Hey, Guys! I bought the SP33s in Nov 22, and it failed within about 3 months. Power light worked but the LED quit. Sofirn quickly replaced it with another and it was fine until June of 2023. Sofirn was a little hesitant to replace this one but finally sent me a new light yesterday. It's been one of my go-to flashlights for our nightly walks. The only one of my 10+ Sofirn lights to have an issue. Has anyone else had issues with the SP33s? Love your channel and keep up the good work!!
Thank you my friend I appreciate your comment 🙏 Sorry to hear that you are having issues with your sp33s but glad to hear sofirn is taking care of you, my sp33s is still running strong although I don't use it everyday just occasionally.
Man you are a beast. If I had to guess your collection grows by more than 1 light a day lol. We certainly appreciate all the reviews. Thanks brother. I'm actually looking for a budget 26650 light The combination of the high capacity of a 26650 cell, the extremely efficient xhp70 emitter and sofirn build quality all makes a compelling case for this light. There are no weak links here. I might have to pick this up.
Great review... I love my sofirns but I’m surprised that holds its lumens so well... might have to add this to my collection... I was wondering if you could a video on the Sp36pro on your lumen machine... would love to see the actual lumens on that light... thanks... keep up the great work and Merry Christmas 🎄 👍
I've never seen this light in person but from the looks of it and from my experience with other larger sofirn lights there is probly a lot of thermal mass and heat sinking in all the right places. Plus the xhp70 is the most efficient emitter commonly used in enthusiast level flashlights. It does not surprise me whatsoever that this light has good thermal ramp times. Not at all. This is a light you could actually take on a long walk in the dark and not just some 2 minute hotrod flashlight.
@@lightweaverx4381 Also, the efficient boost driver is contributing less heat than a FET driver would. On a chart of sustained output vs. pocketablility - This light scores very well. TS22 might just beat it in that regard but the sc33s is still a bit better thermally and the larger reflector gives a touch more throw. (Which I find useful for the xhp70.2) It was kinda hard to decide between the two as I shopped for a 70.2 single emitter, single battery light; but ended up going SP33S over TS22.
@@smotheredchrome Would have hoped for higher output at low -- around a 100 lumens which I use frequently in the home. Was looking for a light to maintain between 1500 and 2000 lumens which I have needed in the past, at times.
anyways i also only paid 32 dollar for mine and i got 2 of them for that price lol and there green witch looks so good its very dark green so it looks good but yeah ive been wanting this light for a year now
so excited i will be buying one of these lights next month so yeah im excited im still waiting in the mail for my new Q8 plus thanks to you im now a proud new owner so thank you for these videos anyways i will leave a like in every video
Hi my friend, If you still have the Sp33s how much output show in the tube with the Samsung 40T....I have searched for a video using the 40t and it does not appear anywhere.
@@smotheredchrome My friend I trust your work, I already ordered the 40T thanks to your videos, but I don't have the equipment to measure lumens and I'm curious about the Sp33s with the 40t.
Hey man I just wanted to ask you is this light brighter than the old sp33? Cause I was thinking about getting that one, but if this one is better then I'll go with the newer version. Do you own the old sp33?
@@smotheredchrome Thanks! I thought so... Wurkkos T22 is cheaper and has the magnetic tailcap. But the 26650 battery gives that extra run time and better throw with a decent flood. Maybe time for a smackdown between these 2 lights? 🙏

hey brother i got 2 of these lights for the price of one lol and i got the green version as well looks so nice way better then the black version lol
Hi
Sine you have a sophisticated light meter, could you please let me know the low, medium, and high outputs?
Thanks
I measured 10 for eco, 75 for low, 489 for med, 1785 for high and 4,200 for turbo
@@smotheredchrome thanks a lot.It will help me make my decision to buy it--- don’t need turbo-
No problem I'm glad I could help, it's a excellent light with great runtime especially in lower modes

You can switch between stepped ramping and smooth ramping And with the smooth ramping you can dial it in to where you like

When I get home I'll test it for you.

I got 4,250 lumens with 40t
@@smotheredchrome Thank you my friend, that's was amazing... 👍
No problem my friend appreciate you 🙏
So lux And lumens are the same??
When it is calibrated with filters
@@smotheredchrome Wow I’d like to see a video on that one -thanks👍🏻

I have the sp33 v3 but it is across town when I get it I will do some test but visually sp33s is brighter
No worries about questions but that is as far as it reads not sure if you deleted it or RUclips but your last message says deleted
If the SP33S is over 4000 lumens then it's brighter for sure, the SP33 V3 maxes out at 3420 with a Molicel P42A
How do the vapcell compare to molicel?
Sofirn sp35 or sofirn sp33s? For edc, bicycle
I do not own the sp35 but I have lights with similar specs and size, I would definitely take the sp33s over the sp35 specs.
@@smotheredchrome thanks, bro 🤝
No problem appreciate you 🙏
nice one brother dam i must of bought my sofirn sp33 a while ago lol i thought it was only like 2 years ago but it must of been longer lol
Thank you my friend I appreciate your comment 🙏
That's definitely a older model, still a great light IMHO
Which Wurkkos model is the sister version of this light?
Honestly none but closest would be ts22 IMHO

Hi. Can you test the runtime on high mode?
Yes I can do that, I'll add a couple others and make a video for you, Thank you

Sorry to hear that. Glad you got your money back. They are available at AliExpress as of now.
