- Everyone always asks what bike I’m fastest on, so I loaded up the CR500, YZ450, 1996 CR250 and the YZ250 2-stroke. We headed out to a very frozen Kelley Farm to see what was best that day. We will do this test again in better conditions but it was a ton of fun ripping all these bikes! Tell me in the comments which bike is your favorite and what you think you'd be fastest on!

Mate the fact you could get that 500 on the pipe at all is amazing let alone in those conditions! Most of us would be sitting inside complaining about the weather 😩

The fact you did this test in those cold icy conditions. You deserve major props. I really hope you do this again in better conditions. That CR500 would smoke them all. In my opinion.

At 42 years old, I can't even think about riding in 30 degree weather. But I certainly remember it. Heck I can remember my dad plowing snow off the track so we could ride.

Man, I couldn't imagine living in a place that gets cold like that. I've literally been late for work because I have to deal with the 45° temp sometimes early in the morning before it warms up around 10am in winter time. I've always wondered how people survive in places like that because I wouldn't make it.

when it cold and the 2 strokes are hard to start lay it down and let gas run out the overflow for 3.or 4 seconds and with the chock on it should start right up.
I like the layer of ice removal ZZ Top sweep mtv style.....smooth...yeah the CR 500 is a beast an a handfull in any condition...its cold A frozen ground very cold u went by a piece of ground and left no marks A its frozen for sure if the CR 500 didnt leave a mark....

500 cc had too old frame and suspensions..
Put that motor onto a new frame and you'll burn 4 farters even in this conditions
I’m pretty sure being on the old steel frame made it a much better bike in those conditions. Aluminum frames and old 500 motors don’t really match together. It vibrates way too much and too rigid.
All that money in 3 2 strokes and a bone stock 450 beat them
