. Side note I played at Lambuth University in Jackson TN where Tony Delk’s brother is the all time leading scorer I finished my career 5th 😊
@ I really can’t complain I had fun and I played against Oak Hill Academy 3 straight years as a sophomore.,Junior and senior we had them beat my jr year until Cory Alexander hit a 3 with 2 seconds left and they won 72-69 😞
In the Memphis papers, we would read about Delk a lot. Covington is about forty five mins away from Memphis proper, but a lot of the city was happy for him when he UK won the 96 championship
Richard Keene could shoot the shit out of it in HS then at Illinois primarily just shot like shit most of the time. Real soft too. Was an undergrad at same time he played at U of I & God did Keene piss us off.
The Mavs built around Kidd, Jackson, and Jamal MURRAY?? Amazing, since Murray was barely born. ...
Jamal Mashburn
lol at least I used the right guy in the picture?
@@RickyFrech404 Mashburn is a Legend!!

Chris and Ben are not brothers I played against Ben My Jr year when they had 3 McDonald’s all Americans
@@harrylynnjr thanks for this. Sounds like you had a hell of a run for yourself.

Very cool info. Thanks for sharing!

I’ve been waiting for this! Your videos are great bro. Look forward to the next USA football episode as well.
9:33 - Jamal Mashburn
They only let originally foreign players into the game if you went to school in the country. Nash played prep ball in Canada.

He’s from Brownsville and played at Haywood High School not Covington
@ you’re right! Thanks for the reminder
6:17 is the homie Wayne Turner not Edwards.
the best series hands down
2:49 if I’m not mistaken, Davis won a JUCO national title and earned All American honors at Pensacola JC before going on to Auburn.
@ 6:17 you used a picture of Wayne Turner instead of Allen Edwards. Nice video tho.
Came here to say this 🤝🏻
Serge Zwikker, that 7-3 guard! 😮
It was nice to see David letterman give Duane his degree.
4:51 I think he did an advertisement for a perfume spray?
6:19 that’s Wayne Turner…. jus sayin

Haha!!
TONY BUCKETS.
Jamal Mashburn. Not Murray. How do you make that dumb mistake?
Both Jamals played at Kentucky maybe?
Corliss Williamson never averaged over 17 points in his career. Not sure where 22.5 ppg in 2002 came from ... he averaged 13.6 that season.
You are correct. I think I must've accidentally scrolled to per 36 when I wrote that down. My mistake!
The triple J was Kidd, Jackson and Jamal Mashburn, not Lamond Murray ... don't know who Jamal Murray is..
What happened to 1991? I mean I`m no Michigan fan, But I can think of at least 4 (of the Fab Five) that were Mcdonalds All Americans.
1991 came out weeks ago. I was waiting on that one. That's the last class I followed
There's a video of them on my channel that went up a bit a go
Jamal murray? Uhhh
Terrible Googling because Tony Delk is born and raised in Brownsville TN
Could be right. I went with what Basketball Reference has listed.
Dallas Mavericks went to the NBA finals in 2024 not 2023.
Rodrick Rhodes was nice, but he really couldn't do it here.
