- Took a trip down to Florida for Red Bull Day In The Dirt Down South. Robbie Green let me rip his absolutely mint 1993 CR250. So much fun ripping it up with such a great group of people. Who has had a chance to rip at a Day In The Dirt before?

I'm just amazing by this young fella.
He can rip on a bike, has mechanical knowledge, appreciates old bikes and makes cool videos for us 👍👍 I'm hoping he has a very bright future.
I bought a 93 cr 250 new in 1992 for 5400.. I remember being so shocked on the power and technology hahaha
I bought a new 97 CR250 when they came out. Previous bike was a 1990 CR125. I did not know till later that will was not supposed to vibrate so bad your hands get numbs. I thought that's what 250s were supposed to do and was normal.

What was causing such bad vibration? I never rode the 250. I wanted the first year 125 but never happened. A took a friend to pick up one and he let me take laps with it anytime he was at the track.
@@sammylacks4937 It was the ultra stiff aluminum frame. Bike was an absolute rocket in a straight line. Turned like a school bus and vibrated so bad your hands would get numb.

I had a 1994 CR 250 and that bike was the best handling bike I have ever owned! It blew my mind from the moment I hit the first corner, I thought I was doing something wrong because it was so easy to turn and get straight again. I have a 2002 cr 250r that I just finished making perfect and I would trade this for any 93-97 cr 250 in a heart beat. I'am 58 and those old Honda steel frames were pure gold. Contact me if you have one. Only problem is I live in Canada...

I'm clearly the worst #CB910 fan. Had no idea you were right here in my backyard! I first raced at Dade City in 1985. Wish I'd have paid more attention that you were coming. My son and I would have enjoyed meeting you. Won't make that mistake next year!

I love the new direction youve taken with your career, and the possibilities it opens up. I'd like to see you at Carson Brown's class to ride like a cool guy, maybe at HRMC, maybe CMX wherever... Your ability to rip anything I think would give you a broad stroke as a riding coach/ goon instructor.

What did really make the CR 250 lock up...They are usually very hard to kill if you don't made any mistake with piston clearance and premix??

I am; I'm planning on doing select nationals this summer, and some rounds of SX next year. I want to open it up and do a little of everything though and that's why I'm not committing to the series right now

I just bought a 93 3 weeks ago with a fresh top end, very clean with the exception of old plastics. Man its a pretty sweet first bike!!
You should come and race at territorial mx in Junction City Oregon , its a vintage / modern race called Racing for a cure , it benefits are for women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer , everyone including the racers wear pink , after the racing is over we have a big potluck dinner and auction , it'll be held on September 3rd, we hope to see you there.

What pipe were you running on the 1993 cr 250?. Looked like a dyno port pipe.

I sure miss the days when every bike that was brought to race was a two stroke. To me that sound and smell was motocross. I got to ride a big Yamaha MX 500 and it was a beast.

Seems crazy to me that they have that many people on track at once let alone the skill gaps.
Jeremy McGrath stayed with the 1993 model during his ride with Honda just changing around the plastics every year. Honda didn’t want to interrupt their sells of newer bikes.
